Gary, is a very knowledgeable electrician. Expert in EV installation. He carried out his work impeccably. He arrived the time he said he would and carried out the installation with no issues ( mine was not your usual installation) He even knows how to use a vacuum Hoover and dust pan and brush which is very rare for a Sparky. I’m totally happy with the install, and would definitely recommend him. Top bloke

Whilst installing my Hypervolt charger, he was very thorough with explaining how it will work, and how I can charge using energy from my solar panels. Gary installed an Andersen Quartz charging unit along with additional consumer unit and other connections to the household electrical supply. His installation was very neat and tidy including the length of cable between the supply and the charging unit. He turned up to do the installation at the agreed date/time (even though it was a Saturday)and was friendly and courteous. He explained how to use the unit - and it has functioned without issues. Very pleased with Gary and his workmanship, and will be using him to install solar panels later in the year- recommended!

I recently contacted Gary as a Tesla recommended electrician regarding the installation of a Wall Connector at my home. Gary was exceptionally efficient and offered me a very competitive quotation that was significantly cheaper than several large installation firms I approached. The whole job was completed in less than a week of my initially contacting Gary and he was extremely professional throughout the installation process, arriving on time and offering advice on the location of the Wall Connector. He handled everything with precision and care, completing the installation to a high standard which looks both clean and unobtrusive. Gary also ensured that the Wall Connector was set-up on my Tesla app. I would recommend Gary to anyone interested in having a Wall Connector installed in their house.

Gary has recently installed a Tesla Wall Connector at my property. Throughout the whole process, Gary has communicated effectively and efficiently. The job wasn’t the easiest with 25 metres of cable required due to the distance from the power source however, this wasn’t a problem for Gary who completed the work very quickly and left no mess behind. The work was completed to the highest standard as Gary takes great pride in the quality of the job, almost as if he was installing on his own property. Highly recommend and will definitely use in the future when moving home.

Had my Hypervolt charger fitted by EV-PV about a year ago. Get a new EV (different brand) and had an issue on the Friday (something broke and the device wouldn't power/connect). Spoke to Thier call centre via WhatsApp over the weekend with hypervolt then I rang the installer also after raising the ticket. When I rang Gary we just popped over and fixed It same day free of charge. No nonsense excellent service and charger now works and had worked as it should thought untill this fixed blip last Friday. 10/10

I would fully recommend EV-PV Ltd, (and Gary Matthews), to anyone who was considering the installation of an EV charger.
We had a New Installation of a Hypervolt Charger installed by EV-PV. I must say that from start to finish it was a seamless process and we could not be more happy. Gary was very professional and handled everything. The actual fitting was very clean and tidy and Building Regs Certificate received shortly after. We will certainly be recommending him to friends and family when they decide to swap over to an EV.
Gary was very courteous and professional from the very first time I contacted EV-PV. He kept me informed throughout the whole process of our Solar PV system. The installation was carried out in a very professional manner and always left his work area clean and tidy. Would strongly recommend EV-PV to carry out their work to anyone.

We recently had a Hypervolt charger fitted at our home. Gary arrived when he said he would and after confirming where we wanted the charger to go, he completed the job neatly and speedily. He took the time to explain and demonstrate the features of the charger. I am really pleased with the completed job and he was also a really nice bloke!

Found EV-PY"s details through the Hypervolt website, and from the moment I contacted Gary he was responsive and helpful, answering all my questions quickly. The Installation was booked in within the week, and the installation itself was faultless, with Gary turning up on time and working throughout until everything was done and tested. First class job by a first class guy - he will be the first person I speak to next year when we plan to have solar PV installed.

Gary and team were great to work with and I highly recommend. When you first look at switching to an EV it can be a little more complicated than you imagine and Gary was really helpful throughout the whole process, including answering all of my (many) questions very promptly each evening, guiding me through what info he needed to apply for the EV charging grant and obviously applying for the grant - which he discounted from my invoice. would definitely use again if I go for solar panels or a battery system in future.

Despite having to work in a difficult space they completed the job quickly and tidily, even made improvements to the existing wiring and provided helpful advice on further considerations. Gary and his colleague arrived on time on the agreed day. Started work immediately and had the job finished within three hours. I had already defined the position of the installation and after explaining this to Gary her checked and agreed it would not be a problem. Both cleaned up the area as they worked and the installation was completed in a neat and profession manor. Invoice followed the same night and the next day I had the EV charger certificate arrived.

Excellent company to deal with. The guys that came out were very professional and quick. No mess, very knowledgeable and explained what they were doing at every step. The communication both before and after installation is very good. I tried lots of other companies before finding this one and they made the decision very easy to choose them.
My installation wasn't the easiest because of my supply. I wasn't aware of my supply issues until Western Power contacted me to discuss dates to carry the work out. Gary had made the initial contact in the background. I'm now the proud owner of a charge point and I have to say that if you need a "one-stop" solution to getting a charge point then Gary is your man, from the background contact with Western Power to the final installation of the charge point Gary was communicative and professional. The final result was a neat and tidy installation that works, what more can anyone ask for.
Gary and his team have been exemplary - everything from offering pre-sale advice through to installation and support have been taken care of. There were a couple of issues with the charger (nothing to do with the installation, rather the charger itself!) that I e-mailed Gary about, and I got a response that same evening - you really can't fault the customer service from EV-PV. The installation was quick and incredibly neat - I wasn't sure what to expect, but the care that went into concealing wires and making the charger fit flush to the wall really was impressive. You won't go wrong with these guys!

Very happy with the car charger installation - great communication in advance, fitted the addition to our fuse box in the under stairs cupboard so that it would be less visible/obtrusive despite it being more work, and stayed and talked us through logging into & using the charge point.

Gary responded to my initial enquiry for a Wallbox EV charger within 24 hours, the online survey was easy to submit, he quickly came back with the quote and agreed the install date. On the day he arrived at the agreed time, confirmed the final position of the charger and one the work was completed the area was left completely tidy. The OLEV grant was all done by Gary and the invoice included this being deducted from the cost. All in all EV PV are professional and I would recommend them, and use them again.

Don’t usually leave reviews however I have this time. Incredibly brilliant service and such a lovely guy is Gary. Most importantly Gary came across as trustworthy when I first spoke to him and as a non standard install he took the time to work out the best solution for my house. I would not hesitate to recommend the service here and how genuine a nice guy Gary is. He took time to explain show me how the system works and the quality of the work was exceptional. If I needed any electrical work going forward I think I’ll only use Gary.
