I can’t recommend Amy’s Electrics highly enough. I first used her about five years ago after a friend and neighbour recommended her, and her team did an excellent job back then. This time around, Amy clearly explained what needed to be done and how she’d approach the work. Her honesty, integrity, and depth of knowledge are genuinely refreshing in the trades industry. The quality of her work is consistently first-class.

Had an electrical fault somewhere in my flat. Called up Amy and she managed to squeeze in a visit to me a couple hours later. She found the fault and resolved in all within 2 hours and explained to me clearly what was going on (in an understandable way for an eegit like me). Highly recommend for the service alone but she's also just proper nice!

I highly recommend Amy’s Electricals. They recently changed three extractor fans in our bathrooms, and we couldn’t be happier with the service. The team were friendly, professional and reliable from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, so we understood the work being done, and they carried it out quickly and efficiently. Usually inviting tradesmen into the home is a stressful and traumatic experience. Amy and her team are just the opposite. They’re lightning fast, work super hard, and are extremely professional and polite. Just a joy to have around. Amy is very clear with her pricing, no surprise costs. They’re really respectful and careful of your home—shoes off, no touching of freshly painted walls, tidied up after themselves, vacuumed etc. They really know their stuff, I’ll be recommending to anyone who asks if I know an electrician!

We need a switch changing. Amy was great. She’s friendly and easy to communicate with. Booking an appointment was really straightforward, she arrived exactly when she said she would and were really pleased with the job. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Lovely people

Amy and Tash showed up bang on time and resolved the issue that electricians from another company were unable to locate over two previous appointments. They were friendly, precise, cleaned up after themselves, explained everything they did and went above and beyond by spotting a couple of other errors from the previous contractors and rectifying them in addition to what I'd called them out to do. This business charges by the hour but you have never seen electricians move so fast so the value for money is excellent.

Drove off in a huff after I asked for identification and a few mins to sort myself out as I wasn’t feeling well (which I had made clear). Very odd!

Professional, efficient, transparent pricing-the Holy Grail except more useful As the title of this review suggests this company was fantastic. They had the patience and knowledge to identify the problem, solved it quickly and efficiently and I knew what it was going to cost because of their clear pricing policy on the website. Part of me doesn't want to recommend them because once you used Amy's Electrics it's unlikely you'll go elsewhere else and that's going to make them very busy. But in a bid to live a more selfless life I'm going to be kind and share the joy.

The buyers for our flat booked Amy's Electrics for an electrical inspection and they were the perfect tradespeople. Nothing was a problem, they were friendly, thorough and efficient, explained anything they did and even got a light working that hadn't done so for years. I was so impressed that I asked for a card so if in my new flat I need electrical work done, I can employ them and pass on their details to friends. Amy and Katie were the kind of people I could get on with and not feel stupid asking if I didn't understand something. If I can champion people with great skills then I will, regardless of gender, but I know several women who live alone or would be home alone with tradespeople and would feel safer and more able to ask questions of other women than with tradesmen. I would definitely recommend this company.

Recommended to me by my neighbour, I received amazing service from Amy’s Electrics. I emailed about a job late afternoon, received a reply early the next morning, and two delightful electricians arrived later that same day. They fixed the problem, carrying out the work quickly and carefully, with the utmost respect for me and my property. What a lovely, refreshingly helpful company to have found. I now know who to call for any future electrical work.

Squeezed me in at very short notice with an emergency bathroom lighting situation. Happily fitted round my health needs. Friendly and flexible on the parking scenario. I cannot recommend this company enough. Professional, personal and actually really nice to have in my house! Amy and her team were so helpful and supportive with all of the work we needed on our flat, as well as being super easy to talk to and ask questions about the work needed. Superb value for money too. I have experienced Amy’s Electrics Company on 3 separate occasions both Amy in person and also her team on separate occasion and the level of service and expert advice was 2nd to None!! Amy & her super capable team of women have done a few jobs at my house now. Getting a trades person you trust is a rare find & I wont ever use anyone else again! They are honest & take the time to explain the best course of action. They are always explicit with plans & manage damage expectations well. They work methodically & rarely stop, mostly ploughing through laborious work for hours. They are always respectful & personable & I feel really comfortable having them in my home, whether I’m there or not (they always leave the house spotless). Even when there have been tricky scenarios, I have felt comforted by their ‘anything is possible’ attitude & tenacity to solve problems. They always are quick to recommend other trades & have put me in touch with some fabulous other people, who all together, have made my place my home. Thank you Amy’s electrics, you are all a real pleasure to see, I’m going to have to start creating some faults for you to come back!

I booked Amy as she came highly recommended within the neighbourhood. I needed a new fuse board and landlord certificates. Amy was very professional, efficient and hard working. Would definitely recommend this company. And she tidied everything up at the end even though I told her there was no need.
