We have contracted with them twice now. The four people who have worked/quoted for jobs here have been great - happy to explain the work and the seriousness or not of any issues. Highly competent and knowledgable. Friendly, polite and clean up after work. No inflated pricing, and great value on electrical safety check and fitting of a spur for an induction range. Fantastic to have found a really solid company we can use for electrical work going forward.

Adam and his team have carried out a number of jobs for us over the past few years as either part of a large project or smaller jobs that needed doing around the house. The service they provide is professional, efficient and expertly carried out from start to finish. A great team and our ‘go to’ company for anything electrical!

We bought an electric car therefore we needed a charging point, we contacted Adam who came within a day or two, advised us of what was needed, after being given the OK by National Grid the work was carried out, very friendly electricians came, everything was explained to us, they even helped us with the App on the phone and explained everything in full, could not have asked for better service. We have had work carried out by them before and it’s always been a good experience.

Can only add 5 stars for the work Craig and Adam did to sort out my NEST controlled heat system, which had been a minor but irritating problem for nearly a year since we moved in. Craig was diligent and methodical in trying to understand how the system was configured and eventually traced and solved the problem. Excellent service all round and would not hesitate to use again and recommend.

Exceptional business in every way. We needed electric supplied to an outbuilding over 200m from the nearest fuse box. These guys talked me through the options and costs. When it was time to do the work it was completed in a timely manner to an incredibly high standard. These are now our one stop shop for all things electrical.

We had an urgent problem that needed fixing after another company accidentally damaged our electrics when carrying out work. Adam and his team took on the challenge of installing a new electric pump in our sewage system. This company, and Adam, were recommended by Techni Plumb who were working locally to me, recently, on a bathroom refit. After meeting Adam on his initial ‘recce’ visit, to establish my requirements, I was suitably impressed , and the date was set for his team, Craig and Mischa, to attend on Monday 7th October 2024, to perform a full electrical safety inspection, and correct any issues found, in addition to replacing a consumer unit, main supply fuse and a deceased extractor fan! They were punctual, professional, good humoured, helpful and respectful. I could not have wished for a better service. They were confident in addressing any query I had with patience and impressive knowledge of their trade. I wholeheartedly recommend this company and its staff, after their performing a somewhat different, sometimes quite challenging, electrical safety check on my park home, here in Ross on Wye. After having a few electrical issues, including an electric shock, in the house, we called out Adam and his team to get them fixed. One of his electrician’s, Craig, came out to us the next day and did a thorough check of our electrical circuits plus the lights, and found a faulty switch and a faulty light fitting. We had Adam and his team working on 2 projects, and we couldn't be happier with them. They are 100% reliable, communication is great. Mischa, Bruce and Craig not only have done a very nice job with rewiring a studio and a 2 bed cottage, but always been very helpful with explaining how things work. Turned up promptly to change 3 wall sockets & made further arrangements for Adam to come & look at a possible change of electric box on 15th February, didn't show up, wouldn't reply to messages. I'd avoid this company.

It's a relief to find a company that I can trust. After what could have been a disaster power outage in our kitchen at a hotel. From my first phone call I was reassured, communication was great, everything explained and the fault sorted after an hour of arriving. I've used Vic lockley now for 4 or 5 years. Theyve always been professional and unlike alot of trades they turn up when they say they will! I enjoy the fact they are a local firm and theyve been a great help for that out of hours emergency and also those small little jobs.

Wonderful service I recieved today, I needed two old down lighters replaced, phoned Wednesday and they came out today, well worth the money, and he even cleaned up after himself! Awesome job boys x

I was quoted £520 to fix a pond pump. I was told that I needed to buy a new pump and that the supply was not earthed so would need to be changed. I feel bad about saying this because the guys who came to the house were nice, but the price quoted and info given was totally incorrect. I wasted £170 on a new pump (the old pump is actually fine) and it turns out the supply to the pond was earthed, although the cable was not regulation armoured cable. So the quote I received was either incompetent or dishonest- I’m not sure which is worse. Depressing.

I was charged £186 for literally 30 minutes work! Taking the Piss! A £12 RCBO single unit was supplied and fitted and an earth connection tightened with a screwdriver. This was not an emergency callout and I only live 9 minutes away from them.

Craig came to my home and installed a Nest Thermostat. Superb, friendly and professional service. Highly recommended.

My time was well and truly waisted. I was told I would have a quote same day. After being told “tomorrow” four times and waiting two months i took my business elsewhere. Experience of having an old work place use them and constant problems with the lights that they fixed on multiple occasions also made me nervous about using them.
