Alex and his team installed an air source heat pump for us last week. It is clear that these guys know what they are doing, and handled everything from the heat loss calculations to design to install. It is important to get all of these steps right if you want the best efficiency, and the quality of the work here was exceptional, particularly the neat pipework (which was all lagged after the photo below was taken) and general attention to detail. Considering the size of the job the work wasn't too disruptive either, taking a lot of care to keep things clean inside the house and keeping the downtime of the heating and hot water to a minimum. At the end of the install, Alex explained everything we need to know to get the most out of the system. We've had it running for about a week and it's great so far, maintaning a comfy temperature in the house and plenty of hot water. If you're looking to switch to a heat pump, I can't recommend Bristol Renewable Heat enough.

Alex and his team installed an Air Source Heat Pump for us, but that wasn’t the challenge! That was the removal of a huge extremely heavy cylinder and the delivery of the heat pump from Heat Geek, up a very steep lane. Both challenges overcome, and we are super impressed by the standard of their work and their determination to ensure that every part of the installation was completed professionally. After a fire in the oven we wanted to make sure the gas hob was safe , this company was very prompt to send a gas inspector. He was thorough and very helpful on the removal of the cooker . Friendly and competent we felt safe .

Alex is quite literally a super hero. We contacted him on a Wednesday afternoon to say we had not had a working boiler for two weeks and he was there by 10am the next day with a new boiler. It was installed and working by late afternoon and everything has been perfect since. He provided a demonstration on how to work the boiler and set up our phones and the app so we could control it remotely. He cleared up every area he worked in and left the house clean and tidy. I've had a Gas Safety check completed by the Bristol Gas Co and I had a really positive experience. Alex was able to schedule an appointment at a very short notice, and was very clear with his communication throughout. The check on the day was completed by a colleague who was very helpful. I've had to install a new boiler since then as there was a water leak and the boiler was reaching the end of its lifespan. Again Alex was very clear and honest with his communication, we had a call to discuss the boiler he suggested installing. He was also clear with the costs involved. Once the installation was completed Alex explained all the changes very thoroughly which I appreciated and thought was very professional. Alex came to complete a gas safety check on my boiler and to diagnose some issues I was having. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure my issue was sorted, including calling the manufacturer on site. He organised an appointment with an engineer from the manufacturer to come out to replace a faulty timer unit and check boiler operation. He will be my go to plumber for any future works required, highly recommended!

Alex hooked up a gas hob for me in a rather non-standard installation, that required a bit more thinking on the fly than some jobs, plus a high degree of accuracy with the pipework. All of which he accommodated quickly, skillfully and courteously. Punctual and good communications from booking to completion, too. Definitely recommended and will be my first call for gas work in future.

I called Alex when my boiler stopped working unexpectedly in the cold one Saturday morning. He said he couldn’t in good faith get out to me as he was already booked up but asked me to described what was happening and what I had tried. I talked him through this and he gave me three things to try, one of which he thought was the most likely. I’m very pleased to say that he was correct in his diagnosis over the phone and by the next morning I had it working again. I can’t thank Alex enough, he was so helpful and saved my daughter and I from being freezing cold in our home.

Our boiler leaked rather dramatically leaking in to ceiling. Alex calmed me down, gave clear instructions about turning off boiler until he could attend which he very kindly did.
