James from Wimbledon Electricians checked and certified the electrical circuits in our house. He had to deal with an intermittent failure of one circuit, and replace old and unsafe switch boxes. The intermittent failure was difficult to pinpoint and persisted, but James returned to deal with what turned out to be a loose connection at a junction box under our staircase. All now seems to be fine, and I appreciate James’s professional approach in following up to ensure the issue was resolved

James completed the fuseboard replacement to an excellent standard. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and provided clear advice on additional improvements that may be required around the property. The work area was left clean and tidy. Would highly recommend him.

James at Wimbledon Electrician Ltd was recommended to me by my estate agent during my house move. From the very first contact, his service was exceptional. Though I no longer reside in Wimbledon, James and his team have very kindly travelled to Surrey to install all my lights, both internal and external. They also changed all my light switches and sockets from plastic ones to antique chrome ones. Last week, he helped to resolve my electrical issues for my garden room as well as installing external lights. James always responded quickly to my inquiry. He answered all my questions patiently in a way I could understand, and offered valuable suggestions. All works were completed efficiently and meticulously. I particularly appreciated the transparency; fair pricing; punctuality and reliability. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again for any electrical needs and will be recommending him to all my friends, family, and neighbours!

James has done a number of jobs for us, very brilliantly. He raised all the sockets for us in our sitting room, carefully raking out plaster. He installed quite a number of other sockets and switches in our house as well as downlights, fixing several problems with our wiring to get the switches to work correctly. He hung a pendant light in the top stairwell and a ceiling light in the bedroom. And lastly, he hung two heavy chandeliers and two heavy pendants in the downstairs hallway. This involved precisely fixing the hanging mechanisms into the ceiling with long screws without damaging the ceiling roses, returning for a further visit to hang buckets of sand from the fixings to ensure they would support the weight of the chandeliers and then installing the chandeliers - all done brilliantly and to our great relief. James is an intelligent problem-solver and exactly who you would want for any thorny electrical issue. Both he and his junior colleague Cameron are polite and conscientious.

James did a wonderful job in hanging two pendant lights and fixing other odd jobs - he was very friendly, professional and a great electrician! Will 100% use again and recommend!!!

James installed some garden lighting for us, including a number of spike lights around the edge and some under-step LED strips. His patience, professionalism, and attention to detail were all excellent. He came back to replace some faulty product (not supplied by him) and then again to get the LED finish just right. He was as keen as I was to get things right. We are really pleased with the result and would highly recommend him.

We spoke about the various options and budgets and set on keeping the same circuits but aligning new lights to provide more light. They were diligent in ensuring it lined up perfectly. They also installed some new extractor fans for our bathrooms. Decent prices and great communication and service from the crew.
