Abandon their own ticket structure for appointments when someone gets a bit angry and let them push in front. Their only pipeline of finding suitable housing is to shove you off to one of a handful of flat blocks built in the 1940's along the Bath road, next to Heathrow and only had bare minimum upkeep since being built, that don't have a washing machines, internet access, shops, a launderette nearby or even as much as a postbox just so they can tick the boxes on paper and say they did their job.
HILLINGDON COUNCIL PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THAT OWNER AT 143 LEYBOURNE ROAD PARK HIS WHITE CAR ON THE PAVEMENT COVERING THE WHOLE PAVEMENT AREA WHERE WHEELCHAIR USERS AND DISABLED PEOPLE FINDS ITS DIFFICULT TO USE? IF THE CAR IS BLOCKING THE WHOLE PAVEMENT THEN RESIDENTS AND WHEELCHAIR USERS HAVE TO WALK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD TO GET ACCESS. HE HAS ENOUGH SPACE TO PARK BUT HE CHOOSES TO PARK ON THE PAVEMENT! WHAT ABOUT THE CAR PARK? WHY DO I HAVE PUSH MY DISABLED CLIENT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHEN THERE'S A PAVEMENT??
Hillingdon's Locata system is useless barely any properties listed for months on end. Even after their so called “update” to Locata, it’s still the same broken system. What’s the point of upgrading a platform when there are barely any properties listed to begin with? It’s not just the odd quiet week it’s been months, even years, with little to no properties available to bid on. Residents are left waiting endlessly, checking week after week for absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, councils like Brent are building and listing homes regularly their Locata is active, with a proper flow of new builds and available housing. Brent clearly invests in actual solutions, not just flashy website updates that mean nothing without properties behind them. Hillingdon’s Locata feels like a box ticking exercise to say they have a system but in reality, it’s doing nothing for those stuck in temporary accommodation or desperate to move. No transparency, no communication, and no urgency. If you’re going to update your system, at least put some homes on it. Right now it feels like a complete waste of time and false hope for the residents you claim to prioritise.
Hillingdon housing services very bad I a homeless and I want Hillingdon council and they treat me very badly and when I live it there I was think to kill my self I have very bad situation with them
They are so difficult & not fair 😢 😔 they are not very helpful. They have no sympathy & always give the blame on others!
We have got Mould we had the repair man come round paint some stuff over most of it and said they would be back to finish the bathroom off well they never did and the Mould is back. An Inspecter was supposed to come here on Monday but never turned up. So no Very upset and dissatisfied. My husband has C.O.P.D and other ailments and my health is not to good either.
We had housing repair 2 days ago and was done by James(does plastering and repair works) was massive work but he finished in time and was very professional, efficient friendly and very hard working,we do appreciate for his excellent and efficient repair he did.
To be honest they don't care about the resident's safety, even though they know that something needs immediate action it takes months to respond
I don't know where to start with this to be honest the repairs and emergency service honestly it's so bad I called the repairs this afternoon at 12 and they have just come to review it at 10:00pm about the leak in the toilet and he come and couldn't do it because it's to late to do it 😡 so now I have to wait. it's honestly one thing after another it's not the leak it's the boiler which hasn't been done for months I can't count how many times I've called the repairs I have depression as it is, this is making me so much worse 🤬😡
I am sorry but how can a public service that deals with vulnerable people be so rude or easily accessible. Called to chase an outstanding leaky roof repair as Mum in Hospital with terminal cancer. Roof first reported 23rd May. Won't talk to me yet written letter authorising me to talk was ignored and denied speaking to a supervisor. I could prove I am her daughter in many checkable ways. December and still a very cold house causing Mum to try to pay the huge gas bills. Putting phone down and raising her voice over mine not acceptable.
Didn't even want to give one star. Try to ring cannot speak to anyone. Been waiting nearly a year for roof repair and getting nowhere because all automated and no one actually talks to you.
the contact number does not work just received the new rent breakdown paying £40 a week for external heating £8.40 for house keeping that is never done
Terrible service. I've called a few times and gave up to complain an emergency repair. Waiting time is at least 30 mints and sent from department to department with a no proper update to when it will be fixed. After two months still not fixed..
being passed around department to department, like a hot potato, ive been put on hold more than ive spoke to someone. ive even been cut off when told id be put on hold.
Received threatening letter about storing equipment and being accused of flytipping Bullying really without finding facts
just disgusting
Phoned asking for help with my fence got a very helpful young man who took his time to listen and was very sympathetic and understanding was unable to get any help but very good service regardless
On call service is very robotic No emotions. No care in the world. No empathy.
So poor
They refused to put me through to the ASB Team or the Emergency Housing office after they allowed an evicted tennant stay in her old house after she broke in to it. The police did nothing. Jonathan hung up on me twice despite nonabuse from either side. He could no longer argue with my logic.
Keep on sending me to different dept but i had to find a place when I was living on the street
Unless your disabled or some kind refugee immigrant you have no chance of these jokers helping you... I lived in the borough nearly 50 years and was homeless and they said no help for you matey..
