One reviewer says he fitted two more powerful bathroom fans with insulated ducting, and others mention work including replacing indoor and outdoor lights, fitting extractor fans, a Hive controller and an electric car charger. One reviewer says he gave a quote that seemed honest and reasonable, while another reports that he answered the phone on a Saturday and gave help over the phone. One reviewer describes the work as done to a high standard and says the job was carried out safely and efficiently.
Both bathroom fans were making strange noises and were no longer efficient. On recommendations i contacted James who called the next day, suggested what needed doing and he has just completed the job 2 weeks later. We needed 2 new more powerful fans plus insulated ducting . James arrived on time , carried out his work in a thoughtful manner , explained what he was doing and hovered up afterwards. We will be in contact with James again with any other electrical work.
James has done a couple of small jobs for me and I'd highly recommend him. He was organised, efficient, professional and friendly. He made sure he was clear about each aspect of the job before starting, kept me updated and provided clear quotes and invoices. We were very satisfied with his work and he was a pleasure to work with.
Fantastic service from start to finish! James did a brilliant job replacing seven indoor light fixtures and installing an outside light at my home. Communication was prompt, the pricing was fair and transparent, and he kept me informed of when he expected to arrive. The new lighting looks great, and the entire job was carried out safely and efficiently. James was also incredibly tidy, making sure everything was cleaned up and spotless before leaving. Highly professional, polite, and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James to anyone looking for a top-tier electrician, and I'll be contacting him for my next electrical job. Five stars!"
James has worked for my company on lots of projects. I have found him to be punctual, courteous and extremely competent. Always coming up with solutions if the project demands it! Annie Hazell Interiors
Excellent electrician based in Ashton Keynes. James from J.P.Wood Electrical carried out electrical work for us to a high standard — professional, punctual, and great value. As a local building contractor ourselves we know good trades when we see them, and James is one we'd recommend without hesitation. Great local electrician for anyone in the Ashton Keynes or wider Swindon area.
James came highly recommended and I can see why! James’s quote was honest and reasonable and the work he did was excellent. James completed everything to the timescales agreed and was so clean and tidy that we didn’t know he’d been on one day! He did everything in my home from a lighting heated mirror to fitting a new hive, dimmable kitchen lights with a stopper and new outdoors lighting. I cannot recommend him enough - and I know my friends are already booking him in for work on their homes. He is a real find’.
James is professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with. He is a good communicator and has done several jobs for us with excellent attention to detail. Would highly recommend his services.
Pleasure to have James on site. He arrived exactly when he said, provided detailed up to date information and excellent advice prior to starting work. My first contact with him was on a Saturday, he answered the phone, booked me in and provided some help over the phone. Absolutely excellent service which is a breath of fresh air in the uk building industry!
I’ve asked Jim a number of times to carry out work for me in the past few years and each time he picked the phone up straight away and was always a pleasure to speak to and happy to help me no matter how big or small the job was. I’ve always found his pricing to be fair and quality of work and advice absolutely first class. Above all he is a charming and caring man who I enjoy having around and I can totally 100% recommend to anyone.
Excellent job again by James. Fitted our new Hypervolt Electric Car charger. With thanks again for all the help in ordering and fitting.
James has completed several electrical projects for us at our home. From replacing our fuse board to new garden lighting. The quality of his work is excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
I have used James to put up new outside and inside lighting, fit two extractor fans and install a Hive heating controller. He was excellent - I would recommend him!
I have used James for many jobs and he has always been extremely professional and great to work with. Can’t recommend him highly enough!
James had completed two projects with us so far, outside lighting and new electric radiators. He was really helpful in the planning stage, very responsive and knowledgeable. The work was also completed on time and to a really high standard. Thank you James, it’s great to have a local, quality, trustworthy electrician!
