We recently completed our renovation and having installed a heat pump, wanted to have solar panels fitted too. Ian came over and was very friendly and informative. He answered all my questions and was happy to go through things in detail with me. He quoted me for various options and gave me plenty of time to do my research and was happy for me to ring him a number of times to ask further questions. He talked through the pros and cons of different choices available. He never rang to chase me for an answer and gave me time to think about what I wanted. Having made my decision the fitting process was very straightforward and was completely stress free. The fitters and electrician were very professional and explained what they were doing and it only took a couple of days. I would highly recommend Evergreen.

Ian and his team have fitted solar panels and battery storage for me at Seaton Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club and Uplyme Village Hall. From first contact, to site visits, to explaining and tweaking the options, to the efficient and tidy completion of the job and on to after sales service, it's all been A1 and all at a competitive price too. For my money - well, at least the money of the two organisations I represented - you can't beat a company that offers good value AND excellent personalised service. Full marks!

I recently had solar panels and battery installed. Ian didn’t try and do the hard sell, he explained everything in a way that made sense to me, even when I asked stupid questions he took his time to explain. Very happy with the service I received, the entire team are extremely professional and polite. And I am even happier with the money I am saving already 😉.

We planned to install solar power at our house. It is listed, in an AONB and thatched so we knew it wouldn’t be the most straightforward installation. We originally had the tiled garage roof in mind for the panels. We researched local solar panel installers and chose Evergreen Renewable Energy SW based on a neighbour’s recommendation. Ian came to do the first survey and recognised that the garage roof wouldn’t be large enough to produce enough power for us, to justify the cost of the installation. He then suggested ground mounted panels within the property boundary. These would be mounted using the Cornish Rocker system, which also allow panel angle adjustment during the year depending on the height of the sun. The system didn’t require concrete foundations which enhanced the environmental credentials. We received the quote quickly and Ian answered our questions straightaway. Our council planning application was assisted in detail by Chris at Cornish Rocker. This made things much easier. Our panels were installed in Autumn 2023 along with a battery, housed in the garage. Cabling trench work was carried out by a company suggested by Ian. There was an immediate reduction in our energy costs, which have improved greatly as we have gone into the summer months of 2024, and offset by being able to export to the grid. During this period Evergreen Renewable Energy promptly answered any queries we had. On one occasion when there had been a power cut in the area, Ian alerted us to the impact on our system and advised us how to reset it. The service from Ian and his team and Chris from Cornish Rocker, has been excellent throughout and we can’t fault the after sales service. Our desire to do our bit for the environment and reduce fossil fuel energy consumption, has already started to be realised. We are pleased to have been able to provide business to a local company and would recommend Evergreen SW and Cornish Rocker without hesitation. A big thank you from us.

I cannot recommend Ian and the team from Evergreen too highly. They patiently answered our questions, gave us realistic alternatives which they clearly explained, were very reasonably priced and they came when they said they would and did what they said they would too. Also very impressive was the paperwork - who knew it could be so complicated. That made it easier to apply for the Smart Export Guarantee tariff - Ben even popped up to help me decipher the smart meter. I don't think anyone could ask for me.

It's always hard to find a company that you can trust. It takes time and a bit of research. I fell on my feet with Evergreen Renewables of Lyme Regis. With fairness and a solid attitude toward getting to the end product. I now have a great solar system fitted and I know I can trust the back up service, if something happens. It's a lovely company to deal with, with good positive values. It how Britain used to be and how I was brought up. Thankyou to Ian and staff at Evergreen Renewables.

Evergreen are amazing! We used to have an electric combi-boiler, it was only two years old but had never worked properly and was jaw-droppingly expensive to run. I am carer to my elderly Mum who a can be cold in a heatwave so I needed something both effective and cheap to run. I also wanted to reduce my carbon footprint so oil or gas was not an option. A friend put me in touch with Evergreen who installed an air source heat pump at the end of December. The installation did not go without a hitch as it turned out some of the pipes to my radiators were blocked. The engineers from Evergreen worked very hard to sort the problem out, indeed they seemed to be taking it personally and simply would not stop until the job was absolutely 100%. Since then my house has been warmer than ever before, my Mother is warm (almost) all the time and even though the system now runs 24/7, which I could never do with the old system, the two bills I’ve had since Evergreen did the installation have been over £120 less per month than they were before. So thanks to Evergreen my Mum is warm and I’m just a little bit smug!

Shocking service. Asked for a quote mid Jan, no reply so chased in Feb. Had a site visit from Ian in Feb. Then a month went by, I chased and got a reply saying something was attached, which wasn’t. I said there was nothing attached and I got a reply with the attachment in April. Reply was polite and said “ Please come back to me with any questions. Happy to discuss the options for as long as is required until we find the right system for you.” I did have questions so asked on the day I got the quote, 12th April, but no reply again for months, so chased again beginning of June and got a few responses. Agreed to go ahead with a quote around 20th of June and told installation would be Sept. So here we are, Sept tomorrow, emailed for an update a couple of weeks ago and guess what? No reply. Guess it’s not going to be sept or even this year. I’m glad they have so much work they haven’t got time to deal with their customers Avoid!

Just an outstanding, confident, assuring, trusting team there is at Evergreen. I was super impressed with the service. Everything from the initial phone call, the survey and the days of the works. Everything was explained and communicated to me. I had full confidence in the team throughout the whole process. Clean. Efficient. A really decent team with the right attitude. You should be proud in the knowledge that you’ve got really good members of staff representing your company. Proud of their work. Fantastic service

Evergreen installed a range of PV panels for us in July 2020. We cannot recommend these folk enthusiastically enough. Faultless in every way. If there was a 7 star rating we would have used it.

Great service from initial contact to installation of our PV panels. They are knowledgeable, professional, courteous and efficient - recommended without hesitation. The only regret is that we didn't get PV panels sooner!
