It has now been a year since Scott and his team have completed our solar+battery+charger installation and I am happy to leave a solid 5 star review. Everything has worked as expected, savings are on track and whenever I had a question, Scott was at hand with advice straight away. We had a particularly challenging install with a nearly flat roof on a second floor loft conversion that most installers I contacted would not touch with a barge pole. He did a thorough pre- quote survey, explaining all costs and options, and ended up predicting the peak summer output to within 2 Kw. The wiring in the house was a mix of late 80s original fuses and several conversions/extensions executed to varying standards and Scott and the team started with an in-depth testing, upgrade and partial rewiring to electric safety certificate standard. The system itself was 10x Jingko 440 panels on a special railing system with bird protection, Tesla PW3 and Ohme home pro charger. Scott was up to date with all Octopus tariffs, correctly advised on the charger bypass and talked me through other (cheaper) options. Solarus trains apprentices and they were all pleasant to have around during installation, extremely neat in their work with no corners cut. I can’t comment on price competitiveness as no one else was offering to meet our special requirements from half a dozen quotes requested. If you get several ‘can’t be done’ when looking at solar or battery, check with them.

The guys who came to fit the EV charger were friendly, professional and very tidy - explaining what they were going to do, making sure we were happy with where everything was going to go and once they had finished, they walked us around the work they had done so we could check we were satisfied with it all. Would highly recommend - great service!
After multiple disappointing quotes and some companies that even wanted to charge for coming out to look at the job, we found Solarus. Scott was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed for our Air source heat pump installation. Their quoted price was reasonable and being an MCS registered company they were able to apply for the £7500 B.U.S. grant on our behalf. The installation was done to a high standard, the pipe work all very neat and well arranged. As an added bonus they were able to safely wall mount the external unit at high level, which was a tricky job, but certainly worth the effort for the space saved. There were some hiccups along the way, for example: The hot water Cylinder arrived from the factory damaged. Credit to Scott and Nathan they refused to install and exchanged it for a new one with the cost being a lost days work for the company. All in all, Solarus have proved reliable, knowledgeable, and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I had an issue with my Solar panels last week, they basically stopped working after a power cut. After a couple of days trying to solve the problem I called Solaris and talked through the issue, we switched to FaceTime & the guy from Solaris (sorry I don’t remember your name) talked me through various checks and after 10 minutes on the phone solved the problem meaning it didn’t necessitate an engineer coming out. Absolutely 100% top class service… Honest knowledgeable company, highly recommended A+++++

Great service and workmanship from Scott and Nathan. They installed an EV charger, I didn't want any visible cables on the inside or the outside. They took the time to discuss the best way to do it with me and although it was tricky they managed a really clean installation.
Solarus are sponsors of Romiley Cricket Club and have recently upgraded our lighting from fluorescent to LED. They have also provided us with a full electrical condition report and given advise to optimise the use of our solar panels. Solarus are community minded, honest, hard working and we would highly recommend them.
Fantastic, clean, efficient and friendly install of my new EV charging point. Both Nathan & Scott are true professionals who know their game inside out. I have worked all my life within the construction industry and have project managed many large commercial projects and wish all my subcontractors could be as good as Solarus. Great experience from first contact to post installation. Nathan explained the brands they work with and the reasons why. I went for a Simpson & Partners EV charger - the best looking charger out there! Everything was clear from quote to explanation of install requirements and how to use. Also have advice on electricity tariffs. Great service, highly recommended and a pleasure to deal with. Great Job!
We recently asked Solarus to quote us for solar panels and battery storage. We had some specific requirements about needing the inverter and battery outside as well as a slightly higher than normal setup because of the amount of electricity we use during the day. Scott and his team gave us not only a quote quickly, but it was detailed including the bird mesh to prevent nesting, 8kw panels and 5kw battery. Not only did the team install everything quickly and cleanly, but there was a couple of cracked tiles on the roof that the team replaced to make sure it wouldn't cause any problems in the future. With how good the installation is, we have asked for a further quote for a second battery and now an EV charger too. I very highly recommend Solarus and the whole team! Definitely a 5* installation.
Scott and Nathan go above and beyond with everything they do. They installed a car charger, solar and batteries for us along with whole house backup which other electricians had said wasn't even possible. We are now able to save money by using cheaper electricity at night and don't need to worry about power cuts! I would not hesitate to recommend Solarus and would rate them ten stars if I could.
Fantastic service by Scott, installed an EV charger which went faulty after 18 months, no fault of the install assisted in warranties claim and then returned to install the replacement model FOC. Well done, highly recommend.
Cannot recommend the Solarus team highly enough. Did a lot of ringing around for suppliers for panels with battery storage on the MCS and Solarus got our business because their customer service was excellent. They listened to what we were looking to what we wanted and they designed the system based on current and future usage. The team were knowledgeable, professional and approachable throughout the whole process and incredibly patient as well. The install of our GivEnergy system & panels was superb, with only late Sep weather causing slight dejays. We’re now 4 months in we haven’t had an issue with the system. I recommend Solarus to family, friends and colleagues at every opportunity. When we get an EV, I’ll be contacting them for the charger install.
