Eastbourne Electrical LLP

We wanted to change an old outdoor porch light for a new one. The whole experience with Eastbourne Electrical from start to finish was superb. Craig the manager got back to me quickly and was most helpful and friendly and when a slot opened up a day earlier than our scheduled appointment, he did not hesitate to let us know if we would like an earlier visit. Mike, our electrician, was bang on time and was, again, excellent, super helpful and did a fantastic job for us. He even went to the trouble of taking the rubbish away with him, which was great given that it was effectively OUR rubbish (i.e. the old light and the packaging for our new one). All at a very good price too! Cannot recommend Eastbourne Electrical highly enough and we will certainly use them again if we need any more works done. Thank you very much. Edit: We have now had to replace the downlights in our bathroom, they all failed at the same time, and so I contacted Craig again. He was as helpful and courteous as ever. Chris came to do the job yesterday, a really nice bloke, bang on time, and he did a fantastic job. Once again the experience with Eastbourne Electrical was excellent from start to finish. We asked Chris Wilson for advice about a change of isolator switch for our gas boiler as we have an elderly relative living with us who kept switching it off thinking it was a light switch. Chris recommended a key operated isolator switch to replace the old one . It was fitted very promptly, the engineer was efficient and understanding . Great service all round , would highly recommend this company.

I note there are no reviews from domestic users but I feel compelled to do so as I didn't have a good experience I was recently recommended this company by a surveyor who worked with them - as a newly retired single lady and to the area I was initially pleased to have a recommended company I found the project chaotic and lengthy and itemised bills were not the norm and had to be requested repeatedly Some of the employees were hard working and productive others not so spending long times on their phones At the end when I quibbled the final bill due to items on original estimate not being done as were not necessary / required and no itemised bills there seemed no opportunity to negotiate away from their figure despite inviting them back to see the issue and repeating my concerns They did not appear to see a working relationship as high priority and I am Left thinking they may be better working in commercial projects than domestic Very poor customer service despite being a large project so would never consider them or recommending them going forward Really disappointing that they didn't listen or hear my concerns so we just went round in circles which was stressful and I'd find it hard to recommend them although some of the workforce were professional and very good at customer service and their job
