We’re extremely pleased with the work carried out. He moved sockets and lighting in our bedroom exactly as requested, with everything finished neatly and to a high standard. He also installed a new light fitting in our loft and, importantly, made safe some unsafe work left by previous owners, which gave us real peace of mind. He was professional, knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. We’ve already recommended him to family and will definitely be asking him back for our next project. Mario and Nick have done a lot of work for us recently on our new house in Solihull including a new EV charger, changing all the lights and sockets/switches, new consumer unit, extractor fans, changing light locations, smoke alarm, smart doorbell... the list goes on. They are always very courteous and professional (including when patiently explaining why some of my ideas might not work from a cost or health and safety perspective). I was impressed with Mario being able to juggle so many different asks and working around my busy work schedule. Always very responsive also. Highly Recommend!

Mario turned up promptly and had good communication and good work ethic. He spent a lot of time with us to do the quote and explain the options. (The only thing we would have preferred is if he had quoted us for some work instead of saying its going to cost a lot and we will have to rip up the floor. (which we were willing to do!)) Once we had agreed on work to be done and we're all on the same page his work was great. He kept us informed all along the way and helped us out a lot. He even pointed out a few things that needed dealing with as an emergency in other parts of the house. He changed all the hardware in the house -(light switches and sockets), installed a new consumer board, electric heaters and a porch light and rewired the oven so it was earthed and safe. We also asked him to add on a new ring to upstairs and it works well and looks good (we had it trunked and used conduit instead of ripping open walls) His costs were a bit over other quotes but he did start the work immediately and did the job to a high standard so we are very happy we went with BES Electrical

Mario at BSE Electrical gave some excellent advice over the phone to assist with an issue I was having at home with sockets not working. It was really helpful and has meant I did not need to call someone out on this occasion, the fuse board just needed one of the switches put back up, tripped as a result of a bulb blowing. I shall has no hesitation to contact them should I need a local electrician.

I’ve used BES to rewire my house and all the subsequent electrical work we’ve needed to do since. Nothing is too much bother and we’ve worked out some creative ways to make my old property cutting edge.

Reliable, Excellent price, Came over straight away as we needed an immediate light repair. Use with confidence.

Most of the work was satisfactory, and as quoted. However, we had quite a few problems - USB sockets were meant to be installed on the power sockets. When we raised this there appeared to be a misunderstanding between our requirements and what was quoted. Mario charged £40 to switch over 2 of the 8 sockets (a 20 minute job). Since we had paid >£2,000 for all the work, this seemed unnecessary - the metal frame covering a wire cut into the wall was left sitting slightly proud of the wall, so when a plasterer came to cover it, he had to create a bump in the wall to cover it - we paid £450 for wired smoke alarms to be installed, as we were advised these would be needed if the property was ever rented out. We have since found out, from a simple Google search, this is not a legal requirement, and that the battery powered alarms we already had installed were sufficient - the quote clearly stated “ Total inc plaster work” at the bottom. However, halfway through the job we were informed that not all plaster work was included in the price Mistakes happen, but there seemed to be quite a few on this job. It was a battle to get the first problem partial rectified, and we are now left with an uneven wall and £450 out of pocket for smoke alarms which are unnecessary and more expensive to maintain in the long run.

The quote given was fair , the work was completed in a good time . Overall I was very impressed from start to finish and Budget electrical service did the job they promised to a high standard . I would honestly recommend them and know the job would be done right first time .
