From first contact we found them thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. Their standard of work is very high, they have great attention to detail. The back office team, and the site teams are always happy to answer questions and explain things.

Just Brilliant! I had my systems installed last September, from start to finish Atlantic Renewables were great. They offered honest advice when agreeing the system - I had done my research but I must have tweaked it for weeks on end - they were always prompt to reply and nothing was an issue. Then came the installers - to emphases the attention to detail - the guys would walk to the front of the house and and stare at the panels to ensure alignment - honestly I couldn’t see an issue but they weren’t quite happy and went back to the roof to move things numerous times until they were happy! Cabling routing was done as I requested, always checking where and how I wanted it. Post the install, I received all my paperwork and was being paid to export to the grid without any issues. System has now been running for 9 months and super happy with it. But this is where a good installer really is worth paying for - after sales - during last winter I thought the battery was using more power that I had expected - I contacted Atlantic Renewables with my query - they quickly replied and explained what was going on!! Highly recommended! We chose Atlantic Renewables to install our solar PV system because of their professionalism, great reviews, and competitive pricing. A local firm that beat quotes from the big national energy companies — even the one that comes from the sea! 🐙 The team’s communication was excellent from start to finish, and installation day was impressive — three vans and a whole army of engineers installing the system. Our 4.7 kW system (10 Aiko 470 W Neostar 2S panels with a Solis 5 kW S6 inverter) has been running perfectly since September 25, generating 807 kWh as of February 26 despite a really gloomy Manchester winter! We also had a Hypervolt charger installed, which looks great — can’t wait to put it to use once we get an EV very soon! Big thanks to Jack, Billy, Natalie, Darly, Connor and everyone at Atlantic. I recently had solar panels and batteries installed on my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Best tradesmen we have ever had on our property. A very professional operation. The fitters were friendly and professional thought out the two days. Even the scaffolders (another company) were great. The installation of inverter & battery in the garage were neat and tidy, as were the panels on the roof. Quick support from the team via email when we had questions or issues. Otherwise we have been enjoying running the house and cars on sunshine. Recommended. Update 1. Atlantic returned to install a second battery which now means we can run our electric under floor heating in winter during the day on the night time tariff. Update 2. Had Atlantic back to install a new charger, Hypervolt Pro 3, and to ensure the charger does not pull from the batteries. As usual, a perfect, efficient and very tidy job carried out by Connor. Brilliant.

looked at several companies before deciding to go with Atlantic Renewables and we are very glad we did. whole process was smooth from start to finish from the initial consultation through to installation. even the scaffolding was put up and removed exactly when they said it would. Atlantic Renewables installed solar and battery storage for me a few months ago. In summary, they were brilliant: the design and survey process was clear and friendly - Billy and Jack took the time to explain options to customise the system, and work through all my questions. The install team, led by Conor, did and incredibly neat and professional job - the system looks and works great, and is a credit to their work. The logistics of the install was managed very effectively by Daryl. After installation, I had a few aftersales support queries and Atlantic have always been very happy to help. The scaffold was arranged and completed very neatly. On installation day, the team arrived exactly at the time agreed. After researching for a solar and battery system and getting a few quotes we finally went ahead with Atlantic Renewables. Our installation was 18x panels, Tesla powerwall 3, back up gateway with an Eddi solar diverter to heat our water. The quote was comparative with others we had, but we were impressed with the enthusiastic and professional approach with no hard sell or any pressure. We had all the help and advice we needed from the team. We only had one brief which was to install the system in a living space inside the house and to make thr install look as good as possible on the wall. The install was done better than expected with no wires being shown outside or inside the house. The work carried out took 2/3 days and we were really impressed with the whole team. They all knew what to do before hand and were respectful and professional throughout. They talked through their work and consulted us every step of the way. I definitely recommend Atlantic Renewables, they were very knowledgeable explained everything and replaced our inverter with a good quality product at a competitive price. The electrician who did the work was very polite and tidy and was an absolute credit to the company.

Having had our solar installed by another company, who not long after "disappeared", I contacted Atlantic to request a review of our installation as we didn't feel we were getting the benefits we should. One of Atlantic's guys came round, exactly when they said, and spent a few hours looking our system over. Had Solar, Battery and Car Charger installed. Very professional service from beginning to end. Work was a little delayed due to the very wet summer we've had, but the team at Atlantic put a lot of much appreciated effort into completing the work and removing the scaffolding before I left for my holiday (including working over the weekend). Everything is working as expected and we've already switched to a smart tariff thanks to Atlantic getting us the MCS and other documents over as soon as the job was finished. Highly recommend.

So pleased with the work that Atlantic Renewables carried out for us, they were extremely professional from start to finish and the end result looks great and works perfectly. We have had in-roof solar panels installed, plus batteries and an EV charger. There was no hard sell at outset, they listened to what we were looking for and designed a system to fit our needs perfectly. The install work itself was carried out over three days - the guys were all really approachable and very thorough in their work. Special shout-out for the guys who had to strip the roof tiles over two very hot days in preparation for the in-roof installation - thanks again! This company was recommended to us by a neighbour, who had used their services. Throughout the whole process, from the initial enquiry, to the completion of the job, they were extremely professional. Prior to installation, I asked numerous questions, which were all answered comprehensively, and without any pressure to sign-up. A home visit took place, and was followed up by a video conference. Their timeline for the scheduled work was accurate, and the workers themselves were very polite, tidy, and completed a very professional job. We are well pleased with the whole aspect of the work.

We were very keen to have solar fitted during the building of an extension. Did quite a bit of research trying to find a suitable company and decided on Atlantic Renewables. Glad we did. Other than a slight delay to the start of the installation, brought about by exceptionally cold weather, everything else went smoothly. The panels were fitted to a very high standard, as was the installation of the inverter and associated electrics. Will return to Atlantic Renewables when we're in a position to install a battery system. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this local company.

I thoroughly recommend Atlantic Renewables. They promptly responded to my enquiries ( 2 other enquiries to other firms were either not answered or took a long time). They did warn of a delay before the installation could begin ( as with everyone else). They patiently went through my various iterations with prompt replies to all my queries. The whole team were very professional, from the initial survey to the end of installation. Even the paperwork was promptly sent. The installation team were polite, efficient and very tidy, even clearing up at the end of the 1st day ( 2 day installation). Overall, an excellent job.

This is a long, overdue but well deserved review. I agree with other reviews that there is a bit of a wait from initial enquiry to actual installation but I guess there is such a high volume of enquiries/orders and there are only so many hours in the day. One of the reasons I chose this company was their approach was to provide me with all the information required and there was no "hard sell" involved. I was provided with various product information e.g. type of solar panel, battery type/size etc. which included details of pricing information. It then gives you the opportunity to have a look at rough costs before you start. You are given every opportunity to discuss the technical aspects before you make any decisions. Communication is great and on the day of installation, Jason and his team of four were amazing. They were very disciplined and worked well as a team. They were courteous, and left everything clean and tidy. Very professional. And finally.......even on a rainy day like today, the solar panels will still generate some power. If you can afford it, get a decent size battery and in the summer, you will only use a minimal amount of electricity from the National Grid. We made our initial enquries with Atlantic in April 2022, and interest in renewable energy was rapidly increasing due to the invasion of Ukraine. As a result it took until early November to finally get our system installed, due to availability of equipment, with demand hugely overwhelming supply, and the fact that they employ and train all their staff directly. We decided to wait however and we were glad we did, as come installation day everything went like clockwork and the whole system was up and running in a single day. Since then it's performed great and I hope to have many years of reliable service from it. I can definitely recommend Atlantic to anyone looking for renewable energy works in the Greater Manchester area. (Reading my review back it sounds like an advert, however I stand by everything I've said, they've been professional, courteous, transparent and helpful the whole way through and as my wife tells me, I am a picky customer!)

Atlantic Renewables was recommended to me by a neighbour, so I included them in my search for an installer. Obviously I chose them and here's why I am pleased I did. There communication was always excellent. They explained the whole installation process concisely They provided an installation timetable and stuck to it They told me at the beginning how much it would cost and the intervals at which they wanted paying 'On the job' they were quick, neat and very polite. Installation took just over a day I have subsequently recommended them to two more of my friends who were impressed with our installation.

I contacted Atlantic Renewables (AR) for an additional Givenergy 8.2 kWh battery for my solar/battery system. I was aware of a massive problem with deliveries of solar batteries. They warned me in June 2022 it could be some months before they could get me one, possibly as long as early 2023, but in mid-July, they advised an install date of potentially October 17th. I was due back from an overseas holiday on October 15th, so that fitted nicely, but I wasn't overly optimistic. So many postings on Facebook warned me of delay after delay after delay. But three days before my holiday, Mike Wiggan from AR contacted me to confirm the install was going ahead on the 17th. Whilst sipping a G&T by the villa pool, I received a call from the installations manager asking me for a few final details and was able to answer a few final questions, and it was all looking good. I was told to expect the engineers between 08:00 and 08:30 on the 17th, and could I please ensure the drive was clear so they could get the van close to the garage to enable them to manoeuvre the battery into the garage easily? I got up earlier than normal on the 17th, and moved the cars off the drive just before 08:00. I was just going back inside the house at exactly 08:00 when the AR van pulled up across the drive. Very punctual. The battery was fitted in less than 1½ hours and they were almost finished when they received a call about another job they were planning to return to later that day. The scaffolders had arrived to remove the scaffolding. "Did I mind if they nipped back to that job to do a five minute job? It might take them an hour or so to get back to me." I didn't mind. They were as good as their word and were back in less than an hour. They then finished my job within another thirty minutes. Then they called GivEnergy tech support, who confirmed they could see the additional battery was working, and GivEnergy started a commissioning and calibration process, and freed the installation engineers to go to their next job. Perfect. The engineers cleaned up, leaving a clean and tidy workplace. The next day an engineer popped back to check all of the work was as it should be and checked all of the cabling was as it should be. I couldn't be happier. Atlantic Renewables are highly recommended. The GivEnergy product was delivered on time. Worked first time. No messing about and no pushbacks. It's all working exactly as I hoped. I just need some more sunshine!

I found Atlantic renewables when I searched via internet. Called them and Mike was my first contact. As I am far away they wanted some photos etc. Mike explained every thing as I was new to the system. Then gave the details of panels, inverter & battery they use. I realised the solar panels they recommended were highly ranked and top performers. So I decided to accept. Then Jack came to do the survey. From planning to completion, the team were brilliant.The installation team Mark, Jason & Jamie did excellent work and very tidy job.People on my road came and get the contact details from me seeing how efficient they worked . I have no hesitation to recommend the team! All the paperwork and certificates have come through as promised in time. Above all if I ask any questions they will come back with answers quickly and explain it very well. If there is any delay Dean (Owner) will step in and you will get a reply. This is very important to me and I am very impressed.

Atlantic Renewals did a great job with our solar panels installation. Communications have been excellent, even though we had to wait a while due to the current high demand. Our options were laid out clearly so we could make an informed decision. Installation was carried out in a day because ours was a fairly simple install. Very professionally done. Would recommend.

From my very first contact with Atlantic Renewables, the company proved to be a very competent and professional company. I was given good advice from the company and decided to go with a 4kW solar system with a 7.4kWh battery set-up. Their communications were excellent and I was given regular updates and an eventual installation date. A few days prior to the installation, I was contacted by telephone to confirm the appointment and was advised that the team would arrive by 8:00am on the day of the installation. True to their word, the team, four in all, turned up promptly at 8:00am as arranged. All of the guys were very courteous and all very professional, the type of guys that you are comfortable to have in your house. Each of the team got to work on with their allotted tasks and the whole job was competed by 3:30pm! I was then given an overview of the work carried out along with the locations of the various pieces of equipment that had been installed, all of which had been done to a very high standard. During the installation, the team had worked in three areas of my house; the roof, the garage and inside the loft, all of which were left in a clean and tidy condition. With the monitoring application now installed on my mobile phone (can also be viewed on a PC) all I had to do now was wait for some sunshine to start generating some power to run the house and charge the batteries. However, living in Manchester in October, I guess I may have to wait some time! That said, the system does generate power and charge the batteries even when the sun is not out, it just becomes much more efficient in the sunshine. A couple of days after the installation, I checked the app on my phone to check the system and was delighted to see that we were drawing zero power from the grid, this was at a time when we had the washing machine on and the sun wasn’t out – the result speaks for itself. Atlantic Renewables gave good advice while coming up with a design to suit our relatively low usage and were clear and very accurate about the eventual date of install. The guys turned up when they said they would and were very friendly and professional. I'm very happy with the quality of workmanship and products used. Just praying for some late summer sun to make the most of my shiny new panels.

We've just had our installation for a solar PV system with battery storage completed, and a big thanks to the guys who installed and commissioned it. The team are very friendly, capable and tidy workers and have kept me in touch throughout. Great process from end to end. Chose Atlantic due to their understanding of my specific requirement instead of taking a generic approach. Communications were good for presales and multiple options provided with time to explain the differences. They were also the most cost effective from the companies I reviewed. Install was as planned, completed in one day with minimal disruption and super friendly installers. Would highly recommend.

These guys know their stuff... and they're in demand. It took 5 patient months from deposit through to install, but once all the equipment was ready the team got to work in some fierce June '22 sunshine. All the guys were polite, tidy and considerate. Special shout out to Mark and Billy. There were a few minor electrical gremlins but Jason got everything sorted and now I barely use any grid power at all, simply relying on PV and battery storage. The finished job looks stunning.

Had a solar and battery system installed last October by Jason after speaking with Dean. Cannot fault service from start to finish and the payback I am seeing given we have a zappi charger with electric car is fantastic. Excellent service from planning through installation and then after install support as we got to grips with the apps and managing the solar system. Offered a high quality integrated solar, battery and EV charging solution with great online monitoring to get the most out of the solar energy. During installation the fitters worked with our builder and roofer to ensure the system integrated with the roof well. Overall install was really neat and well done. Really happy and would recommend this company to anyone looking at solar systems.

Great little business. These guys were really well priced. We had them do our solar panels and are really happy. They offer a very customer focused service and offer loads of options. They don't do the hard sell which is really good and they definatley know their stuff. They answered any questions we had and offer great support after the installation has been done. I'm really happy I found a good local company to do my solar panels and would always choose these guys over any of the bigger companies.

Very satisfied with the work done by Atlantic Renewables which was a total of 10 solar panels to two sides of the roof of our semi detached property. At every stage communication and professional attitude were faultless. The team provided plenty of information and explained it to us thoroughly. Their project management was good regarding scaffolding and an additional roof repair which was needed. Despite awful weather they got the job done and we are now producing solar power which has exceeded expectations even on dull winter days.

Great outfit, completed an 80KW install on workshop roof in two phases with no fuss and job was really tidy. All work completed at height was well controlled and thoughtfully planned out. Our Solar Panels were installed absolutely plumb and square despite it being unlikely anybody was going to go up and check and the two Engineers made sure the whole install was fully checked and commissioned before handover. Good sensible advice and reasonable price on aftercare and options for ongoing Inverter Support. Cleaned up, picked up and left place as they found it. Would recommend highly for industrial or domestic install on that basis.....TMcD.

I would highly recommend Atlantic renewables for the installation of Solar PV system on your residence. Right from the start i noticed how excellent both Dean and his business partner Jason, were at communication. It is clear they are experts in their field, but they took the time on numerous occasions to talk me through the various options and tweak to match my needs or requests. All of this was done in language and terminology that I could understand. Once I was happy for the order to go ahead, the Atlantic renewables team delivered on promised date for setup of scaffolding and installation of panels. Due to minor complications with my property, the install took 2 days, though in these days the site was left tidy throughout and the finished job is very neat and tidy. Jason who installed the system himself took the time to talk me through the installation, safety measures, diagrams and features. One thing to point out was that within a few days of the installation I noticed a small issue with the system. I called Atlantic renewables who were straight onto the Inverter manufacturer for a resolution, keeping me informed. Within 24 hours it was all sorted. I must say that it was great to still get that level of service even though installation was completed. Again I would highly recommend Dean and Jason at Atlantic Renewables. I certainly will be going back to them when I upgrade the system with a battery storage.

Dean was very honest and delivered on a great price. Job was done very neatly. The Growatt app took a while to set up properly but Dean and his staff made sure it was all working to my satisfaction before I had to pay. Also provided help to complete FIT application. Would definitely recommend. 12 month update - The system has generated 700 Kwh more than predicted over the year. Very pleased with that performance!

We've just had a 4kw system (13 panels) with Fronius inverter installed and found the whole experience to be excellent. Deans knowledge and expertise is second to none, providing honest opinions on the equipment to go for without overspending. The installation was performed without issue and all the kit and setup was explained to me. All in all I can't recommend Atlantic Renewables enough so if you're looking to have panels installed give them a call.

I contacted two companies to provide a quotation to fit solar panels. In our initial phone conversation, Dean gave me a thorough overview of the products he would propose in his written quotation. The written quotation quickly followed via email and appeared to be more professionally prepared compared with the other company's. Both quotes suggested similar equipment and installations and the prices were also similar. Dean won the contract because there were few questions unanswered between the telephone conversation and his written quote. A mutually convenient date for the installation was quickly agreed. The fitters arrived on schedule, made a point of introducing themselves by name and got down to work quickly. They worked neatly, diligently, professionally, safely and kept me informed of progress. They were very pleasant and polite to speak, respected my home and ensured it was left tidy at the end of each stage of the installation.

I did extensive research into solar PV and Atlantic provided the most competitive quote for a 4kw system. Dean was knowledgeable and prepared to offer a choice of solutions to fit my personal preferences. He was also the only installer I contacted to give me confidence in his ability to install a monitoring system that I could access from an Internet connection on my Smartphone. Dean and his team were friendly and efficient during the installation and he completed all the FIT paperwork (including organising an EPC) for me and submitted it to my choice of provider. I had a 4kW system installed with 16 All black Hyundai Solar Panels and a German SMA Sunny Boy Inverter. I found Atlantic Renewables on Twitter, Dean the owner came to Survey my property. He was very helpful and explained everything clearly. He was honest and wasn't a typical salesman like some of the other companies I had out. On the day of the install Dean was there with his installers, who were a good bunch of people. Dean even took care of all the FIT application forms and sent them off to Scottish Power on my behalf.
