I had a Stiebel Eltron ASHP and cylinder fitted. Coming from a technical background I do have a understanding of these systems so I had the usual 3 quotes, Eco installer was the most expensive! But the others were clearly slap it in as cheap as possible to keep as close to the boiler upgrade grant as possible, remember the old saying "quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten" also Stiebel Eltron is a more expensive system. From the start Eco installer filled me with confidence and I could tell these were people I could work with. The installation Engineers took pride in getting the installation perfect....the pipework is a work of art and I could not have asked for more. Why only 4 stars.... Eco installer is 5 star + but stiebel technical was the let down when it came to a problem with the firmware, such a shame they don't understand there own product or listen to what the customer is saying when a simple Google search reveals it's a known problem.

Contacted Eco Installer for installation of solar panels with battery storage. The entire process was carried out in a friendly and professional manner. Suggestions that we made about the installation were taken into consideration and not dismissed. Our roof orientation is not optimal but Eco Installer came up with a design that gives us the best possible outcome. Overall very pleased with the end product, thanks Eco Installer.

Repeat customer here - once for an air-source heat pump and more recently for a battery storage system. The team were willing to go the extra mile and form a new relationship with the company I wanted to supply the battery, and went through the training required to become an accredited installer. Our situation was probably a bit more complicated than some in that we didn’t have space to put the outdoor heat pump unit directly outside our house, and our indoor space needed rearranging too. We also wanted to have some cooling ability from the system, to ease summer heatwaves. Eco Installer worked with us tirelessly to find a solution and took a great deal of time and care to look into our suggestions and put forward ideas of their own. The team who came to do the installation were quick, friendly and efficient – very easy to have around – and we were kept informed throughout about dates and timing. I contacted Becki as my heating kept getting an error message, Becki was so helpful and got Chris to FaceTime me and talk me through operating and restarting my heating system. He was very patient and explained everything so thoroughly that I was confident enough to restart the system when it failed by myself. Becki then followed up the next morning to see if all was well. I cannot thank them both enough and would definitely recommend this business, they went above and beyond. Terrific customer Service.

Over the past 18 months Eco Installer delivered a complete renovation of the heating and energy system in our house. They swapped an old gas boiler for an Ecodan 7.5kW air-source heat pump, installed a new hot water cylinder and high output radiators, Eddi hot water diverter, 7kw rooftop solar panel install, MyEnergi 10kWh house battery and inverter, and JK underfloor heating system. They delivered a high quality service and install at every stage. Despite the volume of work, they kept disruption to a minimum and completed the works to schedule, working alongside other projects in the house. Their team is knowledgable and responsive, and despite being an early adopter of the MyEnergi system they handled it all smoothly and were happy to discuss my questions and advise on the best approach. The system has worked perfectly since day one and the house now runs almost entirely off-grid throughout spring and summer, even whilst charging an electric car. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install a renewable energy system in their house.

An exceptional all round experience with Eco Installer starting with my initial service enquiry efficiently handled by Annette. On the day of the service visit Chris went out of his way to educate me about heat pumps which as a life long oil boiler user was definitely needed and appreciated! He also identified several areas where the operation of the heat pump could be improved for the future and left me feeling a great deal more confident about the system than I previously had been and ready for winter.

Our heatpump wasn’t working at all and we had two cold nights. After being let down massively (again) by another local company who installed the heatpump, we decided to call up Eco Installer to help us. The lady on the phone was kind, helpful and understanding. She put Chris in contact with us, and in less than two hours he was at our house (he had switched a job to ensure he got to us before the weekend). He was kind, professional, polite, extremely knowledgeable and got straight to the job. He very quickly worked out our issue (we had no error codes and it was not clear at all what was wrong) - he found a broken valve from his experience and knowledge on our type of heatpump. As it takes a while for a new one to be delivered, he managed to temporarily fix it so we wouldn’t be cold over the weekend. He took the time to explain to us other ways in which the system worked (which we really didn’t know or understand). Chris was extremely knowledgeable, clearly an expert on heat pumps and we have heating again! I’m So happy that we have found a company/engineer who we can trust, who hasn’t let us down, and who has fixed the issue with complete clarity. 10/10 I will ensure that i recommend Chris and this company to others with a heatpump (as we have been messed around by other engineers from different local companies recently). Eco Installers designed a heat pump system for my park home to deliver hot water, heating and cooling via fan radiators, all in a tight space - they worked patiently and without pressure on me to come up with the best solution for a very specific environment, and Chris is exceptional in dealing with follow-up issues and queries. They are always on hand to fine-tune until things are right.

Eco Installers have delivered an impressive heat pump installation in our listed home. Their initial survey was very thorough and built the confidence we needed to work with them for what was a difficult retrofit project. The challenges of designing our installation required access and knowledge to a wide range of alternative solutions - which was no problem for them. The team installing the system were hard working, courteous and tidy and were capable of solving the inevitable challenges of a complex project. They presented solutions which, whilst not easy to implement, were aligned with our our wish to ensure the character of the house was maintained. I am confident in recommending them.

I inherited a really useful rainwater harvester system that the average plumber or insurance service won't touch with a barge pole when it comes to maintenance and/or repair work. I found Eco Installer after a recommendation when my system started playing up after 12 years of constant use. The office staff are really good; helpful and professional. They sent Chris out to assess and repair my system, much to my immense relief. Chris's skill set is formidable; he really knows what he's doing. Anything from electrics, to basic plumbing to pump replacement and filter checks. He knew exactly how the system functions from gutter inflow to tank to filters and pumps. I doubt that anything about harvester systems would baffle him. Definitely worth giving Eco Installers a call if your rainwater harvester system is playing up. Highly recommended.

We used Eco Installer for the first service of our heat pump which was installed as part of a new build last April. Sharon was excellent in outlining what the service would include/booking and Chris arrived on time and ready to work. The first thing he asked was if we had any issues during the first year, and, as there had been some problems, he talked us through solutions and made adjustments accordingly. He also checked the relevant manifold to ensure the flow rates were balanced. Both Chris and Sharon were polite, communicative, friendly, efficient and professional. We will use Eco Installer going forward for annual services, and, while we hope there will be no need, any necessary call out.

It can be tricky to know who to trust esp in the clean energy world where there are a few dodgy companies about. These folks were recommended and so glad they were, they have been an absolute joy to work with. Very knowledgeable, stepped into our very complicated, half-finished ground-source job and took the time to understand what was needed and executed it brilliantly. Always friendly and willing to help and the quality of the work is next to none. Very happy to give 5 stars.

Eco Installer provided us with an air source heat pump and solar panels for our Victorian semi-detached house. The work was carried out as part of a major retrofit that included extensive insulation and installation of underfloor heating. The team from Eco Installer faced some technical challenges owing to the age and layout of our house, but their work was carried out professionally and efficiently. Both technical and administrative teams were a pleasure to work with throughout. Almost 4 months on from moving back into our house, we can say that the project has been a great success. We would recommend the team at Eco Installer without hesitation.

Full marks to service manager Chris Turner, who quickly detected the fault on our ground source heat pump, and then didn't just go the extra mile, but about 20+, making a round trip back to the office to collect a replacement part—so we were up and running again the same day. Edit: The specified & installed heat pump is twice the size it needs to be so it cycles unless it's below 3C outside. The survey (£270) must have grossly overestimated the heat loss for the house. As well as being less efficient, the oversized unit also cost £2000 more than the appropriate size model. It's a shame because the install work itself was exemplary. I will update when this is resolved. Original review: Brilliant job! These guys take pride in their work and take the time to do things properly. They did the proper calculations before designing the heat pump system and took great care with the install. Very friendly people in the office and doing the fitting. Thanks to the whole team!

Last Friday I had my Air Source heating system serviced by Eco Installers and Services. I was very impressed by the engineer(Chris) who attended. He was very knowledgeable and quickly assessed the status of the system and made several improvement suggestions and showed me how I could install the MELCloud monitoring and control system on my iPad. My Air Source heating system was a bit of a black box, I now feel I can monitor the system and if something went wrong with it, I would be confident that Eco Installers could identify the problem and fix it.

My first attempt to replace an ageing gas boiler with an ASHP was with a national company and ended in frustration. Eco Installer were able to come up with solutions to the (fairly minor) challenges and installation was completed efficiently by a friendly team. As we head for mid-winter, the system is working well for heating and hot water.

My parents heat pump system gave up just as the weather turned cold. Big eye watering job, but needed replacing ASAP. Turnaround time couldn't have been quicker, the engineers who did the install were all sound and did a tidy professional job. I'm still blown away by the lagging.. Annual Service and Installation of new Wireless Thermostat Highly recommended. Chris Turner was very professional and clearly highly experienced. He was able to complete the service, upgrade the thermostat and provide some further guidance on the most economical way to run the system. Whist eco Installers do not offer a Service Plan, they do require payment up front for their services so please be aware of this. The availability of an Annual Service Plan would be welcomed addition to their services.

After 4 years with different heating engineers trying to rectify our heating problems, we have at long last found a company who understands the Air Source heating system. Chris & Shane were very professional & talked us through the situation as they worked. We found them very polite & very dog friendly. They rectified the problems very quickly & left us with a working system & recommendations We have woke up after many years with proper heat in our house. We absolutely highly recommended Eco Installer & Services Ltd.

This company have helped us out twice recently with our ASHP, at short notice (including just before christmas in the cold-snap last winter) when our actual installers simply could not be bothered. I am delighted to learn that they now offer annual services too, so we'll be switching over to them immediately. They'll definitely be the first people I call when I have future installation work!

Eco Installer designed and installed an air source heat pump, solar PV and battery storage system for us to replace our oil fired central heating. We were really pleased with all aspects of the work from the initial survey and design, the quality of the recommended components and the quality of the installation. The project management to coordinate the deliveries and different trades required at each stage was excellent. The air source heat pump install involved some new radiators and a move of the water cyclinder. The installers did a great job here ensuring we were left with hot water at the end of each day and leaving us in a very tidy state for what was a relatively significant amount of work. The was a delay on the supply of solar panels (out of Eco Installers control due to supply chain issues) but we were kept informed throughout. We’re really pleased with the experience of the air source heat pump - the model fitted is quiet, easy to live with and keeps the house warm. Even without the solar PV the running costs were no more than we were paying for oil, and for the first week with the solar and battery storage in place we’ve been within a few pence of being self-sufficient for energy - a testament to the survey and design work done at the outset.

The whole experience has been excellent from the first moment. We received multiple options with regards to the installation along with a very detailed quote. The team was always very professional and never missed a deadline. A shout-out to Becky and Sharon for always answering my questions and keeping everything on track.

John and his team installed an air source heat pump system for us in September 2022. The whole process from surveying for a quote to the installation and after service was conducted very professionally. The office were always quick to respond and help and are friendly. We would fully recommend Eco Installer anytime. The only thing we would suggest is that John has a few singing lessons but very entertaining never the less!!

Eco Installer have just fitted a Mitsubishi air pump system to our house and we are delighted with the equipment and their work. The heat pump was installed on our patio with the plant within our garage. The office staff and engineers were a pleasure to work with offering polite and professional service at all times. The installation is very neat looking, and all achieved with a minimum of fuss or inconvenience. My biggest praise for the company would be their communications. If they said it was going to happen - it happened, and at the timescale provided. We did not help matters by contracting Covid 19 during the final phase of commisoning. Our predicament was treated sympathetically, and the work delayed until our recovery. Having a heating system installed in the July heatwave means we haven't yet been able to test the equipment out in anger, but I have every confidence in the quality of the equipment and workmanship of the installation. I was surpised, however, that the price given did not include insulation of all the pipework within our garage. However, this was a simple and cheap diy excercise, and is now finished. That does not distract from our overall gratitude and praise of Eco Installer for their work in supplying and fitting our heatpump system. November 2022 addition: The system works perfectly.

EcoInstaller did a great job on our domestic heating system update - taking out an old oil-fired boiler, and replacing with an air-sourced heat pump. They gave us excellent information and updates from start to finish, and were a joy to deal with. I have mentioned them to friends and colleagues, and am happy to recommend EcoInstaller.

I used Eco for an in roof solar panel install along with a battery back up for surplus. I chose them as they had already done some work on a similar house in my area and I really liked the way it looked. I found them to be very responsive to any questions I had. Due to weather there were a few delays and they kept me upto date with what was happening. Once the install began I felt they went out of their way to finish it in the shortest amount of time possible to accomodate me as I had originally planned a large party to take advantage of the weather and I wanted the job done and the scaffholding removed. At all times I felt the contractors used were polite and professional. The install looks smart, works well and other than the upfront cost of the project (solar installs are increasing in price due to demand as at the time of writing we are seeing record energy prices) I'm delighted, and I still feel like I got value for money. I would highly recommend this company and their services to anyone thinking of getting a solar install done.

Excellent service! Adam phoned to let me know he was on the way, he was very polite and explained exactly what he was doing while replacing the broken time-clock for our underfloor heating. He set up the timings on the clock and checked to make sure the system was working, and also explained a bit more about how our system worked. Certainly won't hesitate to use them again.

I first contacted Eco Installer regarding the retrofit installation of an Air Source Heat pump in place of an electric central heating system in Summer 2020 which I've had installed during April 2021. Throughout the process I have found the whole team that I have been fortunate enough to deal with have each been a pleasure to deal with, each professional and knowledgeable in their respective areas of their process.They arrived on time each day during install and after the first day I had no concerns leaving them in my home each day when I went out to work. Having used Eco-Installer in my role as an architect and during my own self build project, I can not praise Eco-Installer highly enough, both for their technical expertise, attention to detail, and general willingness to help. I find myself regularly recommending them to our clients - this is testament to the amount of confidence I have in their abilities.

It would be no stars I'm afraid, except one star seems to be the minimum. I asked for a quote, agreed to their time and date for the site visit, took the day off work and waited - they didn't show up. They claimed to have left a voicemail cancelling - they hadn't. Too many companies do this too often because they don't respect their customers. If you book them, you'll encourage them to do it again. If you tolerate this, your chimney will (won't) be next.
