Extremely rude and unprofessional workers who used abusive and derogatory language towards us numerous times. Highly unpleasant individuals who I would recommend avoiding at all costs

Utterly abysmal company, avoid them at all costs. Every promise made in their agreements proved false, every assurance hollow. Their time management is a shambles, their organisation non-existent, their communication virtually absent. The standard of their workmanship is beneath amateur; they display neither competence nor care, barely capable of the simplest task, let alone a full renovation. A straightforward kitchen update spiralled into a drawn-out ordeal, exceeding every estimated timeframe. Not once did they complete a full day’s work. They cancelled repeatedly, often vanishing mid-shift without notice. On the very first day, they even delivered the wrong kitchen, a blunder that took three days to untangle. When the collection day arrived, no team appeared to manage the process. What should have been a simple project descended into chaos and farce. Their conduct is so negligent, so unprofessional, that one questions how such a business is permitted to trade at all. This company exemplifies the absolute worst of the industry,a disgrace to its trade and a case study in why stricter regulation and intervention by trading standards are urgently needed.

where do I start this company are a complete joke they said my kitchen would take up to 4 days right its been 3 weeks and when you call them they just make your blood boil no one seems to no what there doing its like talking to children we has a family have no gas no water and all they keep saying is we are sorting it wow also I needed a new kitchen waste pipe put in it was green lighted but then the office says they don't wanna cup in to the outside floor they want to put it on top on show I said NO, NO from my uderstanding we was told under the floor then they say oh we need to wait for the materials which are concrete and some plastic piping which you can buy anywhere but yet they are waiting for the materials what a absolute joke of a company and just to top it off i have a disabled brother and this is really stressing him out he need to take he's medication but no water on the lower floor and he can't walk the stairs so I am very cross here AVOID!!

This company completely lied to my Landlord about my wife and I, stating that we acted aggressively towards their operatives on several occasions causing them to refuse to visit our property due to safety reasons for the operatives. Considering we only saw one operative who worked for 1.5 days before leaving the job. The others who supposedly turned up and rang me at work said they didn't realise the job was that big and left. I honestly think they fabricated lies because the company did not want to do the work. I would not trust or recommend them

Masher brothers van nearly crashed into me. Very aggressive driving and dangerous on the roads.

Very unhelpful office staff and good to see that this is carried on throughout all the staff and workmanship is very poor but to be expected from a company with a contracted period of time so uncaring attitude

So on Friday 30th May 2025 I was supposed to have an engineer from Masher Brothers Limited to come and replaster my bathroom ceiling. I took the day off work and give the engineer time to arrive seen it was too early to start complaining that noone has arrived to do the job. I give it maximum 2 hours before calling them to see where the engineer is. I then call the engineer myself to see where he is and get told that he had no idea that he was meant to come and do the job. I then recall Masher Brothers Limited and tell them what's happened and how I had to take a day off work only to be told that it was a so called "miscommunication" on their part and no engineer will be attending to do the job on Friday 30th May 2025. I then go on to tell them that cause this has been an ongoing issue that I'm no longer going to be able to take off a week day from work again. I was then told an engineer will be arriving on Saturday 31st May 2025 to do the work that needs to be done. However, an engineer is yet to arrive and do the job and I've called the office only to find out that they are closed for the weekend. So now I've got no way to contact them to see where the engineer is or if the engineer will even arrive to do the job. Update: Appointment attended but job still incomplete

Replaced a window but used the wrong colour spacer. The glazing bead was also fitted poorly. The appointment arrangement was also unprofessional

I have just had the most scariest encounter with a Masher Brothers van. I was going through a narrow road driving in Blackheath at the permitted speed limit and the van driver started hurling abuse at me. He then chased me down the road. As a female driver, I was frightened out of my wits and considered calling the police.

This masher brothers Ltd company staff is very rude and they don’t follow work with responsibilities, their operatives are also very careless, office staff to operatives they don’t know what’s going on with tenants work, very disappointed

Ollie and 'his gang' were sent to replaster and redecorate my bathroom, hall cupboard, hallway ceilings, walls and doors by Lewisham Council after 2 years of repeated flooding from above. They came and took a quote and after I chased Lewisham, I contacted them direct and they spoke to the Council and was given the go ahead to start quickly. They came just before Christmas and after the New Year. The work took 3 days total in cold weather, but they did not complain, they were sympathetic, punctual, pleasant and professional. It all looks lovely now :)

The supervisor Oliver (Oille)who came to check out all the jobs needed to be done with his team. He confirmed the date and when he returned to do the repairs, he was alone. His team were unavailable. He ended up doing all the repairs with no assistance. Had no breaks. Did not complain, kept us updated on what he was going to do and got on with it. He meant to be supervising and checking the work to be done but he ended up doing both bedrooms and bathroom with no assistance whatsoever. He was respectful and determine to complete the repairs in the two days he promised us to begin with. That's what you call dedication. I hope that the company appreciates his hard work. He has done a fantastic job our rooms looks amazing. Thank you Oille!

Atrocious, 6 months and still not fixed a plumbing repair contracted by Lewisham Council. The leaking pipe needs accessing through a kitchen unit and either because they can't be bothered or they're too disorganised, not sure which, they still haven't fixed it. Tried to contact them direct and got fobbed off to go back to the council.

Found the team to be very respectful of my property, friendly and polite. They also put shoe coving on before entering and cleaned up any little mess made before leaving. Would highly recommend.

Someone driving a Masher Van pulled out in front of me on my bike, causing me to skid, was so dangerous. Drove off, didn't even check. Great advert for the company

Horrible company! Would give 0 star if possible? Very rude, unprofessional and poor quality workmanship. The only thing missing with these cowboys is the horses 🐎 avoid at all costs

Company that has staff who think it’s ok to be disrespectful while in someone’s flat. They are unprofessional, smoking on site while on the scaffolding, argumentative. Zero regards for safety, electrical appliance everywhere and no regards for public possibly walking underneath the scaffolding (no signs). When it relates to the actual job, they cut corners, install window which is clearly too small for the original space. To make maters wost they attempt to cover holes which should not be there in the first place with extra wood, no filling no foam etc. Not family friendly at all also, no regards to timing. Lazy, cheap work is what’s provided. Avoid avoid. But manage to leave the work site everyday at 13:30.

Fitted a pvc double glazed window to my property that is more than 50mm to small for the structual opening. No fill and fix foam, no mastic, a hole down the side of the reveal that i can get my hand through and water leaking rom the top of the window when it rains. Currently 13 C eith the centre heating on full. COWBOYS

Friendly, helpful, professional and sensible builders. Great to have had work done by a building company that are so helpful and like to keep things simple. They have all been really nice to deal with and I am really happy with the work they have done. I got COVID in the middle of the work and they managed that interruption seamlessly and with good grace.

Masher Brothers recently completed a renovation of my kitchen and they have done an excellent job. The team were a pleasure to deal with and I was really impressed by the high quality finish.
