We contacted Luke at Pennington Electrical after he came highly recommended, and we can absolutely see why. We needed a 3-phase power supply for our industrial mitre saw, and Luke came out to assess the job straight away. Initially, we thought our only option would be an application to Northern Powergrid, followed by a survey, quotation and eventually an installation. We were potentially looking at £10,000–£20,000 and an 8–14 week wait before we could get the machine running. Luke immediately started looking for a better solution. He researched the requirements of our saw in depth and identified that a specialist 3-phase converter could potentially do exactly what we needed without the huge cost and delay of upgrading the incoming electrical supply. He made sure the equipment would be correctly specified for the machine, and within a day he had confirmed the solution, lead time and price for us. The specialist converter was ordered, arrived around two weeks later, and Luke came and installed it the same day. The result has been brilliant. Our saw is running perfectly and Luke's solution has saved us thousands of pounds, as well as potentially months of waiting. What impressed us just as much as his technical knowledge was how good he was to deal with throughout. Luke is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, easy-going and, most importantly, one of the most reliable tradesmen we have come across. When he says he'll do something, he does it. It's rare to find someone who combines this level of electrical knowledge with genuinely excellent customer service. Thank you, Luke.
