I had a few small jobs to get done which included taking down some track lighting and replacing with a regular light, installing a regular light in it’s place and installing a new electric oven removing and disposing of the old one. We’ve used KF Watson for work previously and had such a good experience we didn’t hesitate to contact them when we had an issue with our fuse box. Frances (and Keith) helped me diagnose and fix the issue over the phone. Their help was much appreciated!

Had a requirement for some electrical work in the house and garage and after unsuccessful contact with three other electricians we got told about KF Watson from a friend. From initial contact to completion of the work, which was a little over 2 weeks, everything was carried out in a professional manner. Installation was carried out to a high standard and work site left clean and tidy. Would have no hesitation in recommending KF Watson to friends and family.

Fantastic service. My son moved in to a flat and I live over 500 miles away so couldn't get there myself to look at an electrical problem. I went by Google reviews to find an electrician as there was a problem with some heating and sockets. Great communication, got a quick appointment and Keith arrived at the specified time. We were expecting some electrical problems but it turned out to be something very simple. We could have been charged for any work as my son does not know about electrics but Keith was totally honest that it was simple case of a timer and missed switch. He then told me son there was nothing to pay. As a parent living miles away it is so reassuring to know there is an honest electrician that we can call upon if we need anything. A true professional.

The men arrived on the dot, worked without a break . Both were polite , friendly and efficient. With the help of “ Hendry” hoover the carpets were left cleaner than on arrival . I will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for an electrical firm .

Contacted K F Watson by email on the Tuesday afternoon for a socket install. Came to review the job and supply a quote on the Wednesday morning and the job was done Wednesday afternoon. We’ve recently had our kitchen lights upgraded to LED and had three lights added above our new kitchen island. The cost, speed and accuracy of the work carried out was second to none. I would thoroughly recommend K F Watson Electrical.

They refused to agree to a specific time to attend my property to conduct an EICR meaning I could neither make it available for a short term stay or be present during their visit. I suspect this was intentional so that they could not be monitored while working. When they attended they fitted a CO detector next to an existing unit. When the bill arrived and was questioned they claimed they did not see the existing unit, but offered to temove the charge from the bill. Also during the visit all socket outlets were switched off including the internet router meaning I could not control the central heating, as well as the fridge/freezer causing it to defrost and leak water. Their service is "second to none" according the the lady that answers when you call their numbet, but I'm still waiting for an apology for these problems. All I received so far was a refusal from them to remove the unwanted CO detector in an angry phone call from Keith. Not recommended.

I had an EV charger installed, not a simple job, the cable had to run from the front of the house, under the floor, out through a granite wall and down about 30m of garden. I was very happy with the way the work was carried out. It was much less disruption than I'd anticipated and the team was really helpful and informative. Excellent quality of work.

The electrician arrived sharp, straight to work, very professional, did a very tidy job (new consumer unit, ev charge point) I can only reccomend them.

K F Watson replaced my out dated fuse box for a consumer unit and electrical inspection. They were quick to respond to my enquiry with a fair price, kept up good communication and I did not have to wait long for my booking. The electrician and apprentice were friendly, informed me of how they would conduct the works and got it done in a timely manner without making any mess/tidying up after themselves. Overall good service provided and I would recommend.

We recently had several sockets moved and some new ones put in, along with a few other small jobs. I have been very impressed with this company. They were able to send someone out to survey and do a quote the next day after we contacted them, and then the work was done the week following. The guys who came out were very polite and courteous, did a very tidy job and left no mess. Would not hesitate to use them again, or recommend to others. Great service.

I contacted K.F. Watson to review and upgrade my Fire & Heat Alarms. Keith surveyed the property advising me of the appropriate alarms required and their location. He also made me aware that some of the existing alarms were not up to regulation standard. I also required an additional mains socket to be installed. The installation/replacement of the 11 alarms and socket were completed within an hour and a half, the house was left tidy and clean The overall service Keith & Mark gave was exceptional. Job from start to finish was completed within a week.

I used this company to rewire my house, which is very large and old. They did a fantastic job, and were extremely helpful and friendly. At the other end of the scale, I recently needed a minor piece of wiring carried out. I called them around lunchtime and they sent someone the following morning to carry out a 10 minute job. I emailed the office to request a quote to install a wire/fused switch for a new shower, and to replace my fusebox. They responded promptly and sent round a surveyor the next day, who concisely explained exactly what work needed done. A quote was written for us on the same day, and they even recommended some plumbers that they had worked with to fit the shower itself. On the scheduled day, the workers showed up bang on time and completed their work in about 4 hours. They tidied up after themselves, tested all electrical outlets, and patched up the unavoidable decor damage to the best of their abilities. All documentation was emailed to us on the day. This is the second time Ive used K F Watson for electrical work. They fitted a change over switch linked to a 16a socket so that I can power home essentials with a generator during power cuts. Poor communication. Made me pay in advance before telling me property had failed the EICR. No other electrician I have ever used for EICR's (many) have ever operated this way.

I had an appointment just for the Electrician to view the issues I was having, and both were solved within 30 seconds. One issue was my own fault for not checking something first and the other I was told by the smart meter installer that my gas meter was missing an earth connection which the K F Watson person identified within seconds. The person was very knowledgeable and very kind. They didn’t charge me for the visit which was very nice of them. I will be using them in the future for any of my electrician needs and recommend them to anyone else needing one.

K F Watson Electrical is an extremely slick and efficient outfit. In my experience, it's always been hard finding good, reliable tradesmen in Aberdeen. Many don't even respond to an enquiry. This is certainly not the case with K F Watson. We had a few odd jobs for them including replacing a cooker hood, installing new kitchen down lights, fitting a new mains connected smoke alarm as well as two new bathroom lights. The entire process was quick and faultless, from initial contact and quotation to installation earlier today, it took less than a week which included ordering our new bathroom lights. I am genuinely impressed and would not hesitate to recommend K F Watson Electrical to others.

From the minute I called, to the job being completed, everything went very smoothly. Frances understood what I needed and Andy and Connor turned up bang on time and after a short introduction to where everything was I left them to it. They did a cracking job and even took photos of the plugs behind the oven so I could understand what had been done. They also filled the hole from where the previous smoke detector had been. They rectified an issue with a light fitting which had been there for years, it goes to show how valuable an electrician is, these little problems can go unnoticed for years and cause fires or electric shocks. The job executed by K F Watson was very neat, without delays and perhaps taking the best option to avoid major visual disruption at home. We needed to install a cable from the main board, located inside the house to our patio area. When the electricians John and Louis arrived, John quickly suggested using a route that four other electricians from different companies said was not possible to do. John quickly “adjusted the plans” to accommodate the new plan and managed to firstly tick our preferred option and secondly minimise the visual impact the cable was going to have in the house. We are very happy and satisfied with the job done and we’ll be delighted to recommend K F Watson.
