DRC Electrical & Air Conditioning Services

Derek came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. He installed an EV charger at our house in a very tidy and professional manner.

DRC installed air conditioning system into my house using Fujitsu multi split system. He always consulted with me on decisions regarding positioning of internal units and external air source heat pumps. He worked alone but always made sure that he cleaned up after himself and left the rooms neat and tidy. His quote was very competitive compared to others. I highly recommend the work that he’s done.

Great professional service. Had a fuse box problem and he quickly worked out the problem and fixed it all for a fair price. Would recommend.

We had a Hypervolt car charger installed today, Derek was great to advise on install recommendations for future proofing in our new house. We are really pleased with the install and the service - thank you.

Very impressed with this job DRC have done for us today. Great job, zero mess, very efficient. Derek installed a air con unit from scratch, was recommended by a friend who had same dome. Highly recommended company. See photos attached.

Excellent work both internal and external providing us with a watertight double socket box and the necessary additional consumer unit.

Derek came and changed over a few light fittings inside and out. All very quick and efficient. He came when he said he was coming which in recent experience is a huge plus.

Derek provided an excellent service as always, able to carry out the work to hook our garage up woth electrics quickly and professionally. He is always so friendly and the work was done to an excellent quality, we are very happy. I would highly recommend him.

Derek has just fitted our Zappi EV charger. He was prompt, professional and patient with our questions! We cannot recommend him highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent service and high quality of workmanship throughout the whole job. Derek was very thorough and the finish of the job throughout the whole house was really good. The quote and certificates for the work were all communicated really quickly, exactly as promised. I would highly recommend DRC.

Derek installed our ring door bell and some extra electrical sockets for us last year and just been back to install an Ethernet line and more sockets. Really pleased with all the work. Always neat and tidy.

I asked Derek to install some new plug sockets throughout the entire house. He was so efficient and upfront about all the work that was going to be required, especially when it came to making sure sections of the house were put on to separate circuits. Derek is efficient and goes above and beyond, I can't recommend him enough. If you're looking for a great, friendly and reliable electrician then definitely call Derek!

Derek installed a Hypervolt EV charger for us recently and we're very happy with the work he and his team did. He is very knowledgeable and provided very helpful guidance on where it would be best placed, what I need to do before it can be installed etc. Very punctual, professional and tidy on the day and helped minimise disruption as I work from home. Glad I could use someone from our local community as well. Would not hesitate to recommend DRC Electrical Services to anyone or use them again in the future!

Dan was excellent, responding to my original request for a quote, transparent on costs and working with my changing requirements, ordering the parts and fitting them quickly, he even tidied up afterwards which is more than I can say for previous contractors.

Really pleased with quality of car charger and electric socket installed. Easy to communicate and professional service throughout. Would highly recommend and use again in the future. Thanks Derek

Derek installed an EV charger for us. His communication and advice beforehand was excellent. He was punctual and extremely professional on the day and has done an extremely neat job of installing the new charger. Wouldn't hesitate to use again, thank you.

Derek installed our 4 split air conditioning and put in some Ethernet points for us in a few of our rooms and garage. The air conditioning pipe runs and power cable run weren’t the most easy, involving a lot of difficult work outside to attach it all but Derek did it no problem and left it looking very nice and left us feeling nice and cool inside! He honestly has been the best tradesperson who I’ve ever used. He was extremely responsive (both email and text), quoted in a quick timeframe, did the work in a quick timeframe and did everything to a very high standard. Even when holes were necessary in the ceiling or floor to get the cables to where we wanted Derek did a great job of covering up and filling these in so we just need to add some paint before they’re good as new. He also didn’t seem to mind me following him around and asking questions which is always a plus! I would highly recommend DRC and definitely will be using them when it comes to our electrical work we need doing! I wouldn’t even consider anyone else.

Derek did a great job installing new lights and sockets in my garage. Highly Recommended

Great service. Derek is really friendly and professional and does a great job at reasonable rates. Fully recommended.

Derek visited prior to providing a quote for an EV charger. He took the time to explain the installation process and various installation options. He arrived on the date as promised to carry out the work and did a very professional job. The work was neat, clean and tidy, he put in the extra effort to make it all look good and explain how everything worked after it was all up and running. Very happy with the work and will definitely use Derek again in the future.

Derek talked us through everything and was so great about getting back to us with every little question. He also fit us in quickly and made the whole thing stress-free. Would highly recommend.

Great service from Derek. Helped me work through both product and installation options to suit our vehicles. Arrive promptly, courteous and cleaned up after the work was completed. Guarantees arrived as promised within a couple of hours. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him.

Reached out to Derek regarding the installation of an electric vehicle charger. Didn't really have any idea as to what we were looking for but Derek talked us through all the options and helped us arrive at the best suited charger for our requirements. Installed the charger promptly, to a high standard and talked me through the app setup. Derek is very knowledgeable and we would recommend highly.

Derek supplied and installed an AndersenA2 EV charger. He did a great job of fitting it neatly exactly where we agreed it would go and left everything clean and tidy. As well as ensuring the work was completed as soon as the car was listed as eligible (and not before) he also helped us get the Andersen order in before a price rise. Not only this but he was always on time and always friendly and a pleasure to have working at our house.

Highly recommended. Brilliant customer service and quality workmanship, will happily use again.

Excellent service from Derek, very professional, neat, tidy and efficient. I got 3 quotes from various companies for the supply and installation of an EV car charger and whilst he wasn't the cheapest he was the most credible and thorough in his responses to my queries. The installation went very smoothly and according to plan without any hiccups (at least not to my knowledge); we are very happy with the work, recommend DRC and will definitely use again for any further electrical or air conditioning requirements we have in the future.

Derek responded really quickly to my request for a quote for the installation of an EV home charging point. He responded just as quickly to my questions regarding the quote. He kept me informed about the delivery of the equipment kit and he had installed the charger less than a fortnight after he visited to assess the work. Derek is very personable and seems to be a highly-competent electrician. I would thoroughly recommend him

Used Derek on multiple occasions now. Always very professional and great level of work. Really happy once again with the work completed. Thanks

Derek was professional and helpful from the first interaction. I called him out of the blue on a Saturday (sorry about that!) for some advice on EV Charger fitting, he helped out right away. I then contacted him a few weeks later to ask him to come and assess /cost the job, he was friendly, knowledgeable and quick, we received the quote via email later on in the day, which was as expected price wise. On the day of install, Derek was on time, he told me what he was doing at each point (I'm nosey like that) and completed the job as expected, no issues. he tidied up after the work and made sure everything was operational. professional through and through, I would 100% recommend DRC to anyone looking for an EV charger install (or any other electrical need!)

We are extremely happy with the installation of our new electric car charger. Derek was very thorough and did a clean & tidy job. Arrived on time and was great at explaining the work involved. I would recomend DRC Electrical Services and will use again for any electrical services.

This is the second time I’ve used Derek, he arrives on time, fully explains what he’s going to do and then gets on with it. He cleans up when he’s finished and the work is nicely finished. I would recommend him to anyone, very much a perfect professional.

This is the 3rd time we have used DRC Electrical services and as always the service Derek gives is first class! We would recommend to anyone who requires electrical works to be done.

As a lot of my lights had blown and replacing them didn't fix the issue. Derek came, told me the issue and even looked at other lights before providing me with a quote. He then replaces all the fittings and made sure everything worked. He and Jamie cleaned island tidied everything leaving me with no mess and working lights. I'll definitely be calling DRC Electrical next time I need an electrician

Very professional. Work was completed to a high standard with minimum disruption.

Fantastic service and efficient

We have used Derek for over two years now. We recently had to call him out to fix a problem with a cooker which turned out to be a problem with the switch. Super quick, efficient and friendly he got it sorted, including going out and sourcing the part he need nearby. Would highly recommend; knowledgeable, friendly and reasonable.

Derek and his colleague did a great job fitting our new cooker hood, working efficiently and cleanly, even when the job turned out to be trickier than he thought it would be. Based on this experience I would have no hesitation to use him again. Thank you Derek.

Derek did a great job of fitting a new cooker extractor fan. Whilst he was round, I also asked him to check my heaters to ensure they were working properly (I had just moved in) Derek checked all of them and noticed that a component had melted in one of the heaters and promptly ordered a part, came back and fitted it. I know now a great electrician who I can trust and in addition, have recommended to family and friends.

Derek has done a superb job fitting spotlights, uplighters, sockets, wired ethernet, TV mounts and smart home tech. He has been both thorough and highly professional in his approach, with all works done to a high standard. Would Recommend!
