My boiler decided to pack in the next day I rang Alpha and glad I did , we arranged a time and a very punctual technician named Ben turned up and found the fault , he said I needed a spare part and I would get a call from Alpha regarding an opponent to fit it as it needed ordering, it was a Friday no heating or hot water and I had a busy schedule the week after I had mention this to Ben in conversation . Within an hour Alpha had rang me and said Ben the technician can be at yours soon with the part and fit it will you be in , hed gone to Sheffield get part got it fitted and got my boiler working again within 2 hours , brilliant communication and service provided was fantastic 👍

Alpha were the installer for our main bathroom, and we were so impressed with them that we went to them for our new ensuite (supply and installation). There were so many different options available from Alpha compared to the big stores. We were walked through the options in the showroom until we were happy with our choices. The installation guys were great, and it was a joy to have them in the house. They were especially good with our pets (three cats and a puppy), checking with us before they made any substantial noise to make sure the pets were ok, and that we were not on a phone call etc. I would not hesitate to use Alpha again, or recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service, engineer so helpful and helpful, obviously experienced and knowledgeable. The office staff were so helpful and on a Saturday spent time going through all the reasons I was having problems. Highly recommended.

Ordered some tiles from here and emphasised the urgency. Was told they would be ready to collect the following Monday. The day after called the shop to ask if could collect and was told that they would never have been ready for the day previously told due to the quantity ordered. Explained that we had asked specifically for an urgent order and was advised they would be ready the following Monday. The girl who spoke to us did not apologise and basically made us feel as if we were lying. Dreadful customer service. No respect and to be not believed made us feel very angry. Would not use this company again

I've recently had a totally new bathroom installed by Alpha. The communication was good, letting me know by text the day before if the fitters were attending my property. Care was taken to keep my own carpets clean. Professional work carried out with care to detail. Explained what was happening each day. I am over the moon with my new bathroom. Thanks Alpha Heating.

I had my beautiful bathroom fitted by Alpha 7 years ago. The quality of the workmanship was second to none. My overflow plug broke in my sink and Gemma at Alpha replaced it free of charge. This is customer service at its best. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alpha for professional workmanship, exceptional quality products and fittings and superb ongoing customer service!

Had an emergency with my heating central, tried to contact them and they booked me after 3 weeks, so not helpful at all if you don't have an emergency team.

My father’s 20 year old boiler failed over the weekend . I asked Alpha to quote for a replacement and they attended the same day to survey the site and seek our requirements. A detailed quote was e mailed later that evening. Quote accepted and installation arranged for the following weekend. Later offered to bring installation forward by 24 hours which we gratefully accepted. From initial enquiry to installation was 5 days. Communication and professionalism were excellent throughout. I had my own boiler installed by Alpha 7 years ago, annual services thereafter and several general plumbing jobs since and would not hesitate in recommending their services.

SERVICE - Excellent service from when we first walked into Alpha heating,the owners of the company and the office staff all was friendly and welcoming. WORK CARRIED OUT- Alpha heating designed our new bathroom and they shown us the design on a screen and also sent the design through an email to us for us to go over and change the layout if we wanted.they completely ripped out our old bathroom they disposed of all the rubbish and cleaned the area. All the work force who attended our home was respectful,courteous, friendly but most of all they took pride in their work. COMMUNICATION-everyday we received emails and text messages letting us know who was attending that day which I thought was excellent we knew who was coming which is great. I cannot praise and thank Alpha heating enough for giving us our dream bathroom and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would wholeheartedly recommend Alpha to anyone contemplating any plumbing work! They have been excellent, very flexible and accommodating in every way! Nothing was too much trouble! My parents have re-purposed a bedroom and had a completely new bathroom fitted! The team at Alpha have been outstanding and their work and attention to detail have been exceptional! In my dads words, ‘they are true craftsmen!’ The bathroom looks fantastic, thanks to Pete, Paul, both Bens, Jamie, Jonathan, Harrison and the whole Alpha team, we cannot thank you enough, 5* service, great job!!!!

Not sure what the service is like, and I never will. Aggressively reversing up to me, until I pressed my horn, then the driver to stopped. He got out and went into a house on Barn Close for what looked like lunch. If this is the case, I was legally parked outside taking a call. If you live here you don't own the road. Driver was in his late 20/30s with what looked ginger hair. The drivers smashed mirror needs changing too.

Thanks to Alpha for the new boiler install. Smooth and efficient service and great communication throughout the process. The installers where very knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to deal with. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent ,good service ,great advice ,can't ask for more !!!

Had original installation and all was fine. But after a spontaneously shattered shower screen, they were extremely unhelpful and non responsive. Abysmal and unhelpful responses such as nothing they can do as past the 12 month warranty, sent us in circles talking to distributors and suppliers. And when it was apparent we would need to pay for a new screen and installation, they didn't respond to emails for request for service and dates and then when we phoned told us it would be 6 months, and told us to order direct from the supplier (who says you have to order via a distributor). I understand the business and being busy, but zero after service or thought for customer's circumstance. This would have a 2 hour job, easy money and would have kept a good customer for future. Just a disappointment.

Bathroom total refurbishment. All tradesmen were polite courteous prompt and very clean workers removing all old fittings. Would definitely recommend this company

Having been a longstanding domestic customer of Alpha I had never any difficulty with the engineers who were punctual, tidy and appeared to keep our heating in decent running order. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the office administration. Since our boiler developed a problem with the fan in October we asked via phone and mail on FOUR separate occasions for the costs to provide a replacement. No reply. Inevitably three weeks ago the boiler finally packed up on the morning of the first snowfall. Our calls to the office asking for urgent help have also never been answered. Two days after the breakdown we received a standard mail, asking if they could send someone round to look at our requirement. The fact they installed the current system and been servicing it annually for the past 15 years seems to be irrelevant. Needless to say, we have gone elsewhere and will never use Alpha Heating again

Boiler service carried out on 4.11.2021. The engineer was polite, approachable and knowledgeable. There was nothing mess or fuss, an excellent service. Thank you

Called in for a quote for a new bathroom and had a visit to my home in July '21 to discuss design etc, still waiting for a call back... I did call in the shop twice and used messenger to ask about any updates, still nothing!

Have been waiting for a almost a year for them to respond to a guarantee fault phoned many times and eventually went to the office still waiting for a result.R White Wingerworth.

These are great. Even the after care service is second to none. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

An Alpha service engineer arrived to service our boiler as per the schedule, on opening the door the guy walked straight in with no mask/face covering in sight and said, "I know where it is, I'll get on" however when I challenged him for not wearing a mask or face covering his reply was basically, "we don't have to" and even when asked if this was in line with his employers risk assessment for working in other peoples homes during Lockdown, he just shrugged his shoulders and proceeded to make his way to the boiler location, on finishing his work he came down spoke with my elderly mother and left. To say the nation is well into the third Lockdown due to COVID19 this kind of blatant disregard for other peoples health and wellbeing is totally disgusting and totally unnecessary especially as you cant go in a shop to buy a loaf of bread without a mask/face covering. Think twice before letting these in your homes, at no point was my elderly Mother offered a copy of a risk assessment to instil a degree of confidence that Alpha are Covid compliant in going about their business. Needles to say I spent quite some time cleaning surfaces and contact points with antibacterial wipes after he left. Regarding the service on the combi boiler, in and out in circa 20 - 30 mins

Wires left hanging loose inside a cupboard, now the cupboard has been removed its unsafe and I'm having to pay for the cowboy style of work to be repaired. I would expect better after paying over £4000. Aggressive response from company when I left a review on Facebook.

Gemma in office rude, poor attention to detail, wrong items delivered, wrong toilet fitted, tile edging cut short and just filled in with silicon giving a poor finish, grout discolouring and coming out in places after only 2 weeks. Slow to respond to issues, refused contact details of higher management to sort issues. Pete and Luke are polite and do listen but a company is only as good as their action when things go wrong and in this alpha are failing. I could not recommend unless you have everything delivered directly to your own house, check it off as correct yourself and then watch over every aspect of the work in detail. I'm left with a bathroom where the basin and toilet don't match and multiple niggly poor finishes. These could have been resolved more quickly and without Gemma's immature and disrespectful comments. Also I have since found 5* ratings left by staff/family presumably to offset previous poor ratings which is not very honest.

Alpha modified our hot water system by installing a pressurised unvented cyclinder. The system works brilliantly and was installed without any trouble to a high standard. The service was professional from start to finish and then staff were highly competent. The support staff in the office are also a pleasure to deal ensuring good communication throughout the job. I would highly recommended Alpha and will certainly use them again for any heating work we have.
