Disgusting Treatment of Installers – Avoid at All Costs I am an installer who carried out work for IZ Energy Services Ltd and I still have not been paid. This company has a clear pattern of not paying installers on time. When you ask for your money, they ignore your calls, stop replying to messages, and lie repeatedly about payment dates. They are highly unprofessional and expect people to work for free. Promises mean nothing to them, and they have no respect for tradesmen or contractors. Chasing payment from them is a complete waste of time. Third-class people running a third-class operation. I strongly warn any installer or contractor to stay well away from IZ Energy Services Ltd unless you want to be unpaid and messed around.

IZ energy is an absolute nightmare company! I had EWI done on my house With them Total shoddy workmanship had to keep getting them back to put issues right they didn’t always come back until months later. I had scaffolding up for a year which made our lives A misery to say the least. Years later, I’m still having to get them back due to more issues. they are now refusing to put an issue right! In the end due to shoddy workmanship, I had to go to Napit the certificate governing body but still have problems that they will not put Right. It’s been very upsetting and stressful. We certainly wouldn’t have gone ahead with this knowing what we know now.

“They supplied solar panels, unable to install them as my roof was damaged. I changed roof and requesting them to install. They failed to install solar panels in my home. I been requesting them for few months to install or take back the panels idol lying in my garden and they are not doing anything”. — After posting this review on 2 of May 2025- they called me and took back the solar panels they supplied. I thanked them for their response. I wish them good business

I highly recommend IZ Energy for external wall insulation (EWI). The entire process, from start to finish, took just over a week, with the actual work completed in only 4 days. Shujaat, the surveyor, visited my property, conducted a thorough survey, and walked me through the entire process step by step. Issa, the site manager, was on-site throughout the 4 days to oversee the work and ensure everything was going smoothly. Their office team is very responsive and quickly addresses any questions or concerns. I only wish I had done the EWI sooner. Thank you to IZ and the team for making my home warmer!

Grant secured through Eon the quality of the work is appalling left holes in 2 roofs causing ingress of water damaging internal walls. Facia blew off in high wind. Finish on rendering awful. Garden damaged, Guttering damaged and job not actually ever finished. Whenever they came back to repair works they just made things worse, personal cost to me spiralled to correct works done. This Company not recommended on any level

Did a survey of our house and did not get back to us. After numerous calls the lady kept stating to wait for 8 weeks which we did. The company number is invalid which means we have wasted time on a company that lied to us. DO NOT get free installation with small companies like IZ energy. IZ a Waste of time Energy!

I cannot fault this company, they have gone over and beyond and brought my property to meet the governments recommended energy efficiency rating! From start to finish they were very engaging, professional and did not waste time. I was able to speak to a representative at all times and the project manager on site (Issa & Alex) was absolutely amazing! He saw the work through and fixed the little bits and bobs that i needed done as an extra which fell outside of the agreement. My property looks amazing and feels very warm, thank you to IZ Energy and their hard working team. I would like to also give a special shout out to Maha, Hamza, Issa & Shah who answered all my queries in a timely manner and saw the work through the whole time. Maha & Hamza even helped after the work was completed to get a few bits done which was not part of the agreement, which i was really grateful for - thank you both so much, you are both an asset to the company. What a brilliant professional team of hard workers! Team Leader Javed explained what was going to happen each visit and answered any questions. The process lasted three weeks plus scaffolding by a different team. It was all managed very well and you can phone the office with any concerns. The guarantee arrived promptly and vents were fixed to reduce condensation. The fan noise is loud but functional. The only disadvantage was that my ceramic plant pots have big lumps of concrete left on them and I can’t get it off. My concern about the plastering around the fan was rectified. Overall, I am delighted with IZ energy and thank you all for your excellent workmanship.

I simply cannot recommend this company enough. High quality workmanship, polite, tidy, nothing was ever a problem I could go on & on. Javed and his team were a pleasure to deal with throughout. Any small issues that cropped up during the works were swiftly dealt with. I am beyond delighted with the result. Thankyou all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The “Team” engaged with me, talking through any worries or concerns I had about the project. They showed a high degree of professionalism and competence. The work rate is phenomenal, the final finish is of a very high standard with the attention to detail amazing, thanks Guys for all you have done.

SHODDY Workmanship - did work on my mothers house, they manged to flood the house and cause an injury to my mother, most of their work has had to be replaced or repaired.

We are still waiting to IZ energy to finish our external wall insulation nearly five weeks after they started (a job we were told would take 1-2 weeks). We never know when they are going to send out subcontractors and we were again told today that roofers would be out to our house to fix the massive holes they left in the roof extenders (I don't know the correct term), they did not turn up. It's impossible to get a straight answer about when this will be over and we still have a list as long as my arm of things that need to be fixed - guttering left unfinished, EPC boards left exposed, random gaps in the wall insulation. Avoid at all costs they have half arsed the job from beginning to end.

Come to us at about 16.30 worked to 19.30 several days which was very inconvenient never told us when they were coming and on the odd times they made appointment they didn't turn up 6 weeks later still waiting for work to be finished. Flashing wrapped around end of guttering water running down the wall.Two tiles missing off the roof.Sealent has come out of twice nobody wants to come out. Avoid at all costs.We are still waiting for work to be completed Hamza phoned on Friday they will be out on Monday nobody turned up and nobody phoned to tell us or to rearrange work.17th August 2023..They don't care.

Had external wall insulation done. The team led by Ivan were very friendly, polite, hard working and together with the site manager Waqar, were all very approachable (a quality that's generally missing from my experience with that trade) They were always happy to answer any questions, and kept me informed of any issues and snags, and dealt with it all without any fuss. As well as removing all rubbish, they even swept up the garden! Highly recommended!

IZ Energy is one of the most professional companies I have dealt with. They fitted my external wall insulation and informed me of every step before the work commenced. I was impressed by Ivan's Construction company, which completed all the work. There was a team of 7 guys who worked hard to finish it within two days. It was unbelievable how polite and hard-working these guys were. Also, Waqar, IZ Energy Site Manager, was polite and knowledgeable. He had a lot of patience to inform me of every step during the work, and when the work was completed, the place was left very tidy and clean. I would recommend all of them to anyone, and if I could, I would give them ten stars, as five stars are not enough for their behavior and professionalism displayed.

They were very unprofessional from start to finish. There was no survey prior to installation. Scaffolding guys installed the solar panels on the roof, which i dont think they are qualified to do. Turns up Saturday morning with no notices and started work on the roof, disturbing our peace. It was meant to be a days job that lasted over 1 month. Cable installation guys could not speak any English and made mess inside the property drilling holes everywhere, then covered with white silicone. I would avoid this company at all costs.

We had requested installation on a different date, this had not been communicated to the installation people. The work itself was carried out satisfactority and the people were polite. But the work should have been done on different date as requested.

We have a boiler installation at our house by IZ Energy. We are happy with the services provided by the team.

This is my experience with IZ Energy services ltd. I am landlord with portfolio of properties, I hired IZ Energy to see how we can get energy performance low. I even got my family’s properties done. IZ company charges were so much on individual house after the work was carried out & then minus government allowances taken into account he got paid, I couldn’t believe it what I am listening to IZ Director saying. This is probably being the worst part of all my rented properties were EPC grade was C or D after IZ done EPC all my properties were E grade after spending 1000’s pounds, I was so much disappointed the council I deal with wants me to complain to Government EPC department. This is what you can call cowboy company, one of the worst out there! From the get go, they were very persistent about being paid, once paid they didn't attend any of my properties to check workmanship. I got hold of another assessor his price was lot less then IZ company, IZ had overcharged so much I have to pay back from my pocket to my Family. Anyone out there looking to get house energy performance just don’t call IZ not honest keep filling there pocked & customer service 0%, not recommending this company to anyone.

IZ Energy are one of the most unprofessional companies I have dealt with. They were supposed to fit my external wall insulation under the government grant scheme. They assured me for months that the work would be completed. I chased them regularly and they always assured me that they will complete the work before the voucher expires. They then cowardly, sent us an email saying that work will not be started. I have since then called them many times and left messages but they do no have the courtesy to reply. It's as if they have fallen off the face of the earth. They got greedy with the money. Had they been honest and told me they were struggling with a backlog, I would have looked for an alternative supplier. They told me so late that I didn't even have a chance to look for someone new. Speaking to them on the phone is also painstaking. A lady answers the phone who has zero knowledge of what is going on. They may as well play you a voicenote as she only seems to know 2 things which she repeatedly tells you. I lost out on something through no fault of my own.

This is a cowboy company, one of the worst out there! From the get go, they were very persistent about being paid, once paid they didn't attend my house for months, no reply to emails, calls kept going to voice mail and no updates at all. They finally send builders who were rude and very disrespectful, they caused multiple altercations and were very hostile to the point I couldn't leave the house whilst they worked outside. They left scaffolding on the property for 4 months after work was completed and refused to remove it. Since carrying out the works there has been multiple leaks in the house, one so bad that water is building up in the bedroom, still no reply to emails or calls. They then told me that they had overcharged me £700 and it would be refunded ASAP, been waiting 6 months, no responses and no sign of the money!

Really sleazy and unprofessional. Make a mess, employ cheap labour and a bunch of subcontractors... create more problems then its worth with little to no communication. Send a used car salesman looking man to quickly get the job signed off run.

On of the worst company for work extremely disappointed extremely unprofessional i feel like extremely is smaller word i gave thm my job should take only 3 to 4 days scaffolding was on for 2 weeks thn finally the workers came did 1 days work and vanished for 2 weeks after so many calls msgs thy came again and promised to do the job in next 2 days again lost forever manager do not know what management is where his workers are going its like hell never trust thm ever project manager never gets back all the staaf just tell lies and thats all thy manage

IZ Energy Ltd installed under floor and loft insulation in my home under government green home grant. IZ energy guided me to apply for the grant. There was delay from the Government side to approve the Grant. IZ Energy customer service team follow up with Green home grant scheme and kept me updated throughout.the process Once grant was approved, Irfan seamlessly arranged installation within a week of approval of grant. The workmanship of the the worker was exceptional. I had recently installed laminate flooring, they removed it carefully and after installation install it back perfectly. To be honest it look better than before. During the installation, IZ energy customer service manager inspected the quality of work. I would delightedly recommend IZ Energy

Do Not Hire. I hired IZ Energy to fit external insulation to my house under the government's Green Homes Grant scheme. Only a few firms were approved to do work under the scheme and we struggled to get quotes, eventually choosing IZ Energy as the cheapest of few available options. They subcontract each stage of the work to different teams of tradesmen with very poor control of the end-to-end project delivery. Some of the tradesmen were good, but in general the level of attention to detail and consideration shown by the contractors assigned to us was very poor. Numerous quality issues were only fixed after I climbed up the scaffolding to identify them personally and pushed hard to get them addressed, creating delays in completion. Language barrier was also a problem as not all of the contractors spoke good English. We had to deal with tradesmen routinely littering our back garden with discarded food, cigarette ends and other rubbish, taking things from the kitchen e.g. brushes, cloths, washing tubs without asking and rendering them unusable afterwards, breaking my child's toy house without notifying us or apologising, etc. The project / site managers did not return to inspect the final quality of the work done despite assurances they would do so. The garden remains littered with discarded polystyrene particles that will take months to remove fully. There were various delays where I had to chase the office to ensure tradesmen would return to finish the job on a timely basis. The most stressful was removal of the scaffolding at the, which did not happen until 5 weeks after completion of the work despite my chasing them to do so on a daily basis and receiving numerous commitments that they would do so imminently - only when I threatened legal action did a company director force the scaffolding subcontractor to fulfill their commitment. I had already settled the final bill in good faith having been informed that the scaffolding would not be removed until I'd paid in full - in hindsight I regret doing this. The final quality of the fitting and rendering is OK at best - an independent surveyor from Trust Mark visited and described it as an obvious "rush job" (not what you want to hear on a project that took more than two months end to end!) It has become very clear that this company views government schemes like the Green Homes Grant as a cash cow and operates on a "stack 'em high, sell' em cheap" basis with very little dedication to quality customer service. I strongly recommend home owners save themselves stress by avoiding this company.

I've had a terrible experience with them, trying to have any contact with them has been difficult, even trying to get a simple quote i have had to wait 3 months after endless calls and emails i understand being stretched due to the government grant but 3 months for a quote is very poor. I also found them rather rude on the phone, the only member of the team that has some understanding is Maha who honesty tries their best in such a bad company. if it wasn't for Maha i would have left weeks ago.
