Hope you all had a fab weekend . I just wanted to say thank you . As always Will was brilliant , very professional and thorough conducting our emergency lighting testing at Trushape UK. On a personal note Stu was also fabulous getting the jobs done around my house and it was great to meet the newest member of your team ( gave him a nice challenging chandelier to put up he nailed it ) I will continue to recommend the high standards that you all have a T.Darby electrical .

These guys Tim and Jack really pulled out all the stops on January 7th 2025. We came back from holiday with young kids to a cold dark house. I called Tim The next day (hadn’t used them before) at 7.45a.m and he was on the ball and Jack attended at 9a.m and had the power back on by lunch time. Really saved the day. Tim Darby, what a fantastic human being! Had a problem with home electrics tripping out and could not resolve. A photo of the consumer unit sent to Tim, a call back from him and sorted following his simple and clear instructions. My uncle, who is 90 was overwhelmed by this and will look to Tim for any future electrical needs. PROPER SERVICE!!! CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH. Thanks so much for caring Tim.
After not getting any responses from other local trades people, Tim and the team got straight back to me and came to take a look at the problems we had. He recommended a sensible course of action and booked us in at a time to suit us. Will, the electrician, was courteous, tidy and kept us informed every step of the way, and even took his shoes off every time he went upstairs (including when he went in the attic!). Would thoroughly recommend Tim and the team to anyone who needs work done, a great service!
I luckily came across Tim’s page a couple of weeks ago after dealing with another electric company that turned out to be a total rip off. Tim managed to fit me in as we were selling a house and needed an EICR done, he also arranged for the work to be completed the same day. We live on a private road and after struggling to get quotes/sensible quotes for a faulty street light, I luckily found T Darby. Had power failure so contacted Tim who willingly led me through what to do by phone. Unsocial hours but gave up his time. Had fault traced and replaced some halogen with LEDs. A good, very pleasant team.
Looking for a new electric boiler for our flat, I tried a few bigger companies and they couldn't help. Rewiring for a kitchen upgrade, extending outside power to sheds, investigating defective LED tape lights and sorting, replacing failed downlighters, replacing defective extractor fan in bathroom, all part of the service provided for us by Tim and his boys over the last 8 years. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Tim.

Two men spent 5hrs trying to fix our electrical gates. We were then charged a 5hr diagnostic invoice aswell as given a huge quote for a new part. I spoke to Tim directly as I was not happy with what happened that day. I decided to go elsewhere and I got the gates fixed for a fraction of the price & the expensive part that they said needed to be replaced worked fine!!
