Great bunch of electricians. Did some lovely lights in our garden and pond pump. Came back and replaced the transformer two years later when it blow. Reasonable labour costs

We were very happy with the fault-finding on cabling to our oven and fixing of a new electric oven that W5 Electrical carried out for us. They answered our enquiry promptly, sent an electrician in a reasonable time and he did the job efficiently within an hour.

Kieran did a good job of fitting an exterior wall socket for EV charging. Would recommend.

We hired Kieran to handle the mounting and electrical installation of our security system, and we couldn't be happier. He started with a thorough site visit to assess our options and provided a clear, detailed breakdown of the costs and requirements upfront. On the day of the installation, Kieran was extremely professional and meticulous. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality electrical work.

First class electrical work on two jobs from Kieran & William, two lovely guys. One job was moving plug sockets etc. to make way for building work, the other was rewiring wall lights after an historic cable fault was discovered when a new consumer unit was fitted. The only issue was communication: we were told Kieran would call to discuss repairing the cable fault – I was expecting a next day phone call, but it took three weeks of chasing – leaving the job unfinished (and 2 lights not working) for that length of time. Hence 4 stars overall, but 5 stars for the electrical work (and we’ll happily use them again).

Not often in the habit of leaving reviews but Kieran and Will were both such a pleasure to work with. The quality of work was great but it was the advice they provided along the way that really impressed me. They could have carried out the tasks without hesitating but they always made suggestions or asked questions about follow up works that saved me significant headaches down the line. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

From my initial contact with Josette, W5 Electrical were quick, courteous, thoughtful and careful. Kieran and William could not have done more to do the job well (removal of an integrated fridge) and installation of a socket to install the new fridge. They did a fantastic job - thank you!

I am very happy with the work done by W5 Electrical Ltd. I requested a quote to fix my existing outdoor lighting and to add more lights. Kieran visited my house the day after I requested a visit, discussed the scope of the work and suggested a plan. I booked the job for the following week, and Will replaced some lights, mended faulty connections and now the lights look fantastic. Well done, W5 Electrical, I am very pleased with their work.

Terrible communication. No matter how busy you are, others are too. Over the past two years, every time I’ve reached out about a job, I had to wait days or even weeks to get a response.

Had a new light fitting that needed to be installed into our ceiling rose to finish off our newly decorated living room. Kieran arrived on time and was very knowledgable, friendly and confident in his work. He put down dust sheets and even wore gloves so as not to get any fingerprints on the new fitting. He worked quickly, cleaned up, dusted the light for good measure and was out within the hour. I've used a few local electricians and found his pricing to be very reasonable, plus he's aware of his surroundings and doesn't treat your home like a workshop. I imagine this is an easy job for a qualified electrician but the extra steps he took to ensure it went up smoothly and that we were happy with the placement etc. was much appreciated and set him above others I've used in the past. I would definitely use him again.

I didn't use the business, because they are never in to answer the phone to pick up business in the first instance. Have tried maybe 5 separate occasions only to get an answer phone. Doesnt bode well for responsiveness once on a job.

Not cheap, but competent. It’s good to have the garden lights and fountain working properly again. They installed security lights and a video doorbell, and replaced a dimmer switch.
