Great service from Rufus who replaced a toilet cistern and basically rebuilt the system which was on its last legs.He arrived on time, worked conscientiously and is a good all-round guy too.Our new neighbour was so impressed when we told her about the excellent level of service that she is going to contact Britannia to get them to replace her shower unit.I would happily recommend Britannia...

Britannia fitted new boiler and radiators at my home in August. Very efficient service, site visit by Darren, quote received within a day and installed a week later. Britannia Services provided an excellent service at my property. It was for an EV charger (Hypervolt Home Pro 3, 5m Tethered) and an external double socket. The work was all done in less than a day and to a high standard. Darran and Kristel communicated throughout the process from receiving the quotes to carry out the work. I will be sure to contact them again for any future electrical work!

Excellent service. Nigel did a great job, moving a gas fire to allow pest control to remove a bird trapped behind the fire. He was calm and reassuring, and left everything clean and tidy.

I had britannia to come to repair a leak i had on my hot water pipe, it was a tricky job as it was an old lead pipe to a new copper pipe. I took a photo and sent it to Darren and he said it looks tricky but we will find a way to repair it and they did. The engineer they sent was so patient and took his time but the end result was brilliant, I can't praise this company enough. Oh and by the way before I rang britannia I got a local plumber in Selby to come out, when he did he just scratched his head and said no that's how good britannia are.

We have a rental flat and tge boiler had an issue. Electric being one of them. Firstly trying to find someone who fixes electric boilers was very difficult. We were recommended Brittania and they were brilliant. The initial consultation was on sunday prior to Xmas 2025 and immediately we had an issue, we needed a new boiler. This was sourced and installed by Darren and all was good. The work was left clean tidy and very neat with the pipework having to be altered. A couple of weeks later our tenant noticed a small leak and a quick call to the service team found a olive that had split,this was replaced under warranty terms. We now have happy tenant, happy boiler and I have a happy wife.

Had a boiler and 6 radiators replaced. Excellent customer service all round and Darran, Nigel and Ellis worked brilliantly to get the majority of the work done in one day. We will definitely use Britannia again and highly recommend them.

We couldn't recommend Britannia Services highly enough. Just before Christmas we moved house and inherited a faulty boiler, we were let down by our home insurance company, who told us they were unable to fix the issue before Christmas. After researching online, we contacted Britannia and were able to make contact with Darren who was able to attend the same day. He kept us informed throughout the process, as to what work had been done and what the next steps were, making us feel calm and reassured. We were very grateful Darren was able to come out on Christmas day. Darren was honest and professional from the start and in the end recommend we install a new boiler, we now have a new, easy to use digitally controlled boiler and we feel in safe hands with Britannia's boiler care going forward. Darren and the Team at Britannia service are incredibly professional, honest and overall lovely people, we can't thank them enough!

I don't normally leave reviews unless a company has really impressed me. Darran, Nigel and the team at Britannia are brilliant. Friendly, reliable and they do top quality work. I've used them a few times and they're always polite and respect the house. My boiler packed in right before Xmas this year - they managed to source a new one and came out on a Sunday to fit it. There USP for me is that they are qualified in both electrical and plumbing/ heating so you can take advantage of a one stop shop. It's pitch black in the house due to an electrical problem, wait there is a light coming towards me in the darkness, is it a train? no it's Darran from Britannia with a torch. I cannot recommend Britannia highly enough. Excellent customer service and customer care are difficult to find these days but Britannia displayed both when Darran managed to still get to us even after completing a full days work. The repairs were done quickly and efficiently and the lights were on in no time. He was courteous and knowledgeable and apart from the electrical work he also advised us on some planned boiler and heating works. Needless to say we will be using Britannia for these also. Just had a few hours with Darran trying his damndest to diagnose a boiler issue and sort it, spoiler alert: Turns out he was right on original diagnosis and dealt with an unexpected issue that cropped up with the gas supply into my house. Before I even knew it, he'd contacted the gas board, tested and bled all my radiators, repaired my boiler and just completely sorted everything out. Absolutely lovely bloke and team, left me with a working hot shower and radiators. Had a great natter to boot and will absolutely be using their services again and recommending them as much as I can. I was recently looking at a property investment in Pocklington and needed an idea on pricing me up a full gas heating instillation. Almost went with the first quote I got and am so glad I got a second opinion with Britannia. Not only did they save me money, but the other contractors would've cause irreparable damage to my home if they'd gone ahead with what I thought I wanted (which was more expensive than what I actually needed). The honesty and QoS is very much appreciated, and I plan to go with Britannia again should anything else need fixing.

Both men who carried out plumbing work at my property were great - one experienced and one young man on an apprenticeship. The work was done well and in a timely manner and both were polite and even put up with my rather enthusiastically friendly dogs. Would use the company again. *** Had a small issue crop up soon after my above review and they sent a chap out a few days later (it was a non emergency issue) who fixed it very quickly. Just as polite as the first two. No messing around on either job, just quick and solid work, exactly as you’d want.

Called the central heating engineer to my broken boiler. He was professional and friendly and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I have arranged for the company to do annual maintenance checks in the future.

After other people had come to look at my kitchen then blanked me without providing a quote, Britannia have been a breath of fresh air. Darran came the next day and provided a detailed quote for the work - removing an old oven and hob, and fitting a new dual fuel range cooker plus associated wiring needs - the day after. He suggested two days to come for the work, and the only delay then was on my side. I am really pleased with the work that he and Nigel have done.

Contacted Britannia for an emergency call out in the middle of the night. Darran was super helpful and came by asap so the problem was sorted less than two hours from when it began. Would definitely recommend.

I engaged Britannia Services Ltd after recommendation from a local trader who had been unable to resolve problems with existing central heating controls with thermostats for radiators and underfloor heating. Darran was punctual, well organised and always calm. We were impressed with his logical diagnostics, which he clearly explained and which resolved the issues. The whole team was excellent.
