Heron Electrical Ltd

I have a battery installed by Heron in the last few weeks and they have been brilliant, right through the process from initial enquiry to supplying the certification, 10/10 from me.

I would just like to give a brief but very positive review for Heron Electrical regarding my recent Battery and Inverter Installation. The Installation process was well explained and carried out with a minimum of disruption to my day. All queries that I had along the way were handled quickly and clearly (Shout-out to Sue Morris). Mike Walsh.

I had a 10 kw solar panel system fitted with a Tesla PW3 and Zappi charger. The team completed my install in 2 days as scheduled. They were all fantastic and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I had no issues with the install which was very clean and tidy install and the system has been working perfectly. I would definatley recommend them when getting a solar install. They very helpfully came out prior to the install upon request and talked through helpfully the cable run so that I could prepare and clear out the area they needed as my meter tails are under my stairs in the middle of the house. This was very helpful and didn't mean a mad dash last minute. During the install the team was very helpful in communicating when the power would go off which was needed give we work from home and they did so for a short period of 30/45 minutes. My install was at the beginning of February so that I could see how it worked for a period before I gave a honest review as I knew how helpful this was for me when going through the process. I went through EGG Cracking Energy for the equipment and pre install arrangement who outsourced to Heron, which I was worried due to Internet concerns of outsourced work, however I had a very good experience which I'm grateful for. Thank you to Kieran and the team who were fantastic and I have no hesitation in giving them 5* rating.

I had an excellent experience with Tom and Alex for my electrical and solar installation! Tom was fantastic with the electrical work, handling everything with precision and care. He made sure everything was up to code and explained the process thoroughly. Alex, who took care of the solar installation, was equally impressive. He was highly skilled and ensured my solar system was set up for maximum efficiency. Both were incredibly professional, punctual, and friendly. The whole process was smooth, and I’m already seeing the benefits of my new setup. I highly recommend Tom and Alex for any electrical or solar needs!

Great service by all the team from start to finish. Installation completed in a professional and unobtrusive way. We opted for a local business and did not regret our decision.

First service of PV system installed by another provider. Easy to book via Hayley in the office. Service was expertly carried out by Harry who answered all my questions and highlighted a minor issue. Would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation in using Heron Electrical again. Thank you

Tom from Heron completed the electrical work for our solar and battery install. He was great. The position of our fuse board is a tricky one and he had a job to chase cables through the house between all the different components. Tom carefully explained the options to me and answered any questions I had. He worked really hard across two days and has done an excellent job. Overall though, he just a really great guy - polite, friendly, happy to answer questions, he cleaned up after himself etc. Would highly recommend.

We had solar panels fitted to our house today, and the fitters Kieron and Carl were amazing. They were professional, friendly, and understanding. Everything was explained, and carried out very with great care, their work is immaculate. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these Guys.

A first-class experience from start to finish. Heron were very helpful during the planning stages and the installation itself was a masterclass in efficiency, carried out by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We would strongly recommend this company to anyone planning a solar installation.

awful.

We recently had Heron Electrical install our third Tesla Powerwall 2 and upgrade our property to a three-phase electrical setup. Dave, Ben, and their team were fantastic, working extremely hard and delivering excellent results. Despite some unexpected challenges, they completed the project on time and within budget. The pricing was fair, and the quality of work is top-notch. If you're looking for batteries, solar PV, whether for domestic or commercial use, we highly recommend Heron Electrical. We couldn't be happier with their service!

New PV and Batt System From Ben first visiting to survey our property and quote to the installation it was a pleasure to deal with Heron. Sue in the office was responsive and very supportive ensuring all the associated applications were completed. The installation team were courteous and professional and ensured the installation was efficient and to a high standard. A very good company to deal with…

I have recently had an installation of 18x solar panels with 13.5kWh Givenergy AIO & Gateway and had an excellent experience with Heron Electrical. From initial enquiry the process was extremely smooth, Ben came out to survey the requirements and discuss/explain the benefits of different systems and set ups with honest advice and followed up with a detailed proposal for the two options we discussed. Sue kept me informed regularly of the status of my application to gain approval from the DNO for the system to be installed (which Heron took care of). The approval was obtained and installation commenced on the exact date provided right at the start of the process. The installation team led by Tom were hard working, knowledgeable and clearly took pride in their work, leaving it neat and tidy afterwards. I would not hesitate to recommend Heron Electrical.

Great team, good competitive pricing, professional, and fixed issues left by previous installer also. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Service , would highly recommend, workers are professional and efficient

Heron Electrical have just installed solar panels and batteries for us. We have had exceptional service from start to finish. All communication has been great and questions answered quickly - thanks Sue and Ben. Despite us being a fair distance away everyone from the Surveyor to the Scaffolder to the Installers arrived when they said they would. The team installing did so in horrendous rain and wind. They also had a very long day but still remained professional. All paperwork received within an hour of the job being finished. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heron Electrical and their teams.

The team have done a great job on a complex EV charger installation and getting it working and talking to the rest of the solar system 👍🏻

We used Heron for solar and battery installation. They're a family firm and they really put in the extra effort during and after it was installed to make sure everything was working. It took a day and a half to install. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. Another family member used the same firm and had the same experience, as have others in our local community. At our current rate, we will have paid off the investment in 3-4 years.

Ben & the team are knowledgeable, helpful and go the extra mile to make sure that they deliver what they said they would. Very happy, many thanks.

The Guys at Heron installed a new roof on our property with inroof Solar and Powerwall storage. Great work from beginning to end.

Amazing customer service from Heron Electrical! We recently had a Tesla wall charger fitted at our property and the entire installation went incredibly smoothly. From the engineer arriving early to explaining every step of the install clearly, everything went so much better than we could have hoped for. The price for the install was also the best out there and much lower than other EV charger installers. Very highly-recommended!

Highly recommended - great people, great company. Dave and Ben worked with me from the first visit to final handover achieving the best for my specific requirements. Clear pricing, knowledgeable staff, tidy install and good communication with all necessary paperwork received in a timely fashion. I'll be getting them back in the new year to add some more panels once our kitchen extension roof is done. Install: new consumer unit, 6kW SolarEdge inverter, 1x Tesla PowerWall and Gateway, 18x TRINA 415w panels with Optimisers (for moving shading) & Myenergi Eddi. Location: Riccall, N.Yorks. Date: Aug 2023.

Very professional and reliable installers, I had been looking for such a company for around 12 months and this company is excellent. There are many dubious companies out there so it was reassuring to have found Heron. Can't recommend them more highly. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, in this case we got everything and more!

Amazing!! Courteous and friendly service. Good service and follow up. Good prices. If you're thinking of solar panels, give Heron a call, why wouldn't you? I'm pleased I did. I'm saving money already

I'm thrilled to share my fantastic experience with Heron Electrical! They did an outstanding job installing my solar panels, batteries and EV charger. The entire process was smooth, and the team demonstrated professionalism and expertise. They patiently addressed all my queries, ensuring I was well-informed throughout. Thanks to their excellent work, my energy bills will be decreased, and I now enjoy the benefits of clean, renewable energy. I highly recommend Heron Electrical to anyone considering solar solutions. Their service is truly exceptional! ⚡️🌞

I can not recommend this company enough. Got a full solar setup from Heron. And the whole experience has been amazing. From start to finish.

Recently had solar panels & batteries fitted by Heron. From first contact to install to post install follow up, the service & communication has been excellent. Thoroughly recommend. David of Harrogate

Great company fantastic communication throughout, job finished within the tine frame specified would recommend this company to everyone couldn't be happier.

One of the best experiences with any trade I’ve ever had! From the quote, to booking in the installation, to completing a really neat and tidy job and generally just being a genuine bunch, through to timely MCS reg papers and handover documents. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Thanks so much Ben and the team at Heron for our new solar panels! It was a difficult project, as our house can only be described as weird and wonky, but you somehow managed to install them beautifully. I appreciated the communication throughout the install, even when things weren't quite going to plan (no fault of Heron, purely our dodgy roof and wiring). I'd recommend Heron for anyone considering solar panel installation.

Very Good Job. Great communication. Friendly. Professional. Prompt. Some minor problems regarding the details (scaffolding) of the solar panel/zappi install. Still, very happy with the installation and with the Heron Electrical team overall. Recommended.

Heron Electrical have been very professional since the first time I approached them. Great communication, quick responses and clear quotes without hidden costs. Short lead-time and flexible in terms of date. The install team was also professional, well dressed, clean and tidy work. They answered all questions I had. Highly recommended,

David, Ben Rachael and the team were excellent from start to finish. David and Ben called at the house to carry out a survey and to provide us with a guide price for our installation. Rachael then provide us with a complete quote and was happy to answer any questions we had about the installation. We end up deciding on 10 x 400w panels, a 3.6Kw inverter and 2 x 3.2Kwh batteries. The installation was completed and up and running within the day. The installation team were polite, hard working and made sure that they cleaned up after themselves before they left. I can't recommend this company enough, they were professional, extremely knowledgeable and their quote was comparable to other companies providing the same equipment. Thanks everybody at Heron Electrical!

Would highly recommend Heron for your solar panel project. Dave was supportive and informative from initial enquiry, particularly with all the questions and possibilities I had. Installation was professional and the installers polite and tidy. After sales support has been great, particularly in providing advice on power generation and adding additional batteries. 100% recommend

After seeking a few different quotes we decided to move forward with Heron and couldn't be more delighted. Their customer service is excellent and the installation team were experienced, professional and extremely helpful. They installed 13 Solar Panels, two batteries and a Solaskirt. I would recommend them to anyone in the area seeking a Solar Panel solution.

Friends recommended other installers, but I went with Heron and I am glad I did. There was no sales pressure and both David and Rachael were very approachable and helpful before and after I agreed to Heron installing my solar system (16 panels, inverter and 3 batteries). The installation took place on the day agreed and from my point of view hassle free. All the required paperwork was registered with Northern Power and my energy supplier and within 12 days I was able to apply to export electricity generated to the grid. I have no hesitation in recommending Heron Electric for solar system installation.

Just had an installation by this company I must say what a great bunch of guys I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company on time hard working a special thanks to Steve and Joe you really couldn’t go wrong using these guys.

Fantastic company. Great communication from friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would highly recommend Heron to anyone looking into home renewable energy.

Solar PV, Battery and Eddi Installation: Excellent and knowledgeable team from start to finish. Tidy, prompt and efficient Always available to answer questions and reassured by their professionalism Thank you David, Ben, Rachael and team

Was recommended Heron Electrical for a solar panel installation by a solicitor I was dealing with on another matter. The whole process was very good, from a survey to getting the quote and then the installation, which was done in a timely and efficient manner. The administrative side was very good and they were very responsive to queries. No hesitation in recommending them and will use Heron again for additional battery installation.

This is a really good company! From Start to finish they were professional and organised and did exactly what they said they were going to do, exactly when the said they were going to do it. All the people that I came into contact with (office staff, solar panel installers, scaffolders and electrician) were really friendly and informative. I would highly recommend them.

These guys are the bees knees! From first speaking to them through to final commissioning they were knowledgeable friendly and polite. Explaining the details was never too much trouble. Arrived exactly as agreed, braved nasty weather and just got on with it. An ideal contractor in every way.

Excellent service from start to finish. They turned up when they said they would, carried out the work as agreed and left everything clean and tidy. The team were all polite and friendly. The communications before, during and after were quick and efficient. I would highly recommend Heron Electricals for any solar panel work.

What an unexpected and great experience from start to finish. Ben and Dave knew what they were talking about and their team came and fitted everything in one day. We had 18 solar panels fitted with three 3.2 kwh batteries. It's all working fine and I cannot praise Heron Electrical highly enough. Keep up the good work.

We are really happy with the in-roof solar panel and battery installation at our property. Ben and the team delivered on time at a fair price and clearly explained the solar/battery installation and likely benefits. I would recommend them for others looking for a similar system.

The guys were great. Fitted around our kitchen installers, great comms from them, friendly and honest. Would deffo recommend. Even took time on a Saturday to fix an issue with our old light configuration that’s been annoying us for months! 👍

Dave and his team have installed multiple solar PV and battery storage systems for me. Great work nice people

Heron have been brilliant working with us on multiple solar and battery installations. Extremely professional, hardworking and reliable.

Great service from Ben, very knowledgeable and professional Would highly recommend
