Dear Reader, I had occasion to enjoy a couple of visits from S&S recently. The job, was to install a couple of heat alarms in two units (A/B) within the same property. I have some small experience with dealing with contractors, so when after the first visit whereby the trunking for the cabling appeared a mite unsightly, I made a point of expressing exactly that. I have a saying; If you say nothing, nothing changes... Communication, and subsequent response was near immediate. I spoke directly to Chloe and Simon, who were both responsive, especially Chloe, and empathetic when viewing attached photographs. The point really is this, and it's one that I address personally every single day, as my own client base is as demanding as demanding can be. Things go wrong in the real world. Volume, loss of control, and basic tardiness can often cause issues with performance, and as I say to my own clients, you will never (hopefully), know how good I am, until things go wrong, Initially, there were issues, but they were acknowledged, accepted, and promptly responded to. You can really ask no more from a contractor. I never felt I had to escalate matters in order to properly reconcile them. I did feel however, I was dealing with reasonable people, and therefore being reasonable in addressing them, was just so much nicer and easier. That, was my experience, and I'm therefore happy to share it, along with a solid recommendation.

Serra & Speller took my money up front of circa £1,250 to fix my boiler and yet they NEVER fixed it. My boiler didn't even work for one hour. The co-owner Simon Speller has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with. They never stuck to their one year guarantee and they charged upfront for extra hours they didn't do. I had to get the manufacturer to fix my boiler. Avoid this firm at all costs. We are taking this firm to court to get the full refund. I don't care what they reply to my post, Simon Speller is not even a plumber and wasn't even there but he is not a very smart business person at all by not giving us a full refund.

One of the best Property maintenance companies I have seen so far! S&S operate a lot in Central London and can help with small jobs or larger refurbishment projects. Sian and Martin in particular provide a great experience; from start to finish they will guide and advise you on all aspects of a project (especially complicated ones)! I would not recommend enough if you are looking for an amazing service, and a good quality of works. Thank you!
