Recently had William Duncan fit an outside electrical box and double socket, right from the initial Phone call which was taken up by William who was on holiday abroad at the time through to Admin, Bill assessing the job, and the very pleasant electrical engineer who did the work, all were Very accommodating but best of all was the price, I have no hesitation in recommending this company and will use them again if required.

After a visit to quote it took two and a half weeks to receive a quote and I replied with a couple of questions which after 10 days have still not been addressed Therefore I told them I no longer had interest in them doing the work if this was their level of customer service

Very poor at returning Quote, Still waiting from December, that's 3 months now. Have phoned the office several times, to chase it up, Woman in office asks me to phone in again, Why do i have to? You do have my Email etc. Its now obvious to me, they dont want the job.

Billy has always carried out any job that I’ve ever needed, from ceiling light fittings, down-lighters, external lighting and more. In the busy month of December I again called on their help with fitting an outdoor double electrical plug socket primarily for Christmas lighting. A very competitive quote was emailed and accepted extremely quickly and Billy arranged to complete the job today (within 2 days of receiving the quote). This work went ahead despite the awful and dangerous weather. I’ve always been able to rely on this Billy and his company regardless of the size of job - they’re always on-hand to help! As I had been pleased with work done before, I contacted them about a faulty light in my kitchen and within a day they had upgraded system with more efficient and brighter lighting. It was explained to me clearly what the problem was and what the solutions were. I was then sent a detailed quote, at a fair price and the work was professionally completed to my satisfaction on the day of acceptance. Contacted William Duncan and received a response straight away. They came out really quickly to view the job and the quote was instant. The process to accept the quote and pay the invoice was flawless - all done online. The job was done to a very high standard with no mess. We were a bit worried as we had not long decorated with a new carpet but you would never have known anything had been done. Had a new kitchen fitted and needed RCD board upgrade at the same time. All the services were great - electrician, joiner, plumber & plasterer. Now have a lovely new kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble and the guys were all helpful & professional. Have always used this company for any electrical work as they come out promptly and do an excellent job. A highly professional and capable team. We were taking our property off gas, which meant isolating the gas supply and capping the old pipework within the house, and then the installation of a second 32A circuit to the kitchen for an induction hob. We decided to get a new consumer unit as well, to make sure that everything in the house was safe and up to spec. This was a bigger job than I'd imagined, especially as the new RCA unit then tripped with faults not previously found in the property. Billy himself was on the job, and quickly found the fault and fixed it, and then explained to me what was wrong. Overall we are very satisfied with the work that was carried out; the standard of finish and cleanliness was excellent, and the peace of mind from having a professional check over the house was well worth the cost of the job. I would recommend them to anyone for any domestic job.

Excellent service and very professional good price and high quality work

I had enquired about getting the doorbell push to operate again and was contacted by phone. Unfortunately, I had the phone on charge and when the person came to my door, I was outside and not heard the knock. However, they did leave me a voicemail and called them back. The person came back later as arranged to give me very good advice. They are going to get my quotes for prices ,soon, in order to carry out the job required. Very happy with this agreement.

A pleasure to deal with. Arrived, fitted 5 new USB socket outlets, moved the BT terminal and router, fitted dimmer switches, fitted new pendant light fitting, created a new spur socket outlet and left within the day with everything cleaned and tidied. I couldn't have asked for more.
