Very knowledgeable and great service

We asked Peckfords to repair a light fitting 5 minutes walk from their office in Oakwood. After 8 days, 2 visits and 4 phonecalls, I visited the shop, where a rude and surly man called Cliff refused to attend to undertake the repair. He was bad-tempered and shockingly rude. Keep clear of this company. Further note: I see that the shop owner has now responded. But he is not telling the truth. A fee for the service had been agreed and so it was a professional service that was not supplied. As to the shop owner's behaviour, it was unprovoked - he was impolite from the moment I entered the shop, unprofessional and he should have done the decent thing and apologised instead of trying to justify himself.

I employed Peckfords to rewire my flat. They provided an excellent service. They turned up on time and did a professional job -completed earlier than they had predicted with minimal mess. I had been told by other firms that the new wiring could not be put through existing conduits but Peckfords mostly managed this with ease without me having to lower ceilings or have plastic trunking everywhere. When something needed changing they came round after the job to sort it out. I would definitely recommend.Many thanks. RM
