I got Scott at Lampern Renewable back to add another battery module to my Sigenergy stack and add the DCEV charger module while he was at it to future proof us for 2 EV’s, rather than just the one we have now. This allows us to make additional arbitrage from low charging rate to discharge at peak rate and have plenty of capacity to run the whole house in the darkest days of winter. I’ll start with this: if you need anything solar or battery related, speak to Scott at Lampern Renewables. I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The previous owners of our house had the inverter and battery installed in the shallow loft. It got hot… and I mean really hot. We wanted to add more battery storage, but also relocate the inverter outside where it could operate in a much better environment. I contacted Scott and had a response almost immediately. He came out to assess the job, talked through the options and put together a really competitive quote to relocate the inverter around 15 metres to the side of the house and install two Fox ESS EP12 batteries. Today was installation day. Scott and his brother Sean arrived exactly when they said they would and simply got on with it. They spent hours working in a stupidly hot loft removing the old setup before installing everything in a fairly tight outside space. My contribution to the project consisted of water and the occasional ice lolly! The quality of the workmanship is exceptional. I’m pretty particular about things, but even my own OCD was impressed. I’ve dealt with plenty of renewable energy companies over the years, but I’ve honestly never met installers who care as much about the finished result as Scott and Sean do. Every cable and fitting has been installed with real pride, and it shows. What really topped it off was the little things they didn’t have to do. While they were here they fixed a bit of gutter for me, replaced a couple of clips on the solar panels, popped a slipped roof tile back into place and happily lent a hand with a few other bits. They even left the place spotless afterwards and took away a couple of bits of rubbish that I needed to get to the tip. None of that was expected, but it says a lot about the kind of people they are. Scott and Sean are an absolute credit to their trade. Professional, friendly, meticulous and clearly passionate about what they do. Thank you both - I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Scott from Lampern Renewables is the right person for your solar/battery solution. From the first meeting he makes sure that your house energy needs are catered for. From his experience he will provide pros and cons to each battery system you’re considering. This really helps narrow down the decision making process. The installation was seamless from start to finish. Being completed within a week was fantastic to see and the level of service during the handover of such an installation was outstanding. The work is of the highest standard, the team were conscientious and respectful of our property and even the tidying up was exemplary. If you are in considering having an EV charger or other renewable technology installed it would be very easy to do a lot worse. I am however not sure how you could manage to do better. I had an Electric Vehicle Charger installed yesterday by Lampern Renewables and it isn’t often i give reviews but felt I had to because the hole service was first class. Firstly they said they would arrive at 8am and at 7.59am the were reversing on to my drive. The installation work involved a bit of drilling through a wall and a lot of care was shown not to damage the wall rendering and the finish and cable routing is great. In addition to the excellent installation Scott spent a lot of time explaining how to use the App which I found extremely helpful. Also suggesting I look at some other tariffs which will give me access to cheaper electricity at night which I am in the process of switching to. Thanks Scott

Had the pleasant experience of Scott fitting a Hypervolt EV charger for me. From starting of as a ‘simple’ EICR and EV charge point, the work turned in to a full rewire!
