P & H Electrical Solutions Ltd completed outside lighting work for one customer on time and at the agreed price, and that customer could not fault the job. Another customer had used the firm successfully before, but on a later project reported follow-up visits to fix problems, work that EDF had to sort out when connecting the meter, and shoddy and sometimes unsafe work including faulty equipment and missing circuit protection. That customer also said the firm was poor at returning calls and answering texts and emails, and advised avoiding it for light commercial and domestic work.

2 years ago this company did an excellent job for me. Economic too. Original review was 5* (now deleted). So I decided to use them for my latest project. Every time they turned up I was left with problems that required follow up visits to rectify. Finally, EDF had to sort out the stuff they had either not done or had done badly when they came to connect their meter. Shoddy and sometimes unsafe work, faulty equipment, missing circuit protection (RCDs) etc.. Avoid especially for light commercial and domestic work. Might be fine for larger projects but no personal experience of this. Also not good at communications such as simply returning your calls or answering texts and emails. Lucky to get 2 stars !
