I wanted a local electrician to fix some outside sensor lights. I saw Billy's reviews and asked for a quote by email. He came back with a clear, reasonable price. He sent a couple of more emails to ensure we got the right units. On the day, he arrived on time, very respectful of our home ( put overshoes on when inside ) very pleasant and very good at what he does ( My Dad and brother were electricians, so a bit of inside knowledge 🙂). He completed the work to a high standard, ( and the sensor lights work!), within the projected time scale - And the invoice was absolutely in line with his quote. I was very impressed with his communication, arranging when he could fo the job and on the day messaging his ETA. We now have a local 'Go-to' electrician! I highly recommend Billy for electrical work.

Billy came to fit a new induction hob, but when he removed the existing one, he found the electrics weren’t suitable for the new installation. He took the time to clearly explain the issue and the potential options for getting things up to standard. Even though he spent quite a while here removing the old hob (and even had to take out the oven to access the sockets), he didn’t charge for his time, which was incredibly fair and appreciated. Everything was put back neat and tidy afterwards. He was reliable, trustworthy, and very clear in his explanations — I’d have full confidence in his advice and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for future electrical work. Highly recommended!

Billy fitted an Hypervolt EV charger at our house, and did a great job. He was friendly, professional, took time to explain things, and very tidy. He was also communicative and very swiftly helped us resolve an issue with setting up the charger app, even though he’d finished the job. Would recommend to others.

His quote was competitive and reasonable. He was unfazed by the existing hotch-potch wiring, pragmatic and did a great job. Great job from Billy, starting with a thorough full-system check and spotting a few things that needed fixing. Absolutely brilliant electrician – highly recommend Selkent Electical! We’ve had Billy help us out with loads of electrical work over time – both big jobs and small ones – and honestly, he’s been amazing every step of the way. He’s done everything from full kitchen wiring to fitting spotlights and under-cabinet lights, and everything has been done to an incredibly high standard. Billy is super professional, always on time, and incredibly organised. He somehow manages to leave the place even cleaner than it was when he arrived! He’s also just a genuinely lovely person – polite, friendly, and really easy to have around the house. If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and who really takes pride in their work, I can’t recommend Billy enough. Total gem!

Really really happy with Billy, great communication, the work done was top notch, tidy and clean. Came earlier than scheduled and did such a great job. He even corrected some wiring that was put in wrongly be the previous electrician. Very knowledgeable and will definitely use his services again and recommend him to family and friends.

We had Billy rewire our house, later add extra sockets in the garage and garden, and some additional work. All the work was carried out to a very high standard. We're very pleased with Billy and will continue to use his services when we need a reliable electrician.

It is a joy to watch a skilled professional trades-person take such pride in their work. Billy (Selkent Ltd) is a perfectionist, to the point where he replaced a dodgy light switch he didn't like the look of whilst attending to a different job at no extra charge. If six stars was an option I would give it.

I noticed a burning smell in our kitchen of an evening and we could never figure out where it was coming from. Last week I discovered that one of the old Fluorescent lights under the kitchen cupboards had was burning through the power socket in to the light. I called Billy at Toca Electrical and we discussed the options of either replace the defective light or replace all of them [4 Fluorescents] with new LED lights. We agreed on the work and Billy gave me a very reasonable price, he did the work quickly and took all the old lights away with him.

Billy has rewired our house, whilst we were living in it, then come back each time we refurbish a room or bathroom, run electrics down to the shed and helped us out at every step of the way. It makes a huge difference to me and my partner having someone we really like who we can rely on. Very fair pricing and a true gent, what more could you want....also the work is extremely neat and tidy (gives us all something to aspire too lol)

Toca Electrical installed a new fan, spot lights, and a niche light into my newly refurbished bathroom, as well as a USB socket in my bedroom. Billy was professional, polite, and kept me updated throughout. He was also exceptionally tidy. No responsible. Called for quotation but told me to wait for he text for aking my full detail. Take 1 day for the text asking my full detail. After asking and not reply me by email or text. For an other few day. This company dont take serious to customer at all. No recommend
