Lightways (Contractors) Ltd has been described as conscientious in its work, with one reviewer saying the team filled and repaired the road effectively and worked hard to finish quickly. One reviewer says asphalt was put down about an inch thick onto type 1 hardcore on a lifted road section and expects it to break up. Another reports blocked roads without prior signs or warnings and says nobody answered when asked if the road would move soon. One reviewer had to reverse a 12-ton truck down a narrow road and calls the conduct unprofessional, while another says they dealt with a rude individual there.
Cowl . Cowboys of west Lothian
Bunch of cowboys. Mess they make and fail to clean up, is unbelievable. Work is seriously substandard too. Putting down about an inch (if that) of asphalt directly onto type 1 hardcore on a section of road that they lifted. No where near adequate. Will be back in a few months (if not less) to replace it all when its all broken into pieces. Never mind, it's only the council tax payer being ripped of yet again!
Had this company doing some work on the road outside my house, for Scottish Water this morning, I was really impressed by way the team worked and effectively filled and repaired the road.. every guy worked 100% and completed the job in a short space of time..Well done, Lightways.
I take it, its ok now to block the roads without any prior signage or warnings, wouldn't even answer me when I asked them if it was moving soon. Had to reverse a 12 ton truck all the way back down a very narrow road, very unprofessional
I have observed these tradesmen carrying out work around the village where I live and my personal view is they are very conscientious in their work ethic Can’t fault their work in any way
I t
Great guys, not a bad word
I had the misfortune of dealing with someone called Graeme Stevenson. He is one of the rudest and odious individuals I have come across. Please avoid at all costs
