I just moved into a new house and the electricity had cut out. Called out Stephen and he was here in less than half an hour and fixed the problem so quickly! He was So friendly and professional. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Had a burning smell coming from the fuse box - turned out to be a melting breaker, Stevie came out and inspected it and put my mind at ease as I was in a panic the house was burning down 🤣 replaced the breaker and another that had been installed incorrectly by a previous electrician

Needed to upgrade smoke alarms and heat detector within the house. Having received a couple of questionable quotes decided to contact Allan Electrical, who provided a very competitive price. The guys turned up when arranged, replaced old alarms, fitted a new one in the livingroom with no mess and all done in around an hour. Job well done and not out to rip you off. I’d had a great experience with this company during a kitchen upgrade 2 years ago. For this much bigger job across my home, they were equally highly professional, punctual and efficient—leaving my home clean, tidy and ready to use. Very professional, quick and efficient. Good service from pricing the job to the electrician completing the work. I particularly liked that they sourced appliances for us. The electrician was polite, quick and helpful and cleaned up after him. We recommend and would use again.

Carried out electrical work to find fault with my boiler a heating engineer could not sort. Fault found and quoted for replacement thermostat and time clock. Work done straight away in a timely manner. Left today job and removed rubbish.

I requested a quote from AES for electrical work at my home. This was done promptly and the quote was within my expectations. Work was scheduled quickly and carried out efficiently and tidily by a very pleasant young electrician. More than happy to recommend AES.

I had no power due to a faulty socket. I called Allan Electrical and one of the electrical engineers called a few minutes later. Long story short, Kieran and his assistant were in and out in about 20 minutes (including travelling time.) I now have a new socket and power. Outstanding service! Incidentally,Joan in the office is lovely. She was so helpful, sympathetic and helpful.

I am so grateful to Allan Electrical Services for their prompt and professional service. When my smoke/heat alarm system developed a fault, it was setting off alarms throughout the whole house and causing constant noise that was unbearable to live with. I contacted them in desperation, and they managed to send someone out the very same day. The electrician quickly identified the problem, explained it clearly to me, and carried out the repair efficiently. The difference was immediate — the fault was resolved, and the house was quiet again. I really appreciated how understanding they were of how distressing the situation had been for me, and how fast and competent their response was. I would not hesitate to recommend them for their reliability, expertise, and excellent customer service.

Had an issue with my built-in cooker. From first contact AES were friendly and quick to respond. Engineer was efficient and very knowledgeable. I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent company.

Efficient, reliable and friendly

AES attended promptly to restore electricity as elderly parent was in hospital bed which along with a hoist required power. They carried out full check of electrics, identified the cause and rectified it. They also gave advice about recommended upgrades which we rescheduled for, along with 2 other small electrical jobs I requested. Electricians were polite, friendly and extremely professional. First class service and will definitely recommend to friends and family! Can't thank them enough!

Great service; I was having a problem with the RCD tripping constantly, and Allan Electrical were on site within a couple of hours. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful, they were really considerate with me, letting me know when the electrician was leaving the previous job and how long he'd be in arriving, how long the work would take, what was needed, and really taking care over the work.

AES came to supply and fit a new under-unit kitchen striplight for us in August 2023, as an add-on to other related lighting work which they had recently completed. The new light keeps falling out of it's holding brackets, with which it appears to be incompatible. I have contacted Allan twice (in October and November) asking them to fix this, but have received no response. Not happy.

We had our kitchen rewired and the boys walked away without testing the new sockets and guess what none of the new sockets were working then after sending over the drawing of kitchen they leave me with socket placements like this. 100% avoid this company.

I had someone come out on 30 June for a quote to put a fan in my bathroom. My house has no fines non-standard construction. The electrician was not sure they would be able to do the work but I was told I would get a phonecall on 3 July to confirm one way or another and get a quote. I heard nothing after waiting all day. I even called and was told someone would call me back but I heard nothing. I called again and no answer. Totally unprofessional service. Still waiting for that call. I won't hold my breath.

Rewired my house 18 months ago and still finding old wiring

Short notice call to company but still managed to send someone out on the last day before Christmas Eve. Did the best job possible under the circumstances. Would highly recommend.

Used Allan Electrical yesterday for the 2nd time (first time they re-wired my kitchen). After initial contact, Stephen Allan came to look at the work needed and provided a quote within two days. The quote was very good and the job was booked. On the day, two nice lads arrived to fit 3 outside lights and 2 internal lights. One lad went through the work to be done and then they set to work. All work done to a good standard and they did a great job of tidying up afterwards. Both pleasant and polite, great company and can definitely recommend.

Phoned 6 times and left messages with the receptionist, who was lovely and helpful, and no-one returned them. Very disappointing. Fortunately found someone else who was prompt and did a wonderful job.

Used them for an electrical condition inspection report, the guys carried out the inspection and told me what they had found, asked if i wanted a quote to carry out the work. I did, however when the quote arrived I was told additional work beyond what I was told was to be carried out. When I queried why I got fobbed off via email, I requested the condition report, I have never been give it. Avoid this company!

Boiler thermostat problem was fixed at the specified time. Prior to the visit, I was given advice on a temporary fix until the permanent one. Trustworthy.

No hot water from electric immersion heater. Phoned and someone came out monday. Back the next day with electric controller and immerser and fitted as far as possible. Plumber came out wednesday fitted immerser. Electrician back on thursday to finish connections. Very pleased with the job. Friendly efficient tidy.

This company did some work at our house. Their Electrician, Jonathon did a fantastic job. Installed the new equipment, took away the old equipment and swept and cleaned up after the job was completed. Would recommend this company for any Electrical work, large or small.
