Clan Electrical Partnership

I've used Clan Electrical a number of times for different electrical jobs (replacing gas hob with ceramic one, fitting new RCD box, replacing a cable that had been damaged) and they are fantastic. Eilidh provides good communication re quoting and fitting and Colin is a fantastic electrician. Would definitely recommend.

Totally recommend these guys. Used them for years. Nothing is too much bother. Very professional. Colin knows his stuff and always a call away. Always finds a solution to a problem. Eilidh runs the ship outstandingly and like Colin nothing is an issue. Thank you guys xx

A fantastic company to work with, very good communication and professional service. Gave me a very reasonable estimate, which they actually billed less than. Also pointed out and fixed a pre-existing issue that could have been potentially dangerous, at no extra charge.

Best electrician we have had, used for cooker fan and internal air fan installations. Responsive to our inital enquiries, very detailed in making sure we picked out the right items, and worked non stop while here. The care taken not to damage our bathroom tiles was really appreciated - the work was flawless with no surprises.

Excellent work from start to finish and fantastic customer service too. Can’t recommend this company highly enough. Will definitely use their services in the future.

I cannot thank and recommend Eilidh and Colin enough for the proffessional approach to my EICR test on my rental property. Clan Electrical were the 3rd Electricians in my property and the only Company that completed the job correctly to allow me to gain my Landlord Registration number. Top class friendly service. I certainly won't use anyone else now. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Simply great. Colin, Eilidh and MacKenzie are brilliant. We had a large renovation project and they were very accommodating with us. All work is done to a high standard and all costs clearly communicated. With us sourcing some of the items needed, and Clan supplying the ones they can get cheaper. All certificates supplied quickly. Will definitely be using for any projects in the future.

Great service from start to finish. We were unfortunate enough to have to have our whole house rewired, but Eilidh, Colin and Mac made it a seamless stress-free project from start to finish. Would highly recommend. Thank you again.

Excellent. Attended at short notice to fit a double socket for me and an electrical check. Very professional with great communication. Would recommend using Colin for any electrical work. Eilidh was first class also in being able to fit me in. Thank you.

Really good communication from Eilidh at Clan HQ and thoroughly professional and pleasant service from Colin and Mackenzie over two visits in the last couple of months. I felt costs were very reasonable and we'll definitely approach Clan again for future electrical work. Highly recommended.

Im not one to write reviews usually but I had such a positive experience with Clan Electrical. It turned out I didn’t need the work done that I thought I did. But the service was incredibly friendly, understanding and helpful despite this (it was my mistake). All my interactions with booking an appointment, emails and the visit itself were spot on. I immediately got much friendlier vibes and fairer pricing than the other local company I contacted. A kind and professional company I’d trust for any work I need in the future for sure.

Brilliant from start to finish! Eilidh gave us a clear breakdown of costs and Colin did a fantastic job installing 4 light fittings and changing our light switches/plug sockets. They are both so helpful and professional. Will definitely be our go-to for any electrical work!

Eilidh and Colin were brilliant from start to finish. Communication was really quick and very clear, they stuck to the dates and times that were agreed and the work was done to a high standard. We are very pleased and would definitely use them again!

Clan recently helped us when we had a fault with our electrics. Great to deal with, turned up when they said they would and got everything going again swiftly. Left the area clean and tidy after completing the work. Very reasonable pricing as well, would not hesitate to recommend or use again!

These guys are absolutely stonking brilliant. I wouldn't go anywhere else for electrics.

Both Colin and Eilidh are friendly, capable, efficient and helpful. I had to have a 15 year old wetroom conversation’s electrics checked, brought up to today’s electrical standards and safety certified. Even though the job involved sourcing a couple of non-standard components (and a return visit to fit them), it was all done quickly and with no hassle or mess. Excellent!

Great service from Eilidh arranging and Colin carrying out assessment of work and also completing job of replacing downlights and air vent in bathroom and shower room. Highly recommended.

Very very happy with Colin - arrived when we had arranged he would, and did a really good job.

Clan electrical done a few jobs for me this summer: they installed and rewired a new shower, installed a new fuse box and corrected other electrical problems noted on a recent eicr carried out on my property. Eilidh and Colin were very thorough in reviewing the report and advising me what was required to get my house up to standard. I'm very grateful for the work they done, and I would recommend them to anyone requiring electrical work. Thanks again!

Can’t recommend Clan Electrical highly enough. From first point of contact, Eilidh was very quick to reply and provide clear information on estimates and availability. Then on the day, Colin did a fantastic job of installing 2 LED mirrors and a light fitting. Really happy with the work and he left the place very tidy too. Thanks so much.

Asked for my shower to be replaced. Was advised to have surge protection added. I could’ve had a single surge protector added just for the shower or a new fuse box that would surge protect the whole house. I was given various quotes for various sizes of fuse boxes. A price was agreed and I was given a choice of dates, none of which suited due to me going away and I said I’d get back to them. I received a call with a date as there was a “wee window of opportunity”. I took this and I’m pleased to say the work was carried out efficiently and very cleanly and for the price agreed. A local company and one I would highly recommend

We recently had an electric vehicle charger installed at our property by Colin from Clan Electrical. The installation presented a challenge that involved routing new cables through the building and under the upstairs floorboards. The Clan Electrical team completed this complex task with remarkable speed, precision, and cleanliness. What stood out most, however, was the exceptional communication from Colin and Eilidh. They were friendly and personable and from quote to installation they kept us consistently informed and updated. They exhibited an open, honest, and refreshingly straightforward approach that eliminated any stress or uncertainty on our part. Their no-nonsense style was very much appreciated, ensuring that we were never in the dark about any aspect of the job. This level of service and transparency is a rare find, and it has left a lasting impression on us. Based on this experience, we would not hesitate to recommend Clan Electrical to others. Their professionalism and diligence are commendable, and we will definitely consider hiring them again for future electrical needs.

Delighted to have found this trustworthy electrician. The work was carried out perfectly and completed much sooner than we expected. Colin and Eilidh were a pleasure to communicate with and we will definitely use them again/recommend them to anyone.

I was recommended to use Clan Electrical by a friend. From my initial enquiry to getting a quote and having the work carried out, it was a smooth and easy process. Colin and MacKenzie managed to troubleshoot and fix my faulty deck lights. Install 8x Weatherproof Soffit LED Lights and install a new Video Doorbell. Every job was completed to a great standard and to a good cost. I'd happily recommend them now myself.

If your not using Clan Electrical then more fool you. Very polite and organised. Happy to do the little jobs. Great price. Turn up on time. My go to electrics going forward.

Colin has completed two small jobs for me recently. Excellent service and lovely people to deal with. Frank

Really impressed with the service Colin and Eilidh have given us. Super friendly, well organised, kept us updated, reasonably priced, set our expectations. We’ve organised more work too 😊 would highly recommend.

Fantastic service! Would highly recommend. Always goes above and beyond to help.

Colin and Eilidh provided advice and then completed the supply and fit of a new large domestic distribution board to accommodate Solar Panels, Battery Storage, Air Source Heat Pump, Car EV Charger, Generator Backup, and Home Security System in addition to all normal domestic requirements. The work was done on the agreed date/time efficiently and tidily. Everything was left fully operational and rubbish cleared and boxed up for disposal. A good, tidy job from a great trader. Have used Clan before, and will definitely be using them again whenever we need any electrical work.

Great customer service. Quote is fully itemised so you know exactly what you're paying for. Clear, transparent, helpful, punctual and professional. Can't ask for anything more.

Many thanks for the prompt installation of our new towel radiator. Always a reliable firm, they provide advice and support on solutions and install/repair in a timely efficient (and clean!) manner.

Excellent Professional Service, I had the EICR within hours of the work. Highly recommended. These guys are super professional and know what they are doing. Collin is a gentleman. Prices are great. No rip offs or hidden price fraud scams.

We called Colin and Eilidh now for three jobs, to recertify our home electrics, to install smoke alarms, and to replace a fuseboard. Every time, they have been kind and professional, and performed outstanding work. All work has been explained, and the property left in excellent order. They have explained and justified all costs, discussing them with us. Excellent communications before, during, and after the work, and they went the extra mile to perform the work in a timely manner. Highly recommended.

Wonderful service from start to finish. Big thank you to Colin & Eilidh competitive quote and well actions job fitting soffit lights. Nothing was to much trouble Evan though I had to call them back to change the installation date it was not a problem and they worked around us perfect. Will definitely use again.

Great, friendly service at a reasonable price. Responded quickly, turned up on time and completed jobs professionally. Will certainly use them again.

I've used Clan Electrical to change my consumer unit over and as they did a great job doing that, I booked Colin to fit 8 downlights in the living room, which were done in a couple of hours, well happy. Highly recommended.

Colin & Eilidh are a great team. Eilidh gave clear advice and info on phone & email. Perfect for a lay person like myself. Colin has now fitted a new fuse box, new extractor fan , outside cables/garage and switch relocation. Everything done exactly as advised and a good job done on all. Will definitely use again and happy to recommend.

Clan Electrical fitted an Andersen A2 electrical car charger at my property. Prior to the installation the communication was really good and they helped with the grant application and came and did an in-person survey for free. They arranged a date and time and were there within 5 mins of the agreed time, so no waiting around wondering if they are going to turn up. Colin worked diligently in pretty heavy rain to get the charger installed, and he made a neat job of the cabling. I would recommend.

Replaced faulty fire alarms at short notice and supplemented system in line with current legislation. Responded quickly, provided full quote up front, undertook work professionally. Colin and Eilidh were easy to deal with. Would definitely use again and have recommended to friends.

Excellent service - remedial works carried out to rental property. Kept informed every step of the way and provided with cost effective estimates and sound advice.

We recently had some outside lights fitted to our house and we were delighted with the efficient friendly service provided. Great quality workmanship. Would Highly recommend Colin and Eilidh for an electrical work required.

We really recommend Clan Electrical for their great service. We have booked a few work jobs with them and they are now our go to team!

My go-to people for anything electrical. Top notch in every way.

Clan went above and beyond for to fit us in for some fairly large work installing new storage heaters and new cabling runs for lighting. They helped us out over a very tricky time, juggling jobs to fit us in, as we were very let down by another Electrical Company who disappeared from the job after half a days work on Christmas week, leaving us without heating, and a substandard, unsafe job that needed redone from scratch. Colin took on a botched job and sorted us out efficiently and good naturally. A very complex cabling run for a new heater was done with the absolute minimum of fuss or mess. His workmanship and ethic is second to none. Credit also to his right-hand woman Eilidh who runs a tight ship with the planning, organising and keeping you informed along the way. Can’t speak highly enough of them. Easy to see how they are ‘Trusted Traders’. Well deserved accolade.

Had two outside security lights supplied and fitted, very good price and a high standard of work completed. Will be definitely using for future electrical works.

Amazing - the team of Eilidh and Colin are brilliant, Eilidh was the 1st person I spoke to and was immediately clear Eilidh is very knowledgeable, great customer service and makes you feel at home very quick. Colin was at my house 3 times and was on time every visit. Colin and Eilidh quote was very detailed and I appreciated when quote was sent to me it was clear the price would be worse case. On the day of the job, Colin as already stated arrived on time and completed the job as discussed. He tidied up as went along even though wasn't a tidy area to start with. Colin worked around our joiner for his final visit to complete the work, he was very professional throughout and joiner was also very impressed by his work and him as a person. I would recommend clan electrical to friends and family, they are both brilliant and that worse case quote was that so couldn't be happier.

Another great job done by Colin, as always professional, courteous and value for money. Would thoroughly recommend Clan Electrical.

Colin was prompt, friendly and professional. Diagnosed and fixed electrical issue with confidence. Would heartily recommend to anyone.

Would thoroughly recommend
