I recently used Steve for an EICR for letting purposes, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service he provided. After the first inspection, the report quite rightly failed due to live access to a cable in a cupboard operating the immersion heater. The cable tampering by the existing tenants was only discovered towards the end of the first inspection. Although this wasn’t the outcome I had hoped for, Steve clearly explained the problem and why it needed to be addressed. The unexpected issue was properly rectified, and although it meant paying for a second inspection, Steve handled everything professionally and fairly. As a gesture of goodwill, he kindly gave me a discount on the re-inspection and even waived the charge for a part. His transparency, knowledge, and thorough approach were greatly appreciated throughout the process. Most importantly, he has given me peace of mind for the next five years. I contacted Steve at Facelift Electrical Services on Monday, he promised to call to make an appointment on Tuesday, he did so, he conducted the work on Wednesday showing up on time. Perfect, no hassle. Steve listened and understood the issue of dodgy electrics from jack of all trade builder needing to be rectified and put to industry standard. Steve worked solidly for 2 hours, he had all parts needed on his van and the work, from before he started to when he had finished was chalk and cheese. At each stage he showed how work had been done and the danger inherent with it, his work on the other hand was neat, professional and gave complete confidence and peace of mind. Steve quoted me a very reasonable cost, so much so thatI insisted he raise the figure! If you want a well done and professional and safe job I recommend Facelift, if you are looking to cut corners don't call Facelift, Steve will only do a proper job! Of course Steve cleaned up after him and was super polite throughout!

I can’t recommend Steve enough! He came out on an emergency call to help my elderly parents and fixed the issue quickly. Not only was he incredibly efficient, but he was also so friendly and kind in his manner. My parents felt entirely at ease with him, and we’re so grateful for his professionalism and care - we wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Steve came over to fix our switches and he did a brilliant job. He was very friendly and professional. He arranged to come the next day and was very efficient and arrived on time. I have no problems in recommending him to anyone. On 29/6/24 I called Steve out on an emergency as both my bedroom lights were not working. He came out the next day and was astonished at how our builders had left a live wire hanging from our bathroom ceiling. They had only covered it with duct tape which could have been a potentially life-threatening situation. In addition, some other wires were exposed and could have short-circuited. Thankfully Steve talked us through the situation and fixed the problem. If it wasn't for Steve one of our family members could have been either seriously injured or dead. We owe it to him big time. Apart from that Steve as always is friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

Steve and Facelift Electrical rewired our entire house, and did an absolutely excellent job for us. Steve did the job quickly, efficiently and really thought through the process to make sure we had the best result at the end. Steve really pulled out all of the stops to make sure the job could get done as quickly as possible, whilst not compromising on the result. The job was completed ahead of schedule, on budget, there was excellent communication throughout and after completing the job. It was important to us that the rewiring took account of our future renovation plans, which Steve meticulously planned into the project, thinking of things we hadn't and putting his many years of experience into making sure the job went smoothly. It is so difficult to know who to trust when it comes to who to hire for these things, but we cannot recommend Facelift high enough.

I initially just booked with Facelift as I needed a second quote on some work and saw the reviews, but I did end up choosing Facelift after they provided a quote which included making sure none of the electrical work was visible (e.g. no trunking or drilling in countertops). This was for my grandmother, who has dementia, so having unknown people in the house can be quite distressing, but she had nothing but nice things to say about Steve and his team, who were kind and patient with us. They were also good at addressing both myself and my grandmother (quite often these days I notice people just addressing me as a carer on her behalf, which is uncomfortable for us both). In terms of the work itself, they rewired the kitchen ring and replaced the fuse box a whole day earlier than scheduled, which was highly appreciated due to aforementioned stress to my grandmother, and they did a fantastic job. You'd never know they'd been there at all, taking care to tidy up as much as possible. Have already recommended them to others, thanks so much for doing a great job! Update, booked again for another job: Steve replaced our old overhead lights with more efficient bulbs. There are a few more complex things which we've asked for that he will quote on and work on separately but he quoted on and booked in the simplest of our jobs really fast, and did the work very quickly and efficiently, explaining what he was doing etc. Second time I've asked him to do electrical work, would recommend.

What a great Company to deal with from my initial phone call to job completion. Steve is a brilliant electrician, very professional and friendly and offers good advice. Steve and his apprentice Kash did a good job changing various light fittings and were methodical and tidy in their work and all completed at a good price. Really pleased with their work and their great attitude and will definitely use again as they are so reliable.

From 1st contact Steve came within an hour and replaced my external wall light fitting (which a builder broke whilst rendering). Steve is an exceptional electrician and I would definitely call him again for other projects. He is funny, courteous, professional and reasonably priced.

Very efficient service, fully rewiring my flat. Steve under promises, then over delivers. The job was done quicker than expected and to a very high standard. His team do not waste any time and the work is fully compliant. It was a difficult job as the wiring had to be embedded in the walls and taken up through the loft, (I have a concrete floor)but it was done with minimum disruption and to the estimate. Steve gave me very good advice and was able to solve any problems that arose. Highly recommended.

We had an issue with the lights flickering in several rooms, and needed electricity shut off to our garage. Steve was completely honest about the problem with the lights, which turned out to have been with the bulbs we were using rather than the wiring (some traders would no doubt have diagnosed a more complicated/expensive issue, but Steve’s honesty saved us a lot of extra hassle and money). The issue with shutting off the power was sorted with minimal fuss. All in all was a great experience, with Steve being honest, friendly and generally full of great advice, as well as getting the job done quickly and thoroughly. Would definitely recommend!

Steve was great turned up within 5 mins of calling on a Saturday. Had to call out a colleague who also came out very quickly. Managed to get my cooker and switch installed quick. Also very professional and friendly to talk too. Couldn’t recommend anyone more than him. Will definitely be calling him for any further electrical work.

Highly recommended: Steve doesn't just go the extra mile for his clients - he goes the extra ten miles! He has done a lot of electrical work for us over the years, all of it excellent; the latest job was to install a kitchen extractor fan unit into the space of the old metal wall grille. The unit looks great and works brilliantly. Steve also removed disused lights set into a stainless steel panel across the chimney breast above the gas hob. The panel had corroded and Steve very kindly offered to remove it because we were planning to get it replaced. He even kept his sense of humour when a cloud of dust descended on him and his assistant Kash as they removed it. They were brilliant throughout, including doing the clean-up. Steve was also very helpful in giving me the number of an excellent tradesman who came soon after to measure up for a new panel so we could get it replaced quickly. We're so grateful to Steve - he's the best!

My partner and I hired Facelift Electrical Services for a full rewire of our home. Steve, was excellent, professional and very skilled and competent at his trade. Throughout the process he explained to us what he was doing, not just at the beginning and end of each day, but throughout the day. I have used Steve's services several times in the last few years. He's always been completely professional and thorough. He gives very full details of planned work whilst quoting, and when carrying out the work he leaves no stone un-turned. The work he carries out is always to a very high quality. Having experienced my fair share of bad workmen in my time, I'm very pleased to have found Steve (..he fixed the mess a previous electrician left behind!) and I will be using him any time I have electrical work in the future.

Steve and his apprentice arrived at my home within an hour of our call. They both wore PPE in line with current health measures. Steve is knowledgeable and efficient. He identified the issue with my shower with ease and speed, explained the issue to me and talked me through realistic and affordable options should the issue arise again. I was instantly reassured by his professionalism and personable nature. I would highly recommend and recommend intend to use Steve again for more electrical work in my home and in my parents home too.

Called out this electrician to fix a faulty cable, said he had to diagnose the problem first, I explained that there was an earth fault as indicated by a plug in diagnostic tool I had, electrician turned up with very bad attitude, used his diagnostic tool to tell me exactly what I told him, he then suggested I changed the cable, I said that’s what I called him in for, he said he only diagnoses the problem and then could recommend a friend of his to do the works and then charged me £80 call out, I then asked for a receipt and he hand wrote the receipt, then came back with a dodgy printed receipt which had faded ink, very in professional and unfriendly, also told me had to ask ‘governor’ about everything but when I asked to speak to the ‘governor’ he claimed he was the governor. If you want a job done don’t use this guy, he only charges call out then says he is too busy to carry out works. Total con man.

Courteous, prompt and professional service. Was experiencing a shorting circuit on a Sunday, but Steve still happily turned up post 9pm, sourced and fixed the problem. He gave strong advice, no hard sells and went the extra mile in my opinion to deliver a service and not leave me without power in the late hour. I'll definitely be calling on him again when I'm in a position to make proper improvements and highly recommend anyone reading this to give him a shout.
