I needed an ouside light replaced and a timer fitted. Sparklight dealt professionally with the job from enquiry stage to invoicing. Adam completed the job as required and was very pleasant to deal with. He knew exactly what needed to be done to minimise damage to walls and existing wiring. He had to go and collect some bits half way through but came back promptly (this isn't always a given with some people 😏) and finished the job. Very happy and would definitely support this local business again.

Chris, Mica and Casper came to my house today to replace a old fuse box, missing earth wires and light switch in the garage, replaced the outside security light and replaced two bathroom lights and they did an excellent job. Very polite, professional and they left the place neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend Sparklight to my neighbours, friends and colleagues.

Great service and a very fair price. Needed to fix an external light, which I myself struggled to fix. The next day from my call to Sparklight, Adam came. He saw it, and fixed the external light in less than half an hour. I was amazed at how friendly, full of energy and extremely professional Adam was. Would definitely call Sparklight again.

Sparklight were amazing so quick and efficient working as a team. It took 2 weeks from first enquiry to completion of the installation of replacement heating and fixing my lighting and that was because I hesitated to look at my options. A big thank you to Adam and Casper who completed the installation and to the behind the scenes team who handled my initial enquiry subsequent questions and booking in of the job. Every one has been easy to deal with and all very friendly.

Sparklight Ltd came to my home in Barnet today to carry out electrical work, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They were 100% professional, accommodating all my needs and overcoming tricky obstacles with ease. They stayed until the job was done to the highest standard. I'm really happy with the outcome and would fully recommend their services.

We had an emergency waste disposal appliance cable short circuit. I phoned the team who sent Chris within 1 hour. He mended the cable and saved us having to buy a new bit of kit (IMO most electricians would have not been able to do this and told us to buy a new appliance). In addition he cut away the back of a cupboard that was causing the problem. A great local company, fair and honest.

Very rude and very unhelpful. The man behind the counter is a dinosaur! For your information the small strip light package is still available online from various companies including Amazon. I was told these lights had gone out of fashion 15 years ago!!! He obviously couldn't be bothered to be polite.

I had an issue with my bathroom extractor fan. Called Sparklight and a few hours later Adam arrived and sorted the issue straight away. Everything is working perfectly now and he was very efficient!! Couldn’t recommend more!

Sparklight do ALL our landlords electrical work. Their workmanship and cleanliness is excellent and we highly recommend them for all residential and commercial work.

We have been using Sparklight for around 20 years and so trust them that we still use them after a move to a neighbouring Borough. The telephone is always answered promptly and the work carried out to a high standard and any mess is cleared up. I have used them both in an emergency situation and for non urgent repairs and work. I cannot rate them highly enough.

Recently had a new front door fitted and needed the wires to be moved and replaced which was done very efficiently by a friendly, knowledgeable electrician who came and carried out the work to a very high standard, offered advice and answered all my questions, Would highly recommend!

We got a call from Sparklight today after they’d been given our number by our estate agent. The man on the phone told us he wanted to come to the house to make it “nice and safe so I can be a nice wife and have lots of kids”. Incredibly inappropriate and uncomfortable, and we are honestly astounded at the outdated sexism and audacity displayed.

The next morning the engineer arrived at the house, assessed the required work and got on with it forwarding me the certificate that afternoon. No problems at all Adam fitted my spotlights perfectly what a nice chap aswell will definitely be calling him back for any electrical works in the future.

Very poor service and unprofessional team. No consistency of the work carries out and requested. Lack of skills and only superficial work will be provided.They make big mistakes and will not take responsibility. Instead the issue will remain unsolved, no responsibility will be taken and they will manipulate, lie and cover up about their mistakes. I categorically do not recommend to use Sparklight services.

When asked to do an electrical inspection they billed us before they had carried out the inspection, and weeks after doing the work that needed upgrading we had to ask, having paid, for the certificate which they had not sent.

Pro & great service

I was charged £300 for 1.5 hours labour for remedial work relating to an electrical inspection. When I queried the amount I was told it was a because it was a quote. They then reduced the labour by £100.

I had a problem with a chandelier, it was all a little bit complicated and I was concerned that it couldn’t be fixed but Sparklight sorted it! Very friendly service and they sorted out all of the issues with my light. Would definitely recommend them.

Fitted 13 recessed LED light fittings in my kitchen without mentioning that the supplier had sent me undersized ones which have a gap round them that will need filling and redecorating. Dimmer switch went after 2 days since it was overloaded and it was only after I got another electrician in that I was advised the dimmer was unsuitable for this situation and if replaced, it would break again. I would not use Sparklight again, they were unhelpful and rude when there were problems.

I have used sparklight numerous times to buy electrical items for home; they always give good advice about items I buy and the parts are always cheaper than other shops! I recently required an electrician because of a faulty electrical socket in one of the rooms at my house, they provided an electrician that same day who repaired the fault at a very reasonable price. This shop always provides excellent service.
