Customers note that solar panel and battery installations are often priced competitively and completed efficiently, with on-site technicians providing clear guidance on system operation. However, many reviews report high-pressure sales methods, property damage during fitting, and difficulties obtaining deposit refunds following cancellations. Further complaints highlight poor post-installation communication, including missed repair appointments, unresolved battery faults, and issues securing mortgage approvals following spray foam insulation.

We are still waiting to sell back to the grid evergreen are not answering are calls 🙄 . Called to day at 1230 .was told the person you need to speak to in a meeting . Again and again . Take it form me i only give a honest review and a truthful response to my experience
Avoid Evergreen Power UK. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. They installed our solar panels in October and damaged our roof by breaking several tiles during the installation. We reported the damage immediately, emailed photographs as evidence, and then spent months chasing them with countless phone calls because they simply ignored our complaint. After several months of excuses and delays, they finally arranged an appointment to inspect the damage, and a further appointment was made for today 30.06.2026 between 8:00am and 11:00am. We booked annual leave from work specifically so we could be at home. Nobody turned up. At 12:30pm I called the office to find out what was going on. Instead of apologising, I was told that someone had supposedly visited our property and taken photographs. That is simply not what happened. We were at home the entire time. Nobody knocked. Nobody rang the doorbell. Nobody called. Nobody came. After months of waiting, being ignored, and wasting our time, to then be told that someone attended when, from our perspective, nobody did is beyond frustrating. It feels like they were trying to avoid taking responsibility rather than dealing with a genuine customer complaint. The installation damaged our property, customer service has been appalling, communication has been almost non-existent, and even when they finally arranged to put things right, they failed to turn up. I have completely lost confidence in Evergreen Power UK. If this is how they treat customers after they’ve been paid, I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using them to think very carefully before signing a contract.
Great if you want cheap solar but aftercare is terrible. If everything works great but if you have a problem you'll be pulling your hair out.
A £500 refundable deposit was provided prior to installation. I changed my mind down the line and have not heard from the company since regarding refunding the deposit!
Paid £10,000 for a system in November…daily phone calls and dozens of emails, keep being fobbed off. Its almost 7 months and still not working! Total avoid!!
Last month, we had Evergreen Power UK install our solar panels and battery. The entire process was smooth, and their communication was excellent. The installation team was not only friendly but also diligent in completing the job on schedule. They left our home tidy and took the time to ensure we understood how the system works. The app is user friendly, and it's wonderful to see the amount of energy we're already generating!
From start to finish, our experience with Evergreen Power UK was incredibly smooth. They communicated with us regularly, stuck to their timeline, and delivered exactly what we had discussed. The installation team was not only professional but also very friendly. The system is working perfectly, and it's great to be able to monitor everything through the app. Overall, it was a completely seamless and stress-free experience.
We had an excellent experience with Evergreen Power UK. The quote was simple to understand, and the installation went off without a hitch. The team was very friendly as well. Before they finished up, they took a moment to explain how everything operates, which really boosted our confidence. Since then, the system has been running smoothly, and we've noticed a decline in our electricity bills. We're really happy with our decision!
Evergreen Power UK did an excellent job with our solar installation. From the very first survey all the way to the completed setup, everything was well organized and professional. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made sure to keep the area clean. Before they left, they took the time to explain how the system works, which was really helpful. We've already noticed a reduction in our electricity usage, even in just the first few weeks. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would gladly recommend them to others.
I recently had an installation by UK Evergreen Power, and I couldn't be happier. From the initial consultation to the final setup, the team was incredibly professional. They took the time to answer all my questions and concerns, and their aftersales support has been just as responsive. The installation itself was surprisingly fast and smooth—they were completely finished by lunchtime! The electrician was a huge help; he guided me through the SolisCloud account setup and explained the system clearly. He even offered a dedicated office contact for further app support, though I managed to find the extra details I needed online. It’s great to know that level of support is available if needed. Highly recommended!
Really great experience with the Solar PV installation from start to finish. The company provided scaffolding in-house which meant the whole thing took less than a full day with the scaff down by 3pm. The lovely lads working on the roof cleaned out my gutter while up there which was incredibly kind of them, and the electrician took the time to explain the system and keep me in the loop throughout the install. To top it all off, they were £4,000 cheaper than the other company who quoted!
Great pitch, seems to be a great product, shame about the pushy sales process. 7 calls in 1 day and follow up messages turned me from feeling really positive after the initial informative consultation and wanting to sign the contract, to completely turned off and not wanting to go anywhere near a company that is so harassing to make a sale.
Process from appointment to order was very easy.Although I was encouraged to do a deal quickly I made my own terms and of a sale and had several other quotations over next few days before making final decision to go with Evergreen and then gave them a counter offer to encourage me to sign on which I did. The install was planned within 4days and this was the case . Scaffolding turned up at 08.00 on time, then an electrician and finally installers. All carried out their work and panels were up Scaffolding down and only electric supply left to connect by 14.30. Panels were live around 16.15 and a lesson in operation and paperwork. Quite alot to take in. Only downside of installation the panel fitters and Scaffolding could of done with a better clean up and a brush around pavements pick up screws bolts cabletie end left over, took me a little time instead which I would of probably done again anyway. Electrician cleared away everything very neat and tidy. Had a problem with system 3days in my fault playing with App, but called Tech help and they called back an hour later and cant fault them absolutely brilliant, got system up and running talked through what I did wrong ,how I need to work through app to do what I was trying, I can not fault the tech help side of things as I found them. One thing that could be improved is the invoice email with the help line numbers and YouTube links needs updating to correct links. Overall very happy with sales service and after sales service.
Great value. In business longer than most other solar companies. They know their stuff. Good support. Understand older roofs for solar bracket systems. Good technical support after installation. We have gone from expensive electricity bills to pretty much zero. Doesn't get better than that.
Poor Aftercare and Communication – Ongoing Battery Issue. We have had our solar system installed by Evergreen Power UK Ltd for just over a year, so we feel we are now able to give a fair assessment of both the installation and the aftercare service. Unfortunately, our experience with support has been extremely disappointing. An engineer visited our property in January 2026 and confirmed that the solar battery is faulty and needs replacing. Since then, we have spent months trying to get the issue resolved. We have sent multiple emails across January, February and March asking for updates. At one point we were told the company was waiting for a delivery of the replacement battery and that we would be contacted to arrange the installation. However, several appointments have been arranged where no technician arrived, and in some cases we received no communication or explanation on the day. On a few occasions, we were informed at short notice that the electrician could not attend. Despite all of this, the faulty battery has still not been replaced and no clear installation date has been given. We have repeatedly taken time out of our schedules waiting for technicians who never arrived. After having the system for over a year, it is clear that while installation may be straightforward, the after-sales support and communication need serious improvement. We hope the company will now resolve this issue as soon as possible.
The cost was competitive. The surveyor was efficient and knowledgeable. The installation team did the job in less than a day. They were very polite, helpful, efficient and tidy. Everything was done with excellent communication and consideration given to my requirements. I now have a good understanding of how my system operates and how to optimise its use. Well done.
I contacted 7 different local and national companies for a quote. Despite a heavily salesy approach Evergreen were the quickest, best value and one of the more helpful companies. It all happened quickly, the install team were fantastic and I’m very happy with the product and install. The panels are working great even in winter and I’m saving already. Special thank you to George the sales guy and Tom the installer.
The company provided a solid and cost competitive product. Good communication and delivery. There was some accidental damage during installation, not a big deal things happen. Unfortunately this has required constant chasing, emails not replied to, phone calls not returned and now in a situation where I'm out of pocket and have damage to repair.
We decided not to proceed with our solar and battery installation with Evergreen Power UK after a disappointing experience during the initial home visit. The young salesperson was at our property for around an hour and a half. We walked around the house discussing the system they offer, which was fine. We then sat down and he opened his laptop to go through various details, including their accreditations — again, no issue with that. However, things took a negative turn when he began asking about other quotes we had received. He then started Googling those companies in front of us and making negative remarks such as, “Would you really go with a company that’s only been running for two years?” While he may have thought he was helping, I found it unprofessional and uncomfortable. When it came to the quotation, he used their online tool where you draw your roof and select the number of panels and the online tool generated prices for different systems. The initial price seemed high (£10,400), so he phoned his manager. After several calls, the price suddenly dropped by £2,000, and he included a free panel and inverter upgrade. I’m not sure whether this was a sales tactic, but it certainly felt like one — especially considering the advertised price on their website for 10 panels and a 10 kW battery was £7,999. We were quoting for an identical setup but with two additional panels. There is simply no way that two extra panels justify an extra £2,400, even when factoring in scaffolding on two sides of the house rather than just one. I mentioned that I needed time to think before leaving a deposit, which in hindsight was a mistake, because this is when I felt pressured. He questioned why I needed time, emphasised the refundable deposit, and continued pushing for a commitment. Some of the comments made were also questionable. For example, he claimed that if you install a battery inside your home, the fire service would not enter the property in the event of a fire and that we could get in trouble for not informing them. I’m not an expert, but this simply cannot be true — there is no regulation preventing home battery installation indoors (although it is recommended to avoid living spaces). Overall, the visit left us feeling uncomfortable, pressured, and felt others would give into the pressure.
I had 12 solar panels, Inverter and 2 batteries fitted by Evergreen Power on 21st July 2025 and experienced excellent service from the whole team. I think the electrician was called Matty. Very Scottish. I ordered a further 6 panels and they were fitted by Jazz, Chris and Kane last Saturday. Gales were blowing on the due date but they came back the next day and completed the work. They were polite, pleasant and helpful. Thank you lads. Being a retired Training Manager, I find the colleagues across the Evergreen Company extremely well trained.
Had a good and professional quote, but the quality of the products they were proposing was at the lower end of the spectrum which meant a good / lower price. Then we had the normal sales tactics of trying to get a refundable deposit and doing a deal for the end of the month! However, when I went with a different supplier the company has kept on and on pestering me with emails and phones calls to the point it has become ridiculous and now I’ve had to block all their numbers.
I had system for 1 year and all works fine and now only minimal amount of electricity I get from grid. Delighted with a decision to install solar panels, as I have drastically reduced my energy bill. It feels liberating to create your own energy. Went with Evergreen following their FB advert. Despite a bit pushy sales technique they seemed genuine, and especially reassuring is that they have been around for several years. Original installation date slipped (and thus 4 stars instead of 5), but installation went smoothly and I was up and running after 1.5 days. Aftercare response could be better.
I hope that evergreen powder respond to my review. I’m sharing this as they were supposed to be doing my solar installation. The sales team did an exceptional job in answering all my questions and helping me to understand how solar might help me. The deposit was paid and the guys turned up on site to install. Then the problem arose. They complained about my existing scaffolding (due to other building work), they said that I was sold too many panels/the wrong size of panels/panels couldn’t be put on one of the roofs etc etc. I asked them what they wanted to do, they said they needed to go back and discuss. They didn’t have the panels or anything with them to install so I’m not really sure what they were sent to do. There was no DNO application (which it turns out should be done before install). When they came back a few hours later (without telling me they were returning) they said they were ready to install, but again had no panels or anything to install with them 🤷♂️ I told them I wanted to cancel as my confidence and trust in them was lost. I was advised over the phone that my deposit would be fully returned. Luckily I paid by creditcard because it took almost a month of constant chasing and then stating I’d have to do a chargeback if the deposit is not refunded… They wanted to send the money back via creditcard but into my bank account… I don’t know why but they told me that returning the deposit to the creditcard would take 1 month, but a bank transfer would be 2 weeks. The deposit was finally returned to my back account when I told them I have the paperwork ready to submit the chargeback claim at 6pm that day. The money was returned at 4pm. I have had an install of solar done by another company who did the DNO application before starting, came on site with the install equipment and did the job with constant checking in with me we could do it like this or that’ what would you prefer. It is wonderful. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Evergreen power at all - summary is: great sales team but fall through on delivery of what is sold and then you have to fight to get your deposit back.
Very professional from first interaction with surveyor (Effie is the best), to the very end (getting energy network approval). Installation done in one day and quality is good. Good price too.
We had Evergreen sales rep come over Adrian he knows everything about his job and makes you feel right at ease. The team come altogether and they do the job with ease and work well as a team and they where very professional and friendly bunch of workers and the scaffolding was up and down in no time at all I was surprised how quick they got the panels up !! Very impressed and savings started straight away ! Would recommend to everyone
I had an absolutely fantastic experience getting my solar panels installed by Evergreen Power. From start to finish, their team demonstrated professionalism and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. The process began with Adrian, the surveyor, who was incredibly knowledgeable. He patiently spent nearly four hours discussing all my options and answering every single one of my questions in detail. His expertise made me feel very confident in my decision. On installation day, Robert and Terry arrived promptly and worked with remarkable efficiency. It was clear that customer satisfaction is a priority for them, as they explained each step of the installation process thoroughly. The panels were installed smoothly and the work was completed right on schedule. A special thank you to Robert, who patiently addressed all my numerous questions during the installation – his detailed explanations were much appreciated! The electrical work was carried out on a separate day by Rees, who was equally impressive. He was spot on, completing the wiring and getting the solar panel system up and running within just three hours. His efficiency and skill were excellent. Overall, I received flawless service from this wonderful team. I highly recommend Evergreen Power for anyone considering solar panel installation!
Outstanding Solar Panel Installation! Mickey Cain and Joe were friendly, professional, and highly skilled. They took care of everything efficiently, left no mess behind, and did an excellent job installing our solar panels. The whole process was smooth, and their attention to detail was top-notch. Highly recommend their service to anyone considering solar!
I had open cell foam insulation done in my loft in Dec 2022. At the time all was done as I expected. I heard later that there might be problems with obtaining mortgages with foam insulation, if I were to sell. I looked into it and thought that would only apply if the closed cell foam was done. I have had the foam and timbers tested today confirming a high moisture reading as it hadn't been installed correctly, not leaving enough room for ventilation, particularly in the eaves, so condensation could not escape. I am now having to pay to have it taken out. I am very unhappy about this as both the Government who were championing this, and yourselves, should have made sure about how this product works before installing. My late husband saved up his money to use to make things better in the house and he would be spinning in his grave.
Mickie and Roland turned up on time and despite a very wet start were cheerful and happy throughout the install. They were so polite all day and took great care during the install with my roofing, even pointing out an already damaged tile and relocating it for an easy fix. Panels were perfectly centred on the roof to give a good look. They cleared the site up and left it as clean as when they arrived. A great team to have had to do the install, and would recommend Evergreen along with Mickie and Roland.
Just seen an evergreen van throw a crisp packet out of the window. Polar bears and trees plastered all over it, but zero respect for the environment. Not really the look you want to be giving?
We had an unfortunate experience with Evergreen Power's customer service, unfortunately we had to cancel the service we had contracted with them due to unforeseen circumstances. While they were very eager to take payment of the deposit immediately upon agreement of the work, their response to returning the deposit after we issued a cancellation notice (well within the legal cooling-off period) was unacceptably slow. It took far longer than the 14 days period for them to refund the deposit, and the process was marred by poor communication and a lack of transparency. We found their team was aggressive and unhelpful, offering little clarity on the steps or timeline for the refund. It felt as though these delays were deliberate, further adding to our frustration. Based on their disappointing customer service, we will not be reaching out to Evergreen Power for any future work. I strongly advise others to think twice before hiring them. A company’s approach to customer service nowadays is as important as their work, and unfortunately, Evergreen Power failed us on this front.
Had a solar installation done by this company, had the worst experience with their customer service. I even had to turn up at the office to get a response! All they make are empty promises, I haven't got the time to sit around and wait. The switch on my system keeps tripping, I've had this problem 4 months after the instalation, which is over a year now! DO NOT use this company. They don't pick up the phone, they said they would send someone, and no one has come. Stay away from Evergreen, I spent so much money with them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY i done spray foam year ago, and now i can't get any mortgage, 6 lenders refuse my mortgage because of this spray foam, i have been misled with false information by the company, they reassured me that, this product has no impact on the roof, and will not cause any future problem when its comes to mortgage, As it turns out it does and now my house cannot be remortgage. When we request advice and help from customer service they refuse to help. The value of my house went from £400000 to £0. So please don't be fouled by this company.
Worst company.. Worst Customer service. During the first visit, the engineer promise to do all the jobs including change the rotten Joyce and wood where ever required and took deposit and book installation. Day before the installation, send the contract to sign and on contract not mentioned the some part of jobs to perform, so rejected the contract and ask them to rectify the contract and resend. Received new email to sign contract but the link was not working. So, call them and inform the situation. They said don't worry and will send with installation team. Next day, specially took day off from work, and they didn't turn up. Called 3-4 times and every time they keep saying that they call me back as no installation due to unsigned contract. No internal communication in company and worst customer service experience. Suggest anyone to beware before go ahead with this company. As before provide services, they behave like this, what we expect after sales!!!!!
This driver of your vehicle fleet number plate (LL16 YSK) has been found driving wrecklessly on M25 between junction 9 to 8 at 11:20 pm on 22nd July, either he was drunk or was under the influence of drug. He nearly crashed his vehicle multiple times with mine and others and kept changing his lanes deliberately without proper signal or indication. He also kept hard breaking unnecessarily in middle of a 70 Miles per hour in clear motorway. I also have video footage & photos which I am going to release on social media. This incident has been reported to Surrey Police for further action as I had a minor in the car.
We got a quotation after a leak came in our roof that had been recently repaired. I will preface this by saying we were quoted £5k+ by Evergreen Power, and got the actual problem fixed for £80 by a roofer. The sales team came round quickly and, upon inspection, told us they were certain that condensation was causing the leak (despite it being large and only happening in one place). I asked if there was possibly an issue with the roof and was told the roof was in perfect condition. They used typical tactics like cutting the price for us because we were "the worst case they'd seen". The sales manager quoted for building walls in the loft yet when we asked what they would be built from, she said "I don't know, I'm don't build them". They also quoted us over £200 for a dehumidifier which would apparently dry out the loft to prep for insulation. I had my own dehumidifier and placed this in the loft to see if it would draw any water, and even after days the tank was completely empty. Upon getting a roofer back to double-check the roof, we found out the leak was caused by damage to the roof after a storm. It was repaired two months ago and there have been no more problems, so the condensation is clearly not an issue. I have also read online accounts of people struggling to mortgage houses with this type of foam, despite how much they insist that it is fine. Would definitely avoid, especially if you plan to sell your house in future.
