The work undertaken by this company formed part of a wider disrepair project at my property. Throughout the process, every member of the team conducted themselves with professionalism, courtesy and respect — both towards me and my home. The project spanned approximately five weeks, during which various tradespeople attended sequentially to complete their respective tasks. Each stage transitioned smoothly into the next, demonstrating a highly coordinated and efficient operation. The administrative team ensured I was consistently informed, providing clear updates on the schedule and the nature of the work being carried out. In addition, the team took considerate measures to protect my small garden pond by constructing a wooden enclosure around it while the wall rendering was completed — a thoughtful precaution that I greatly appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company without reservation.

I have had ongoing issues with drainage and smells in my bathroom. It had took my housing association and their contractors, almost 2 years and at least 20 different people yet they could not find the problem. It was the source of alot of stress and frustration for me at home. They finally asked DLP to attend. From the moment I met Paul he was professional and courteous, but I think most importantly to me at least, he listened, so that he understood rather than dismissing me as had previously been the case. Paul took less than an hour to find the issue & immediately knew the plan of action. He tidied up after himself to attend the following week to carry out the necessary repairs. He came back and did the necessary repairs. However through no fault of his own (housing association failure) he had not been asked to replace the bath panel and other "boxing in" materials. Once I sorted this issue out with the housing association, Paul came back to finish off and to check that all issues with the drains and smell had been resolved. The finishing is fantastic, it looks so much better than it ever has done previously. He takes care and attention to not just get the job done but to do it correctly. It has just been a job for other workmen, but Paul acknowledged that this is my home and ensured I was happy with the work carried out. It is a shame that Paul isn't regularly used for the tenants repairs here. I do feel that if the housing associations repair team were as knowledgeable and professional as Paul, the tenants would be alot happier.

Fantastic service, people great and really hard working. No discrimination towards me as a disabled deaf client and kept upto date via a lovely lady called carmel bell.

Right from the start of getting my roof done carmel and another guy made it clear what would be happening,and true to there word it went straight forward and if I did phone carmel she was there within half an hour or less to listen to my concern,the workmen who done the roof were pleasant and the aftercare of cleaning was 10 out of 10

Can’t even comment on their services but I can say after receiving abuse in the form of very unpleasant hand jesters and having the driver close up behind my car that we were practically touching all because I slowed down and came to a stop at a roundabout instead of flying across it when the was vehicles coming from the right, this has definitely left a negative view on their firm and what’s more disappointing when I sent a email to the company in regards of the driver in their company vehicle and giving the registration (MX69 VBU), I have not even had a email of acknowledgment of the situation. I wouldn’t haves cared as much if it wasn’t for the fact I had my infant daughter in the car with me and to have your employee trying to intimidate me and act in such a way all because I wasn’t speeding around and breaking the speed limit like this driver clearly expected me too. If that’s the kind of representation you want for your firm then so be it.

DLP Services Northern recently installed a bespoke roof on our container at Eden Gardens, primarily designed to harvest rainwater for our allotment. DLP is the best company you can hire highly highly recommend, there is one group who came over New Devonshire square, M7 4AD project, they are amazing each and everyone of them very friendly, understanding and helpful with anything they can. I can't stop THANKING EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM specially David , Rick and Canron their are amazing and loving people to have them around. Even my 3 years old daughter she been asking for them when they having a day off or weekends ☺️. They all working together one hand but they not just colleagues they are like family to each other and to us. Big big thanks to Canron for everything and all the help he gives me. After contacting our local council to convert an existing bathroom into a wet room for elderly relatives, DLP were used to renovated and complete the works. The lads worked really hard and never stopped. Cleaned up after themselves and overall were very friendly. And have checked up with us regarding the works post completion to check we are still happy. Would highly recommend

Our block of flats has, in recent months, had a new roof fitted and I am so relieved as I have experienced many leaking problems in the kitchen and bathroom. Carmel from DLP visited my property and I cannot fault her understanding of my plight, she was most helpful. When it was decided that we were to get a new roof, Carmel kept myself and others in our block informed of what would happen and when. The men doing the work were very pleasant, working very efficiently and they done an excellent job. The difference to just the look of the block is so much better and now that it is watertight, that gives me peace of mind knowing that my home will be dry and not having to worry about anything leaking through. My thanks to Carmel, Andy and Amy for all their help.

Horrible firm. The workers leave their rubbish on your property (when i told their boss about it she said "can't you pick it up?) and are extremely rude. Customer service manager was very helpful till the work started and after that her phone was never switched back on, after the work had finished they leave the scaffolding and pallets of slate on your property for sometimes weeks before removing them. Don't use them, much better firms who do a better job and would be a lot more considerate.

Works been good But they kept me in on a hot sunny day saying there doing an A.M. job, and the guy turned up at 12 P.M and the job he's meant to be doing Which is insulation wasn't hes job for the day, and he's doing outside vents, not what I was told Then, a week later no confirmation that someone coming to my place they just turn up at 8 A.M to do insulation With out giving me the heads up Am very not pleased at all poor communication at the fullest

Don't go near this company they are an absolute joke. They have made considerable damage to my porch roof taken my skyline windows out and tiled over. The felt has been slashed with the tile cutter and nails sticking through and I am so fed up with the promises that everything will be put right, told the same story every day will be tomorrow then next week !!!!!!! A very unhappy customer

Do not let them con you with an initial great first meeting! Dug my garden up so it’s out of use to a disabled person and then ignore all contact. Waited 2wks and still heard nothing because outs a scam company

Roofing staff very very rude, caught them smoking up on the roof when stripping tiles. Reported to site manager and he didn't seem to care. My opinion complete cowboys and very unproffesional and may endanger your property with fire.

Absolutly cowboys work there, they comin couple of times to my house do small guttering job what takes around 4months and still not finish.better for you not use! This company

Shocking services! They come do a really quick job, leaving mess and damages along the way. They ‘rectify’ damages, with people unqualified to do so in what can only be described as a bodge job. Communication is poor. Would not recommend this cow boy company.

I'd like to thank dave 1 of the manager's at DLP for uninstalling my electrical appliance today also replacing socket/cover that was damaged properl decent polite and helpful guy. It's a crying shame Manchester city Council aren't as helpful. Thank you DLP. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. 🔹 🔹 🔹 🔹 🔹 🔹 🔹.

NOT EVEN 1 STAR. They have no customer service. I understand that builders have a job to do, but when they were working on a neighbour's property they used loud power tools causing severe distress to my 1yr old and 3yr old who has autism. I politley asked if they could use an alternative quieter tool. I got a house visit from office staff who gave wrong information and ignored the fact that my 3 yr old has a disability and said they weren't going to do anything (with a smug grin on her face). Totally disgusting in this day and age.

Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. If you want to avoid HUGE nails being left all over your garden, starting at 7am without any telling of it happening, your canopy being ripped off, BT cable and phone line cut and chucked into another neighbours garden and live wires hanging an arms length from your window. Do not choose this company.

Have a leaking roof from day one came out to repair roof only for it to leak again only this time the roof has leaked with a vengeance damaging plaster paintwork and a computer tower its alright for the managers to walk around pointing fingers at the roof doing jack in the meantime we still have a leaking roof !!!

Wouldnt even give them one star! Joke of a company. Dont start work when supposed to then dont even bother to keep you updated. Stand outside your windows swearing and shouting (young children in my home) . Wasnt even told they was starting work for them to just randomly turn up and put all scaffolding up standing at my childrens windows woke them up scared!! . Turned my gas off for two days for no reason as my roof hasn't even been touched.. say there doing one thing then end up doing something totally different. Change there minds and all say different things. Cant wait until they leave my household!!! Will be complaining to my housing association about these cow boys!!

Never seem to stick to appointments they make, lost 3 hols off work waiting for : 1 - Let the scaffolders in the back, they never showed up 2- Another day off because they were coming to turn the gas supply off to my gas fire which they already knew i didn't have, the customer service rep actually took a picture of my ELECTRIC FIRE !! 3 - The window cleaners (yes they clean up after the roofers) but they just don't turn up. Unfortunately i rent from a housing trust but God forbid personally wouldn't trust this company with my garden shed.

Terrible they show up when they please without telling you then don't put anything back when they move it they leave a mess and dont clean up after them and they put my dogs life at risk by leaving both my back and front gate open then just left without telling me they had finished, there workman are rude playing music smoking and swearing and treat your home like its an abandoned building 7:40 in the morning i was woke up with drilling without anyone telling me they was coming they have 0 conmuacation with you they show up make a mess then leave all without speaking a word to you they have left wires hanging from my house dried blobs on cement on the floor dust all over the place even next door aren't happy becasue they let themselfs into there back garden to use the out door tap without permission by far the worst company i have dealt with i have never left a reveiw for anything but these deserve the negatively defiantly avoid this company and find a different one i wanted to speak to the manager or someone in charge but they just left without telling me they had finished so i didnt get the chance and tbh i dont even know if they have Finished as they only did the side of the house and not the front or back so dont even know if they will be back like i said no conmuacation i think i should be told when someone will be coming to my home and what they will be doing and how long it should take i have taken pictures of the mess they have left my home in and will be uploading them and taking them to my housing who hired them to do the work.
