Visiting from France where charity shops are a rarity. Monsieur Roberto and Madame Sandra assisted me and my wife with a level of professionalism one would be hard pressed to find in a Parisian boutique. Tres bien. Merci.
I called in to purchase a milk jug and left with several shopping bags full of wonderful haute couture. The two members of staff on duty, Sandra and Roby, were just like personal shoppers to me. So kind and skillful with excellent taste and perfect suggestions. My wallet took a hit but now my wardrobe is sorted for the coming seasons. Who needs New Bond Street or Selfridges?!

Extremely rude staff which is shocking for a charity shop. Especially the old white woman working in there. Attitude central! You’re better off giving your belongings to another charity. UPDATE: the manager of the Salvation Army came out of his store and proceeded to damaged vehicle 3 times by slamming the door into the front of the vehicle. Denting it and leavings large scrape on the front. Insurance will now be involved and I will be going after Salvation Army for compensation.
Great store with possibly the best range of high end second-hand items in Beckenham. Staff and volunteers are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Store is open Monday - Saturday 9 to 5 with exceptional closures for lunch breaks etc depending on volunteer availability. It's never open on Sundays or Public Holidays and it's always open on Wednesdays! It's a charity shop staffed mainly by volunteers giving of their time, knowledge and skills for free!
Went there this Monday just gone. The lady who covered the manager Sandra was a bit rude when I smiled, which left me a bit disappointed. But I love the shop though and I used to do work experience there.
Why is it always closed? Why is it open on random bank holidays and closed on a standard Wednesday? The staff are nice and the selection is ok, but you roll the dice on when it's going to be open (fair, it is a charity shop)
