Cant thank Liverpool Auto Care Ltd enough, took my Skoda Kamiq in with a fault, it wasn’t an easy fix but the lads kept investigating until they found the root cause. They have the patience of a saint and they certainly know their stuff. The girls on reception were also amazing So a special thanks to Chloe & Heidi, definitely gained a new customer in me and will be telling all my friends and family about the amazing service I received.

Guys at Autocare were really reasonable when realising my car wasn't drivable anymore, kept a hold of it free of charge whilst we looked at alternatives and even let us keep a few of the parts we'd just had sorted for future repairs!
I highly recommend Liverpool Auto Care Ltd. After several garages in Manchester refused to work on the A/C system of my imported Toyota Voxy, these guys were happy to help. Before coming here, I had my A/C re-gassed by another garage just two weeks earlier. They simply filled the system with refrigerant and never told me there was a leak. The A/C stopped working again shortly afterwards. When I visited Liverpool Auto Care Ltd on Thursday, they took the time to diagnose the problem properly instead of just re-gassing the system. They put the car on the ramp, used a UV light to inspect the system, and quickly found the source of the leak without needing to add any UV dye. They explained everything clearly, showed me exactly where the leak was, and gave me a quote for the repair. They didn’t charge me anything for the inspection, even though many garages would have charged just to investigate the fault. Because it’s an imported Japanese vehicle, the aluminium A/C pipe was difficult to source. The repair quote was more than I wanted to spend, so I found a good second-hand pipe myself and had it replaced. When I returned on Monday, they didn’t question why I hadn’t bought the part from them or had the repair done by them. They simply carried on professionally. At my request, they pressure tested the system for around two hours to make sure there were no leaks before re-gassing it. During the wait they kept me updated, apologised for the delay, and even offered me a bottle of water. It’s rare to find a garage that’s this honest, knowledgeable, and customer-focused. They never pressured me into spending more money and were happy to help regardless. My air conditioning is now working perfectly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Liverpool Auto Care Ltd, especially if you have an imported Japanese import or a difficult A/C fault.

After lots of nervous research, I came across Liverpool Auto care in Atlas Road, Bootle. I know it’s nuts because scammers are so good at what they do BUT., after several long telephone conversations With Katie, discussing all the details of the upgrades to my micro camper that I wanted done, I was given a price that I was really happy with and I placed a deposit with a plan to drop the van in 3 weeks later. I was meticulous in my timing as I’m from the Isle of Man and would be getting the ferry over 3 days before my first holiday in my camper. Well , Liverpool Auto Care done exactly what they promised to do and I’m now off on holiday with a switch to charge leisure battery when on hook up. A fabulous diesel heater (mighty task in a tiny van) and a multi media system that includes a reverse camera. I couldn’t be happier. You wouldn’t even know anything had been done as it’s been so expertly carried out. Absolutely over the moon Iam . If you need to entrust you pride and joy camper to someone, then this is the place to go. Massive shout out to Katie.. always on the end of the phone and to the wonderfully skilled fitters. I went here on Monday to have my air conditioning looked at.Friendly staff on reception and mechanic quickly diagnosed a broken condenser.I was given a rough estimate but no pressure to have job done. Ultimately,I found somewhere closer to home to do repair but would be happy to go back to Liverpool Auto care in future

Lovely and helpful front desk staff. I was previously told by another garage that my air condenser needed replacing, but these guys carried out a UV test first rather than jumping straight to an expensive repair. Thankfully the condenser appears to be working fine, which saved me a lot of money.
1st time customer called in unannounced with aircon problem . Issue diagnosed and sorted all in 24 hours, despite a hiccup which was nothing to do with the mechanics or the garage . Thanks Jay! Office staff are really friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

I am very happy with the service I have received from the Liverpool Auto care teamtoday. I had a problem with my car’s air conditioning system. I requested an oppointment which was provided in less than 2 days. The staff were very professional and carried out the work efficiently and they were very honest in their work and completed the job quickly and at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them. Quoted me £500 for a 1-2 hours job to replace a clock spring and calibration for my esc problem. WITHOUT DIAGNOSTIC! Said Diagnostics would cost an extra 80£-£160. Probably heard my southern accent and thought they could extort me. Any newbies to the city stay clear away. Got it sorted for only 90£ at another honest independent Garage who specialize in electrics told me my problem wasnt the clock spring and fix my issue at a cheaper price no problem with my esc light since. Im glad I decided not to go through this garage since seeing other reviews they extort and dont solve issues.
Door speaker was playing up and had an idea it was on its way out, after a 20 minute investigation i was told it was indeed on its way out and needed replacing, got charged £71 to be told that, dont think i’ll be going back.
Went to Liverpool auto care to get my own dashcam fitted and the job was done great. I had an issue so the following day I went back down there and the lad put me at ease and helped solve the problem. When I was there first time Katie the receptionist told me the things that are covered here. Two days later my brake bulb blew I went straight here and they sorted me out in no time. I would recommend these guys to everyone I know. Cheers guys.

Super efficient Service. Electrical Fault with my Car was diagnosed within an hour of me dropping in. Fault rectified with new part on a day to suit me, again speedy resolve. I had a problem with the airbag wiring which was a failure for the Mot. I was given a price for a diagnostic and was worried that the price would be too high, but they completed the repair with no extra charge. I have learned it It is better to go staight to the experts such as these, than others who charge more and do not do as good a job. The staff were very helpful especially kate at the front desk.
My car failed it M.O.T but the garage that did the test said they couldn’t do the work on my Hyundai Santa Fe so I had to look for another garage I thought I would take it to Liverpool Auto Care Ltd as last year the fixed my air conditioner all I can say is I have never been to a garage that treats you so well the young lady (Katie) on reception was so welcoming such a lovely way she treated her customers we were very pleased with the price they quoted the work was completed to a high standard there is only one garage I will use now I would highly recommend Liverpool Auto Care to anyone I can’t get over how really well we were treated Thank you to all the staff Bill & Jackie

Excellent! I had a tricky electrical problem with my Citroen, with warning lights coming on intermittently. The mechanics at Liverpool Autocare were fantastic and found a corroded cable which they very quickly replaced. All the staff, including the ladies in reception, were very efficient and friendly. I even got a cup of coffee as I waited. Highly recommended.

Avoid!!!!!!! Overpriced and horrible customer service. Never picks up the phone and does not ring to tell you when the vehicle is ready. Charged me £170 for a diagnostic fee. How can you expect customers to bring their vehicles to you when you don't ever pick up your phone!

Very disappointed with the customer service at Liverpool Auto Care. I went with a reference workshop boss friend and I came from L8, but the front desk lady was rude and treated me like . They didn’t show any care or respect, so I cancelled my appointment. Customer service needs to improve.

Avoid, unhelpful deny receiving emails ignore your calls no matter how many messages you leave. Never call to tell you your cars ready. Definitely wouldn't use them again. Issue still not resolved.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Sadly there is no way to give 0 stars. Had my car towed to this garage on the recommendation of another garage who advised they could fix electrical issues, which the rescue company employee presumed was the possible problem. I have never used them before and will not be using them again. I was charged £180 for the car to have a diagnostic and according to the receipt that’s 2 charges for 2 diagnostics. I was informed that there was wiring that needed to be fixed and paid £45 for this, so £225 in total, which I had no problem with if it was going to fix the issue. I had the same issue a couple of weeks prior where the clutch would not engage to start the car and recovery company had suggested it was the clutch sensor which was the issue, and error cleared to start car. I used the car twice after collecting from this garage and was told it was fixed, and on the second time of use it wouldn’t start again with the same error showing. I was seen by a recovery company technician who completed a diagnostic and advised it was the clutch sensor, he got the car started by clearing the error codes. I advised him about the problem “being fixed” and what I had paid for! His words were “you’ve been taken for a ride”. He saw no evidence of any wiring repair and suspects, just like he did, that the error was cleared and the car restarted and I was sent on my way. I was however informed by the garage if it happened again I may need a new sensor (really???). I was also informed I required new breaks and discs, and a new tyre as I had a slow puncture. As I couldn’t get to pick the car up before they were due to close I agreed for the breaks, discs and tyre to be replaced which was a further £600 plus. So after breaking down again and receiving this information I called to complain to the garage and find out what wire was repaired exactly. Receptionist took my complaint and advised the technician would call me to go through this further with me. She had offered for me to return so they could fix it and replace sensor and I wouldn’t have to pay for another diagnostic (well I had already paid for 2), but I would need to pay for the new part. I was called back and although it wasn’t the technician who had worked solely on my car he was involved. He couldn’t apologise enough and advised that they had fixed the prong that was on the sensor as they would prefer to repair a part than replace it to keep costs down for their customers, however this was never explained before and I wasn’t given the option to replace it. This issue is apparently a well known fault with Vauxhall Astra’s so replacing the part would be the only solution to this problem. I was told I would receive a call back for the price of the replacement part and to book me in for my return… this was almost a week ago and I’m still waiting. I have however gone elsewhere and had the part replaced. I have been given the old part and there is no way for the prong to be replaced. Unless they have a magic wand I’m not aware of, there is no way for the prong to be taken off the part so couldn’t have been replaced, as confirmed by the new garage I used. Also, although the tyre appeared to have been replaced I continue to have a slow puncture/PSI reducing daily. So appears I’ve been lied to, charged for services I’ve not received and a promise to rectify which has never materialised.
Can’t recommend Lewis and his team enough, they are amazing with electrics, reasonably priced and honest. We wouldn’t use anyone else 😀

Really great people at Liverpool Auto care, they fixed my reverse camera after another company did a bad job, 5 star service, I can highly recommend.
I had a repair on my mild hybrid car that needed some electrical reprogramming which my mechanic couldn’t do. It got taken to a specialist and then an Audi specialist wouldn’t take it on. There were estimates of thousands for the job. The time it was off the road run to nearly a month. I was given Liverpool Auto Care’s details and Lewis said to bring it in the next day. He reprogrammed it straight away and had me back on the road at an incredible price. The thing that impressed me was he was prepared to have a look at it when others wouldn’t. I can’t recommend Lewis and his staff enough. 5 Stars

Very polite staff before and after service, and during diagnostic check on my car they rung me up to discuss the problem. On paying the bill, they explained there is a 2 week window, that if the any reoccurrence of the fault, they will not charge for a diagnostic check again, which I find a good a good service back up. Ford focus rear wiper stopped working. Ford dealer ship was too expensive. No idea where to get it repaired. Went onto social media and read the reviews about Liverpool Auto Care Diagnostics and Electricians. Contacted this company went in for a diagnostics check and they said it was the wiper motor had stopped working. I booked it in with a day that suited me. On the day I turned up at 9am. 10.45 I got a phone call to say the job had been done. 5 star service from Receptlonist and the friendliness of all the staff. Only one place to go for Car electric problems

Honestly wouldn’t used anyone else !! Second time of using them and both times they have been professional and genuine I phoned another company because Liverpool auto was shut for holidays And I got quoted over £500 this was after paying £180 for them to test for a fault Waited for Liverpool auto to reopen not only did they fix the fault they never charged me only paid £68 for them to use the computer to find the fault The fault was due to water inside (and not what the other company suggested) I was told a they have cleaned it and it should be fine This is a genuine company and they have “care” in there title because that’s actually what they do CARE !

PLEASE NOBODY MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID YESTERDAY!! I rang up and told this company I had a puncture sign that wont clear from my dashboard and told them the garage I went to previously told me I needed an auto electrician to clear this puncture sign. I explained the whole situation on the phone and the lady gave me the impression it was something they fix and said bring the car in on Thursday. I also looked on their website and it said ‘do you have an annoying dashboard sign that wont clear’ i thought oh great! thats something they can fix!! I took my car in and they rang me a few hours later saying they CANT fix it and I need to go to a tyre shop instead and they charged me £95 for a ‘diagnostic check’ 🥲 I understand they cant check someones car for FREE and I wouldn't expect that! £30-£50 would of been reasonable but £95 to tell me they cant fix something is a disgrace. They probably knew when I booked in they couldn't fix it but knew if they got me booked in we’d still get £95 off her. I am honestly fuming! Why don’t you say to people when they book in ‘this might not be something we can definitely fix and the diagnostics prices can vary between this amount and you will still have to pay this even if we cant fix your car’

All the team are such lovely kind people. They have fixed my car twice now at very short notice, late in the day when I’ve had a fault with my car. They knew I was in a bind and yet changed me very reasonably when they really could have charged anything. The fact they didn’t, either time, speaks volumes. They even made me a brew while I waited. What can I say, had a problem with daytime running lights DRL. They fitted me in because I had a lot of headaches. Absolutely first class experience from start to finish Heidi was amazing and very knowledgeable. So professional and Customer Service second to none and obviously Lewis working his magic. If you have any problems would not hesitate to use them they are excellent and know what they are doing. Problem diagnosed and sorted what more can you ask for. Also kept up to date with excellent feedback about the job on hand. All in all A1 service that you will find hard to beat.

Booked in to have a new stereo update in our campervan and can honestly say our whole experience from initial phone call through to double check before we left has been an absolute pleasure. Lovely smiley friendly customer service, knowledgeable and professional staff, made us a cuppa and let us watch netflix while we waited. Cheekily asked if they'd be able to do a couple of little odd jobs, no problem whatsoever. Would highly recommend.
Very few companies these days offer a mix of professionalism, value for money and a team who genuinely care about the service they provide. My car had developed a problem with the central locking and rear wiper motor. I dropped the car off at 8.30 am and spoke to Jay, one of the technicians who assured me that they’d resolve the problem, and he wasn’t wrong. By 2pm, I’d received a call from Heidi to say they’d resolved the problem with the central locking and that they were awaiting the delivery of a part to resolve the rear wiper problem. Before noon the next day, the car was ready and is now working perfectly, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Any company that has a lovely pooch kicking around their office, is ok by me! 😉🐾🐾

After having mobile mechanic and another garage attempting to fix my Zafira non start problem, I was referred to "Liverpool Auto Care Ltd" not only did they locate and repair the problem they did it days earlier than car was booked in for, excellent customer service from Heidi and colleagues, as for the cost it was extremely reasonable and I would Highly reccomend them to any one with car electrical problems Immobiliser, ignition, ECU etc. top marks to all concerned, Bob Breen, Vauxhall Zafira owner with non start problems.

After 2weeks trying Experienced Auto Electricians/ Key Codeing and Specialist Electrical Engineers trying to solve why my Central Locking System wouldn't work on a58 plate Ford Focus, I was told by N W Keys the ONLY people that could possibly help me now was Liverpool Auto Care, they were absolutely amazing and sorted it out in just under an hour ( corrosion on receiver) in the roof lining, they were so efficient and definitely not expensive at all. Took my ford kuga to liverpool auto with a faulty steering wheel ok button the staff were excellent fitted a new button quickly and a good price highly recommended especially if you own a kuga with a common faulty buttons
Out of all the services I have used for anything, Liverpool Auto Care Ltd have been absolutely top. Their professionalism, quick work, and willingness to help have really been above and beyond what is expected. I had a real issue with my car and being in a new location with my MOT running out in a few days they absolutely sorted me out including getting another local garage to do my MOT before I pick up. The biggest thank you to Heidi, you really have made it so easy and put my mind at ease. If only everyone was like you! Thank you to the technical team working in the garage, you're the unsung heroes and I couldn't be more grateful! 100% I will use them again.
Great service. I brought my car because the radio was not working and it has been sorted in a few hours. The customer service was great and the price was much more reasonable than other places so I would recommand.
Very expensive quotes and no transparency regarding diagnostic procedure/cost at the time of booking! Booked a BMW 520d F11 to replace the headlamp with water ingress and no side/day running light. After I dropped the car in the morning, received a call with a quote of £1854 to have the light sorted with genuine parts. I asked if they can replace the headlight with an aftermarket one, as that price is probably half of the value of the car. I went to pick up the car and I have been charged £60 for the diagnostic .They were still looking into sourcing an aftermarket headlight. I asked if they can send the diagnostic report and quotes for an aftermarket headlight and just for headlamp fitting, which they did. The aftermarket light was about £250 cheaper After checking the parts costs from BMW found out that they were cheaper than Auto Care. In the end I bought a new halogen Hella headlamp for £442 and had it fitted for £96 by an auto electrician. Car passed the MOT. Total cost less than a third from those quotes!
My car alarm had been randomly going off at different times of the day and night and likely driving people nuts. Broght it in and the team quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. Can't fault them. Thanks a lot!
Dropped my vehicle off with them last week with an auto-light sensor fault. Received a quick diagnosis and the job was completed as soon as the parts had been delivered. Additionally have helped with the installation of dashcams previously. Highly recommend.
Excellent service after a quick phone call they were able to accommodate my request to install a dash cam for me. When I arrived at their offices I was expected and they started on the job straight away. Everyone was polite 😁 and friendly and I even got a lovely cup of coffee ☕. On top of this the work was carried out and completed very well and competitively. Will definitely use them again.
Liverpool Autocare were recommended to me by another garage who couldn’t help me with my ABS fault light. They got me in within about 2 days, very helpful, friendly and professional. My car was fixed within a few hours and saved me a very expensive trip to the Peugeot dealership, can’t recommend enough. Will definitely be returning if I needed any work doing in the future! Rae and Heidi were both lovely, very professional and patient!
Spoke to the team at autocare yesterday, purely to enquire about having a rear light wired in on an aftermarket diffuser. It is not not even 24 hours since that call and the work has been done. Heidi arranged for me to drop the vehicle off the next day, the business was very clean, well maintained and the staff were very approachable&knowledgeable. I will not be going anywhere else for any electrical services and will be recommending them to anybody in need. A great experience 5⭐️

My light is tail of my recovery truck was not working, so I called them and asked if they can fit me in and kindly they did, however they did not discuss the diagnosis and give me the opportunity to choose, but they said they have fixed and I paid £84. However I stopped near by only to find out that the light is not working. Not recommended

Booked my car in last week to have a dash cam fitted ( cheaper insurance!) Heidi couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging for me to go on Saturday morning as I work away during the week. I was met by a very friendly, helpful, professional team. I was impressed by how clean and organised the workshop was. I needed a small additional job doing and that was agreed. Left the car with them for a couple of hours. I got back car was ready, jobs done and all working. I’m more than happy with the service, the work and the price. Amazing service! I was ready to lose my car to a dreaded ABS light that refused to turn off or respond to any diagnostics, MOT looming and 5 garages later, I was lucky a credible garage recommended Liverpool Autocare as they were renowned in the area for solving problems other garages couldn't... I was treated as a priority customer from Heidi and the team right from the start, and they managed to fix my car to a water tight deadline.. couldn't recommend them enough, this is my new go to garage for electrical faults, excellent customer care.

So glad I went here, had a scary electrical fault leaving me stranded with no clue as to the problem and even the RAC were stumped. Was recommended here and within a day I was back on the road again. I’m so glad to have found Liverpool Auto Care. After having called around a few auto electricians in the area, all of whom were either too busy or didn’t want to help, I came across Liverpool Auto Care who were more than happy to help. They managed to fit me in within 2 working days to fix the Angel eyes in my headlights which hadn’t been wired in by the previous owner. Lewis completed the job within 1.5 hours whilst I waited. It’s great to have a trustworthy auto electricians in the area! Highly recommended and both Lewis and Heidi were very helpful. Thanks so much!

Our car had intermittently been breaking down for weeks and getting parts changed by various mechanics then the car would run again only to break down the next day. We took the car to Liverpool auto care and they were able to find the fault and sort out the problem which was an intermittent wiring fault which every other garage could not find. The bills would of kept racking up if not for this professionally ran family business. Haven’t thanked my friend who put us onto Liverpool auto care enough since! They put your mind at ease from start to finish and keep you upto date throughout all stages. Hard work fella who wont take the piss an charge you all sorts, will just get the job done.

10/10. Heidi & Lewis did everything right. I wouldn't have found them if it wasn't for a recommendation on Facebook, and I'm glad I did. I was either ignored or turned away by other auto-electrians; I thought I'd reached a dead end, but LAC took on my awkward job - also at a very reasonable price. Lewis promptly found (and sorted) the issue and Heidi kept me updated throughout the repair/installation - I didn't have to do any chasing. This is a new business venture for Heidi and Lewis, so do them a favour and show some support!
