Oakleigh Driveways

We had tarmacking done on our front garden and they did a fantastic job. It looks beautiful and we are very pleased with their work. We highly recommend. Thankyou so much to the team who did it.

WOW!!! Alex and his team Shaun and Lennon . They have worked their socks off from mid day Monday to mid day today Friday to re create the two drives between ours and next doors houses. As in any job you never know exactly what will be involved until work is started and of course there were a couple of unexpected issues. The lads went above and beyond to make sure our driveways and garden paths suited our houses and that we were all very happy. They even replaced the old sleepers around our tree replacing them with the same yellow cobbles to tie the project together. I would definitely recommend Oakleigh Driveways , a great very polite and courteous team with excellent work ethics

Oakleigh drives and patios were excellellent. Alex,Shaun and Lennon (and the rest of the team) worked extremely hard. They did a really good job making our new large driveway. We really like what they have done and they returfed our old lawn as well which looks really nice now. Alex and team were very polite and also kept things tidy. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was o.k. We would really recommend them.

Oakleigh Driveways have recently redone our driveway adding cobbles and a resin surface. They were the most competitive and reasonable in terms of pricing, which is why we went with them. Alec, Lennon and Shaun were brilliant from start to finish. They worked really hard, even through the hottest days in May, to ensure that our drive was completed on time. They were very accommodating to any small changes and worked with us to make sure that we were happy with the work. They are a lovely team and really care about what they do. Our driveway looks amazing and we have had no end of compliments. We would be happy recommend them.

We gave Alex the job as he was the only one who quoted that took the time to explain the pros and cons of resin versus block paving and actually brought samples with him , he was not he cheapest but was not the most expensive either ,( there was no hard sell we contacted him through a leaflet that came through the door a while before). Shaun and Lennon turned up on the job and worked like Trojans there is no doubting their work ethic , everything was done with a smile they were very polite and anything i asked them to change or tweak slightly was done ,nothing was too much trouble (just keep them fuelled with tea ,two sugars and milk and custard creams),the job was done much quicker than i anticipated and they went out of there way not too inconvenience people in my street and the neighbours ,cleaning up behind them every day . We had a driveway on three different levels taken down to one ,new drainage and a wall removed and a fence put up in it's place . All things required to do the job were sourced locally which was reassuring as you know who you are dealing with and it becomes obvious this is a trusted company that they work alongside regularly. The guys who came to do the resin arrived a day ahead of schedule ,led by Luke , again a pleasure to have around ,i made a last minute decision to change the pattern this was no problem to them or Alex and was done with no fuss , the product recommended to do the job was what was used and is absolute top quality stuff as was promised by Alex and backed up by Luke , these boys must be amongst the best in the business the finished drive is absolutely stunning ,they could not have done a better job. I work as a building inspector and i know what i am looking at , i saw the whole process as i worked from home this week and what i was promised was what i got , i cannot recommend this company enough ,i have had so many compliments on it from neighbours ,friends ,passers-by , Top job Top Guys ,i will actually miss them now they are done . The proof is in the pudding my postcode is NG15 6PS drive by and have a look , you won't need the door number as you will see straight away which drive it is , you cannot miss this genuinely 5 Star job.

Had a resin drive installed by Oakleigh in 2024 with the 10 year gaurantee. Less than 12 months later a large crack appeared causing deformation to the drive (see pictures below). Made numerous contacts and calls to the office, direct messages with Dean, and further emails to the company. There have always been promises/commitments to fix the issue, however, still no action a year on from when the issue was first reported and since then pretty much no more responses. Maybe others have had different experiences, but unfortunately, I cannot give more than 1 star for the very poor after installation care. The lads who came out and installed the drive were all friendly and hard workers, so its really unfortunate I have had to post this review. And in fact if we did not have this saga and issue, my review would have likely been close to a 5 star review. I will say this to be fair: If my issue can be resolved in a timely manner, I will be more than okay to change my review.

Had our patio done by these lads. Brilliant bunch of lads done an excellent job would definitely recommend them. Surprised once the hardcore was down just how quick the resin was laid Looks fantastic. Well pleased

Had some tatty lawn removed and a tarmac drive laid. Job completed as described and everything left neat and tidy afterwards. Very happy with the finished job Paid the bill on completion no money need up front. Would recommend.

Tarmac driveway and fencing completed today. Shaun and Lennon have been absolutely fantastic throughout! Hard working, friendly and always respectful of our property. We're very happy with the result. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing quality workmanship. The lads were professional from day one. I would recommend Oakleigh Driveways to anyone.

Great work on our driveway which had some challenges. Nice workmen, reasonable prices, and made sure we were completely happy before payment.

Dean and his team were very efficient, organised and friendly. They removed the 2 layers of old tarmac from our drive, and replaced them with a perfect covering of new tarmac. Thanks!

A year on.... 1 year on from the driveway and still looks great ! Great quote these lads make the Job look easy ! Sean and Lennon had 2 days on there own and grafted now stop the Job was completed in 4.5 days for garden patio and tarmac driveway Dean and Alec responded well also 👌 Small issue with sleepers in the garden in which they said would return but didnt . Im sure they have just forgotten ! Would use again and recommend!

We have recently had a new driveway constructed by the team from Oakleigh. As well as the drive, they also replaced the block pavers laid around the edge of the front lawn. Oakleigh provided a very competitive quotation. The team of workers consisted of Sean, Nathan and Lennon and they worked very hard. They arrived on time, they were polite, good humoured and left everywhere tidy at the end of each day. There was a small error with the block pavers, but this was acknowledged by the guys and rectified straight away. We are very pleased with our new driveway and the extra space it has given us and we would be happy to recommend Oakleigh Driveways.

I can't rave about these guys enough, they have done an amazing job, sandstone paving & raised edging in the back garden, with lawn area also tarmacked the drive, both look great 👍 Loads of compliments from neighbours & family.. Sean, Lennon & Nathan worked their socks off everyday & through the rain.. always on time..thank you lads 😊 A fabulous company, would highly recommend, thank you to Alec & Dean also from a very happy customer 5/5 ❤️

I booked in for quote waited all day gave the company a call twice the lady on call said will forward my message still waited no reply. Wasted my time not reliable service.

Excellent job turning our weed ridden drive into one to behold with certain kerb appeal. Excellent hard working guys! Had many compliments from neighbours and friends! Thankyou to Alec and his team! Would recommend to anyone. Anne P

Amazing service by Oakleigh Driveways could not have been better! From getting our quote last Friday (12th) from Alec, work started Monday (15th) and it was completed on Tuesday (16th) - astonishing considering how much they had to do! Sean, Lennon and Nathan worked so hard, so quickly and so professionally we couldn't have asked for better. Thank you so much for the hard work guys, we absolutely love our new driveway!

Very reasonable quote with nothing to pay upfront. Great bunch of lads: professional, respectful, good humoured and very hardworking. Finished whole job in just 2 days. Excellent! Thank you Alec, Sean, Lennon & Nathan.

Decided to block pave our drive. Very competitive quote. Team turned up on agreed date. Professional, respectful, good humoured and very hard working. Completed the job in 2 days. Highly satisfied. A big thank you to Alec, Sean, Lennon & Nathan.

Very fast, efficient and friendly service. Our driveway was in a complete mess. They removed the old driveway and did a beautiful job both with creating a new tarmac surface but also taking care with the edges and putting in a new step. The results look fantastic. They were also acutely aware that my wife has a mobility disability and were very sensitive to her needs and requirements. Cannot fault this firm.

My mum had a bad fall at home due to old uneven slabs. We have had new resin paths, patio and driveway installed by Oakleigh and are extremely pleased with how they look and how safe it is walking around the house and drive. Thanks to Shaun and the team for all their hard work and Alec and Dean for their expert advice plus thanks to all the team for their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Great new patio and driveway really pleased with the result they worked really hard and everything was cleaned up and left no mess would recommend

Very happy with the new landscaping front and back, looks great and compliments from the neighbours. The team worked hard from start to finish taking only 2 days for a complete transformation. Complete with jet wash and re-sanding of existing driveway. Great job all round. Thanks to all involved.

Brilliant service. Love the driveway and it was all done so efficiently. Dean and his team are so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Pressed me to let him call and give a quote. Never turned up although I rang him twice and he assured me he would be with me within a couple of minutes each time. Left me hanging around for a couple of hours waiting. Why would anyone not just cancel rather than doing this? Wouldn’t use.

NEW Tarmac Drive: Started 10th: finished 13/02/25. Shaun and Co worked their socks off all the time. A small problem with lying water was resolved very quickly with another tarmac overlay. Unusual in this day and age for people to do what they say. Full marks to Dean and Alex. Thank you for a great job done professionally.

Highly recommended - I absolutely love my new resin driveway, which was completed within a week of accepting the quote. Have had lots of compliments from neighbours and passers by. Shaun and his team were great - polite and friendly, they worked tidily and efficiently and listened to and incorporated my design suggestions. Same goes for the two men who laid the resin. Reassured to have a 10 year guarantee from this long-established, local family business. Thank you!

We are very pleased with our Resin driveway and path recently completed by Dean and his team. They also levelled our front garden and rebuilt a retaining wall. I would certainly recommend them.

Thanks so much for a great job! Absolutely delighted with our gorgeous new driveway. Amazing team, really polite, friendly and a pleasure to have around!

Shaun and his team did a great job on our resin driveway. Very good finish and excellent job.

Thanks so much for a great job. Absolutely delighted with our gorgeous new driveway. Fab team, really polite and a pleasure to have around. I wish every piece of work we need doing to the house was as straightforward!

超级超级推荐！！专业靠谱。Highly recommend, thanks Dean and all the team.

Fantastic job by Oakleigh Driveways. Everyone was so friendly and they all worked so hard and did a great job. They cleared up after themselves too. Well recommended.

We decided to have our drive extended and couldn't be more impressed with the work carried out. We choose to have resin, which looks really good. The men were a good bunch, not only polite but worked very hard and left no mess. I would definitely recommend them.

New resin driveway, pathway and small patio area laid as we hoped and expected by the Oakleigh team. Hardworking professional team with continuous communication to update the project due to the recent weather which interrupted the flow of work. Would recommend.

The Oakleigh team laid a resin drive that we are delighted with . Alec , Dean , Shaun , Lennon and Tyler worked hard over 5 days to give us a quality drive . The resin team also worked hard to give us the exact colour we wanted that complements our brickwork and sandstone paving . Well done all of you ! I recommend Oakleigh . In addition we are in a high risk area for flooding so the porous nature of resin is a no brainer .

Very professional and outstanding Finnish

Really pleased with my new resin bound driveway fitted by Oakleigh Driveways. Alex, Dean, Shaun and Alec were a pleasure to work with. It’s always an anxious time having such a large project done but the lads worked their socks off, were polite and also very mindful of not causing unnecessary disruption to my neighbours. The finished result exceeds expectations and I would definitely recommend.

They came round to do a quote, given a lead time of 6 weeks to do the job. Zero communication after the quote, called their reception several times past the 6 week period for them to provide me with a date for the works to be carried out. Nothing after 3 chase calls. Used a different driveway company in the end. As a business you should always be fair with your customer, communicate with them and set expectations you can meet. If not, let them know that things have changed. The complete failure in communication from whoever runs this business is appalling. You might take the demand for your work for granted so you feel like you can treat prospective customers with little respect. One day your workload will dry up and you will ask yourself what happened. Be better. Inclined to leave a 1 star review, but because they never carried out any work for me to judge, I can't say that is justified.

Nearly two years ago, we hired Oakleigh Driveways to install our driveway and garden patio. Alec came to provide a quote and assured us that we wouldn’t have to pay until the job was completed. This was especially reassuring given the negative experiences we had previously with other traders. After discussing our concerns about maintenance and the potential for weeds, Alec convinced us to opt for block paving, guaranteeing that no weeds would grow in the grout. At first, things seemed promising. Sean and Lennon, the workers on the project, were diligent and worked hard on the garden patio. However, about a week into the job, they requested payment. We reminded them that Alec had promised no payment until the work was finished—a promise he had put in writing. They called Alec, who came over and threatened to halt the project and remove everything if we didn’t pay immediately. Fearing that the work wouldn’t be completed, we reluctantly paid. Initially, the driveway looked great, but just a couple of weeks later, a heavy downpour revealed a significant issue: water pooling in one corner of the driveway. I took photos and sent them to Alec, who assured me it was a quick fix and that someone would be sent to address it. Despite numerous calls and messages, no one has ever come to fix the problem. A few months after the driveway was completed, weeds began growing between the paving stones—exactly what Alec had guaranteed wouldn’t happen. I tried contacting Alec, but he never answered my calls. When I called the main company, they said Alec was the one responsible for our area and that I should deal with him directly. I sent photos of the weeds and the water pooling via email. Alec responded a couple of times, promising to send someone, but unsurprisingly, no one ever showed up. In addition, the patio at the back has also developed issues, with weeds growing through the grout and some of the side pavers cracking due to a lack of proper support underneath. We’ve since had to hire another contractor to fix these issues. Given the significant amount of money we paid, we expected Oakleigh Driveways to stand by their work and resolve these problems. Unfortunately, they did not. This is a warning to anyone considering them for their driveway or patio—be cautious.

Thank you Oakleigh Driveways for our new Resin drive. The guys who installed it worked tremendously hard, they were polite and friendly., We did have a few communication difficulties but they were sorted out. The Resin drive looks fantastic, love the colour, the fact that it is porous and that no grit is being trailed into the house. So overall delighted with it.

Happy with my driveway. The team worked hard, answered my questions and completed ahead of time and on budget. Would reccomend.

Oakleigh Driveways did an excellent job on my tarmac driveway. The process was quick, hassle-free, and affordable. My old driveway was in poor condition, but their hardworking team transformed it into a high-quality surface. The team was professional, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering the best results. I highly recommend Oakleigh Driveways to anyone in need of driveway services.

Can’t fault these guys, super nice bunch that graft! Really pleased with the patio, looks 👌 Also, makes a change when the price is the price, no extras! Highly recommend 👍

Absolutely fantastic. Oakleigh were superb. They worked really hard to do a quality and efficient job. Dean, Shaun, Leonard and Nathan were a pleasure to have around our home. Thank you for your wonderful work. I absolutely recommend Oakleigh Driveways to anyone.

We have had our drive block paved by Oakleigh Driveways and couldn’t be happier. From start to finish it was a plain sailing experience. Dean was so easy to deal with and friendly with, he is a credit to the company. The lads were helpful, understanding, professional and extremely friendly, a great happy bunch. The work was of such a high standard and quality not forgetting the reasonable quote we had from Dean, we have had so many of our neighbours knocking on our door to say how lovely and great our new drive looks and how great it has been constructed. The whole house looks bigger and has more status of elegance to it, all thanks to Oakleigh Driveways. I am an extremely fussy person who looks for perfection in details and if Oakleigh Driveways leaves me happy then they are a great company to deal with. There was no commitment pressure either which is an important, and unique quality in a company. To Dean, Shaun, Lennon and Nathan a big thank you guys, your work is excellent in quality a credit to Oakleigh Driveways. Please guys keep up the brilliant work. Wishing you the best of the best, you all deserve it. Yet another brilliantly very well-done job by Oakleigh Driveways. Thank you all. Wishing you the best of the best, you all deserve it. Yet another brilliantly very well-done job by Oakleigh Driveways. Thank you all.

A friend used these, avoid. Never came back to fix the issue and wouldn’t return calls or emails!!!! Cowboys

Oakleigh Driveways have transformed my front garden with a new tarmac driveway edged with cobbles. I cannot praise Dean, Sean Lennan and the team enough for their professionalism, friendliness and efficiency. Even my neighbours commented on what a lovely team they were, nothing was too much trouble, and they cleaned up afterwards. The driveway looks amazing and it was completed in a timely manner by a well organised well equipped team. I have no hesitation in recommending them

The team did a great job at re-building my retainer wall and a new tarmac drive. We are very happy with it all.

We had several quotations for a new resin bound driveway. Several companies had a pressurised approach requiring a large on the spot deposit. Dean of Oakleigh Driveways had a great no pressurised approach and the price was relatively reasonable. The work was carried out very efficiently to a high standard. The communication from Dean was first rate. The new drive looks fabulous. Thankyou Dean and Oakleigh Driveways.

Job not completed despite being paid in full ( did not hang the gates) and has not the returned the equipment they borrowed from us despite numerous requests.

I can't thank Oakleigh Driveways enough for their exceptional work on my tarmac driveway. From start to finish, the process was quick, hassle-free, and affordable. My old driveway was a complete mess, but thanks to their hardworking team, it's now transformed into a top-quality surface. The lads on their team are truly exceptional - professional, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering the best results. I would highly recommend Oakleigh Driveways to anyone in need of driveway services.

Very impressed with the standard of work, attention to detail, speed, and final look of our new driveway. Everyone was very friendly and hard working. Highly recommended, a job well done.

Oakleigh driveways were incredible efficient and transformed my front garden into a driveway in around 2 working days. Within 2 hours they had everything ripped out and within the second day had it ready and the tarmac on it. The guys were very lovely and respectful. The process couldn’t have been simpler, Dean was very efficient. They kept the area clean and tidy every day and were respectful of the neighbours when they were asking questions about the shared fence. I would absolutely use them again in the future and I would recommend them to anyone (especially if you want it done simple and quick!)

I am Katie’s said neighbour, when she told me that they were having their drive done, I was elated and it came at the right time for me to jump on the band wagon whilst it was rolling, I was so excited as this came as a surprise that I didn’t have to wait for and I was buzzing. Dean and his team were really friendly and professional, an absolute joy to have them around for several days, we are all really happy with the entire process and the finish is better than we’d hoped for. Thank you so much and I would definitely recommend, as I also feel that they are competitively priced and will do any work you’d like. Very humble, polite young men.

Dean and his team have been absolutely amazing! From start to finish they have been nothing but polite and gracious. whilst our driveway was being started my neighbour requested hers to be done too, this did not faze dean and his team, they got straight to work on that too (as we share access to both driveways it just made sense to do them both together) this didn’t stop or slow them down from working on ours though! Excellent customer service from all team members. When we first contacted dean we had a vision, but what they have given us has completely blown us away! Would 100% recommend. Thank you all so much for making a dream into reality.

Great customer service - we are delighted with our new gravel driveway and couldn’t recommend Dean and the team highly enough.

Lads worked hard and were very polite; definitely a nice bunch to have around the place! They were keen to know you were happy with progress. My blockpaved drive has been made good and the resin bound section looks nice too. Also, I like the great comms via text! It made everything easier. Thanks guys.

Brilliant job. Done in a speedy timeframe too. Would recommend highly to anyone looking for a new driveway

Very efficient and got driveway done to decent standard but added VAT to the cost at the end, when there was no mention of VAT being extra in the original quote. This may be common for trade work but for consumers is certainly unethical. No paperwork invoice, guarantee, provided as yet despite several promises. Another few weeks, had to take it down a star, still no paperwork. Easiest part of job and failing badly. Another couple of weeks and still no paperwork, cant go lower than 1 star. **** Came back a year later as the drive had slightly dipped. Brought it back level, guys as before were very efficient. Also got the paperwork so no complaints.****

Our large and old concrete driveway has been transformed into a new resin driveway that we are very pleased with. All the team were great and we had a new fence installed at the same time. Would definitely recommend.

Great service and price. Came quoted and did the job even sooner than promised. Highly recommended.

Turned a mess of mud and tarmac into a clean tidy bricked driveway. Team worked very hard and it was done in 2 days. Very pleased!

Great work carried out it looks amazing!! The lads were lovely, professional and quick. Drive dug out, fencing put up and tarmac laid in 4 days! Will recommend to anyone. Thanks 😊

Did an excellent job on front and back driveway and paving and made sure the finish was top.

We just had our drive and back garden redone by Oakleigh Driveways. Really happy with the result but equally impressed with the team’s professionalism, enthusiasm and work ethic. Would highly recommend them.

Lovely hard working staff. Friendly and always on time. The work was carried about quickly and to a high standard. Only issue I had was to make sure you ask if the quote is with or without VAT - as they sprung it on me last min that it was a cash only quote otherwise I needed to pay another 1.2k VAT ontop.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but pleased to do so this time. We’ve had a sandstone patio and also a cobble path finished today and really pleased with the work. Dean, Sean and the team completed quickly and to a high standard - despite the heatwave. Happy to recommend.

Excellent experience with this company. Nothing was too much trouble. Professional from start to finish and a lovely group of chaps. Highly recommend!

After a number of quotes I choose Oakleigh because of their competitive quote, and the thoughtful advise that was given. It took just over a day to block pave my drive, which looks fab and lives up to my expectations. The team where hard working and cleaned up the site before leaving. I would certainly recommend Oakleigh.

Had our driveway block paved. Company were prompt and professional. Worked very quickly and to a high standard. Responsive to queries. Also good value compared to other local companies.

I seen 4 other companies before oakleigh Driveways and to be honest I go on how people are and after seeing the reviews and meeting with Luke who took me through everything I wanted to know. Luke and his team did a brilliant job. the team are very polite and friendly I'd recommend this company to anyone. I'm having to update this due to less than a year my tarmac drivway put down and having an uneaven service where the cars have been parked so on raining days puddles are forming. I have requested support and something to be done but nothing, so I'm going down to a 3 star rating until something has happened.

We are so far very pleased with our driveway, it has been completed in a very professional way.

Oakleigh driveways have just completed my front drive.Took away my old drive and the small garden area and produced a modern tarmaced area Looks magnificent. This team know what they are doing, Alec ,Dean, Shaun, Lennon and Nathan are all very professional, arriving on time and not leaving until their daily task is compleated (about 17.00hrs ) Sharing some fun with us while they were here, inbetween tea and coffee breaks. I had checked out several companys but went for Oakleighs driveways. correct choice. So look no further if you are looking for a new drive and give them a ring Bob Esther Dakin and Nita ( tea and coffee maker )

Great job done, great team of men always polite, worked hard to get the job done even in the rain, Sean who was with us for the full 3 days was a lovely professional man who took pride in his work, can not thank you all enough. very happy with the result. Michelle and paddy

Had a new cobblestone driveway installed with new fencing and step very happy overall would highly recommend this company to anyone, thanks.

We are very pleased with the results of our new drive. The whole team were hard working and got the job done quickly and professionally. Would recommend.

Just had my driveway replaced by Sean,Lennon and Nathan, very pleased with the finished job.I would highly recommend this company.

The work they did was fantastic, friendly and professional team. They completed the work in 2 days, cleared all the waste all done at a good price. I would definitely you this company again. Thank you

Excellent team, job completed with minimum disruption, met all requirements, finished job looks great.

Oakleigh did my drive to a high standard very happy, even took away some rubbish I had from a bathroom renovation. Satisfied, would recommend. I’ve had to update my review and drop it to a 3 star. They did do my drive beautifully but they’ve left there sign outside my property for 3 months each time I call they either answer and give you a date and never show, or they ignore your call for months on end. For this reason I wouldn’t trust there 10 year guarantee seen as they can’t even come and collect there own sign, do you really think they’ll come and sort an issue out, I think not. If you use them DO NOT LET THEM LEAVE A SIGN! it’s a real shame as I wanted to use them again to do the rest of my drive but with this kind of service I’ll use someone else.

We had our driveway paving and major garden landscaping done by Oakleigh. Very hard working guys especially Shaun and Lennon. Everyone is so friendly. The bricky also need special mentioning. Competitive quote by Alec and work done to good standards. Will definitely recommend. 👍🏼

Had a new resin driveway fitted, really pleased with the result. It's made a massive difference to the look of the property and provided an additional place to park. Competitive price, very friendly team, great service. Highly recommend.

Not in the habit of writing reviews but when credit's due...Had a driveway created today and have to say the service was great! Job was competitively priced and the team was friendly, polite and respectful. Cant fault them 5/5 stars.

I employed Oakleigh Driveways to block pave our drive, path and patio. They also fitted a garden gate. The work was quoted as being a 4/5 day job. However, it took almost 9 weeks before the work was more or less completed. There were multiple excuses for the delay - difficulty with supplies, longer then expected time to repair the digger, family illness (surely not a reason for the business to stop). There were numerous photos calls, e-mails, texts, some of which were ignored or unanswered. Promises were broken. The edging was completely wrong- a fact eventually acknowledged- concrete laid on soil which immediately started to crack. The correct edging blocks have now been laid, but the concrete has been left in situ in places. The gate is the wrong size and has been badly fitted. It was agreed the gate would be replaced, but the excuse for not doing so was that it was on order (after 2 weeks,). A refund was offered and agreed, but to date no money has been received (3 months and counting). The garden furniture was on the lawn the whole time, resulting in yellow patches. I would not recommend Oakleigh Driveways under any circumstances. The whole experience had been extremely stressful.

Really pleased with my driveway, would 100% recommend!

Dean and his team have done a great job on our drive! Have already recommended them to family

Very hard working team beautiful block drive would definitely recommend

We have just had our driveway blocked paved with 3 Security posts fitted by Oakleigh Driveways and the finished result is! Amazing!! Amazing!! Amazing!! The guys all work extremely hard as a team there polite, professional honest and competent at what they do. What they don’t know about the job is not worth knowing. Special thanks to Alex for all his excellent advice (much appreciated) and for Sean the champion step paver.(it’s fantastic) This job is truly a job well done by Oakliegh Driveways as customer satisfaction is their priority of which they have certainly exceeded we are only to happy to recommend them to others. Thank you Alex,Sean,Lennon and the rest of the gang for a job well done you certainly exceeded all our expectations, First class job by a First class company. Fabulous!! We love our new driveway. June&stuart Marsh

Had our Driveway recently done with a grey slate Cobble boarder and tarmac as well as a patio laid at the rear of our house. Would highly recommend these to anyone as the attention to detail and professional attitude they applied to their work was fantastic. Always happy creating a great atmosphere while the job was being carried out as well as very reasonably priced for the work carried out. Again, highly recommend these to anyone thinking of having a driveway, patio or ground work done. 5 star work and would definitely use again in the future.

Turned my embarrassing front yard into a very nice driveway. I had a tarmac drive with blocks edging. The chaps worked hard, made great progress each day, polite and professional. Driveway looks a 1000% better. Thank you very much. Would be very happy to recommend. I've also had a few different quotes. Price was great, also felt like they wanted my business, they were upbeat and keen unlike others who turned up quoted and just didn't seem like they were interested.

I am very pleased with the driveway and patio Oakleigh did for me last year. They returned to fix a small problem with water lying and all is well know. They are one of the few companies who give a 10 year warranty with there work which in this day and age is good. I would recommend them if you are looking for a new patio or drive.

Oakleigh Driveways have done me a new tarmac driveway, fencing and turfed my garden. They also installed sleepers with an Indian stone slabbed patio area. I am very happy with the end result, it has been finished to a very high standard. The team worked tirelessly to get the job finished within the agreed timeframe, thanks to Shaun, Lennon, Dean & Charlie for making my dreams come true. 150 square meters of tarmac, 260 square meters of turf and 57 fence bays, well done guys!

We engaged Oakleigh Driveways to block pave our driveway. We were pleased with the finished result. Sean and Lennon, who seemed to be the main team assigned to us (and also were easiest to speak to) worked incredibly hard and were a pleasure to have around. The external team that was brought in to lay the blocks on the Saturday also worked hard to complete what they could, not leaving until 8pm in the evening. Communication between quotation and start date (even chasing on the start date) and throughout the job could have been better, and some fine details felt a little rushed towards the end, but overall - we are satisfied customers. Take your time with customers would be my only advice . . not everyone wants the job finished ridiculously quickly. Perfection takes time.

We were really impressed with the end result but feel that a few small customer service improvements would make a huge difference. We would definitely recommend their work, and would consider them for any future projects.

Just had a driveway, path at the side of my house, a front door large step put in and part of the stone wall removed to widen the driveway entrance by Sean, Lennon and Charlie from Oakleigh Driveways Derby, great job and I would highly recommend them 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

A big thank you to Dean and his team for their hard work and professionalism. We cannot rate Oakleigh Driveways highly enough. Our new cobble edged tarmac drive and step look fantastic. Excellent workmanship and great attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful and professional service by a great team of men. They worked very hard and were always courteous and friendly. They paid attention to small details and took on any concerns the customer ⁰may have about the work in hand.I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family for an outstanding and amazing job they have completed with care from start to finish.Thank you Oakleigh driveways.

Arranged for them to do my patio Wednesday, they didn't turn up, tried ringing they said we are just packing up our tools and we will be on our way, at 15.30 rang again to no answer, tried ringing Thursday on numerous occasions no response, turned up out of the blue Friday afternoon, they are a hard working bunch of guys and the work is very good but make sure when any extras are added on you double check the original price, added an extra £200 on because we asked them to use the same resin filler for the joints as the slabs, they said we will sort it for you, we should have checked, we now feel slightly annoyed and this has put us off using them for future jobs as they should have stated the extra cost.

The team of Sean,Lennon and Charlie laid block paving to join up two existing areas of paving. They made an excellent job of matching and blending in the new area. They were hard working, courteous and friendly and I would certainly recommend Oakleigh Driveways in the future.

We have just had our front driveway completely refurbished including removal of a conifer tree, hedges and brick wall. The team at Oakleigh driveways worked extremely hard (6 days a week) and their service and attention to detail was excellent. We are very pleased with the end result and they have completely transformed our driveway with new sleeper boarders and a lovely cobble edging. A big thank you to Alex, Dean, Shaun and the rest of the team. Would highly recommend Oakleigh Driveways!!!

On line quote requested and two phone calls with promises of someone will get in touch. Three weeks and still waiting. Not to professional.

I absolutly love my new driveway . It was a pleasure to have this company do the work , the lads were all friendly respectful and hard working , and the team well managed. Excellant value for money and as said befor the end result is brill . I would recomend this company to anyone who needs driveway work . Thanks guys

Great job very friendly bunch of lads who know what there doing, extremely happy with final works and proffessional attitude. Competively priced, effiecent, tidy and neatly installed paved drive. Cant recommend this firm Oakliegh Driveways enough, thank you Dean and Alex

Can't fault them they have done a brilliant job .The workers never stopped working and were very helpful at how they thought would be the best design . We have become good friends and would recommend them especially grandad.

Dean and his team (Sean and Lennon) removed our old concrete driveway and laid down new block brick paving over the past couple of weeks. They were professional, courteous and hard working throughout, and we're very pleased with the finished job. Would certainly recommend.

Very pleased with end result - thank you

Excellent workmanship, happy to recommend their team, rapid completion even with the unavoidable delays due to bad weather.

Had old driveway ripped away and block paving to replace it, really well made, lads professional and amazed how quick the work went.

We have just had our complete front drive and side of house refurbished in block paving. We are really pleased with the results and it is exactly what we wanted. The service was excellent, they were very friendly and worked extremely hard to overcome difficult unforeseen circumstances, giving an excellent result. Would highly recommend.

Just had the drive block paved and it looks very good. The team worked extremely hard even through a snowstorm and completed the task very quickly. They are anxious to make sure that you are completely satisfied with every aspect of the build and will alter anything to suite your requirements. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these professionals.

Used these guys to block pave my driveway and side of house. I cannot praise them highly enough. They were very professional and worked extremely hard. They could not do enough to make sure I was happy at every stage. They had it done much quicker than expected. If you want your drive revamping in any way, then these are your guys. A big thank you to all of the team.

The service was excellent . The job was started within hours of our agreement to start. We now have a super new drive side path and patio. The team were very hardworking polite and helpfull. Particular thanks to Shaun Lennon and Nemati. They were artists with the brick cutter and worked exceptionally hard. We would strongly reccomend Oakleigh to anyone.

Oakleigh Drievways did contact me and offer to send someone over to fix this problem for me or alternatively give me some compensation if i would rather do it myself. They were more than reasonable in trying to resolve this. Damaged my property and had no response despite trying to contact them countless times. This company installed a driveway next door to my property. They excavated the driveway lower than the original pavement level and undermined the footings of my boundary wall removing some of the earth from underneath the boundary stone baskets and leaving the base MOT exposed and falling away. During the works they had pallets of block pavers delivered and left on the pavement in front of my driveway for some days. The workmen led hoses over my front garden and through newly planted shrubs, they also left countless materials on my property and used my boundary stone baskets as work benches. No respect for other peoples property.

Just had our drive paved and these guys have been brilliant. They worked really quickly and our drive looks fantastic. The lads worked extremely hard. Would not hesitate to recommend these in future. Thanks again

very punctual and professional service new driveway tarmac and brick edging looks great turned up on time to do work at one point 8 people working all day to get the job done in a efficient and professional way.

Ken and his team were absolutely brilliant he was professional and reliable from start to finish. He started by completing our driveway with a beautiful asphalt and block finish which looks incredible. I then recommend him to my mum who was looking for a redesign of an unusable back garden. Ken was brilliant at designing and landscaping her garden and within a week completely transformed it to make it safe, accessible and maintenance free. She looking forward to enjoying her garden now in the summer. Ken and his team went above and beyond with a friendly professional service. We would definitely recommend them to others. Thanks Ken! Alix, Mark & Pam

Alex, Dean and the team did an excellent job on our drive. We now have fantastic resin driveway and are very happy with the result. Sean did an amazing job with the block paving edges. Would highly recommend Oakleigh for the high quality of their work.

The service was excellent. I ended up having a lot more work done than was originally planned, but the outcome was superb, I can't remember what the drive and garden was like before. I would particularly like to mention Shaun, Lennon and Liam, who worked unbelievably hard to get the job done and completed. I would recommend this team

1st class !!! From day one Dean and his team provided us with a 1st class service. Advice on design and materials was invaluable, the quote was highly competitive and all of my questions up to the start of works were answered professionally and promptly. Once on site, and despite the recent heatwave, the lads worked tirelessly and to the highest of standards, with minimal mess and disruption, always taking the time to answer questions and explain step by step what they doing and why. The result - a fabulous job, from the initial excavation work, the edging and the block laying through to the tidying up afterwards, far exceeding expectations, would recommend them in a heartbeat 👍

Just wanted to say how pleased I am with the finished driveway that the Oakleigh Driveways did for me last week. A thoroughly professional team who work well together, are friendly, hardworking and produce outstanding results. Dean, Shaun and the rest of the team are a credit to the Company and I would easily recommend them to anyone for work to be carried out at a very competitive price. First class job by a first class team.

Well there drives may well be brilliant but no good if they don't want the work. Chose them because they have good reviews and their web site looks like they do nice drives with a bit more imagination than most. Rang them three times and got a pleasant response saying someone would call me back. Also posted on the enquiry form on their site, Alll many days apart. Only after the third call did someone call back and said they would come round on the following Saturday. They then didn't show up or even call to apologise. So pretty hopeless really. If they are too busy then at least get the girl who answers the phone to say so.

My drive looks lovely now and they literally did it within a few days. Quick service and quality work!! I also seen a very large driveway they did in Spondon and that looks brilliant also. Would definitely use for the paving in my back garden next. Highly recommended

Very impressed with the job done with our driveway. The team were hardworking and professional, achieving a high quality result over a short time frame. I would highly recommend them.

We had several different quotes and decided to use Oakliegh Driveways as they offered good value for money. As you can see from the photos needed a good revamp (a bigger driveway). Alex and Dean listened to our requests and needs and came up with some great suggestions which were also incorporated. They reused our old stones from the original brick wall to rebuild a new one up and around the new drive. Shaun, Lennon and Elliot did a great job. Kept the tea going (white and 2 sugars) and they kept going. We were very impressed with the workmanship and politeness of the team and would highly recommend them to anyone. We have had lots of people comment on the driveway on a very good job done.

Alex and the team were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The work carried out is of a high standard and i am pleased with the outcome. I would use the company again.

Alex and the lads did my drive and back they responsive and work really hard got the work done when they said it will be done thanks again Alex and the team

I first sent an enquiry email to Oakleigh and the following day I had a phone call from Eric ,who inturn sent around Dean who measured the area and worked out a price straight away.Dean then explained in detail what we would get for the money and we agreed and placed the order on Oakleigh. With in a few days his workforce arrived ,Shawn and Lennon along with Dean who introduced us to his guys, they were polite and very well mannered. They started work straight away and as the day went on the professionalism was very clear, nothing was to much trouble for either of these two guys.At the end of each day they cleaned up and then gave us an update for the next day, this carried on until the job was completed.on the last day we had a full crew of five to finish off, this driveway has caused quite a lot of interest from people walking by to which I tell them they were faultless in every way .Well done great job .Pete and Marlene Gettliffe

Very happy with work carried out. Excellent quality and value . Team arrived punctually and worked very hard. Would definitely recommend. Thanks to all involved .

Competitive price, turned up when they said they would. Any additional work was accommodated without any hassle. The guys on the job were great, worked hard and completed a quality job. i'd highly recommend Oakleigh Driveways.

Dean and his team have done a brilliant job on our new driveway we are really pleased with it.

Can’t say enough good things about this team! What a transformation! Approx 400m2 size - drive, fences, stunning wall and pillars, the lads attention to detail is absolutely spot on! Thanks to everyone involved!

These guys have just completed our driveway and we are so pleased with the end result. Our driveway is very large, over 400 square meters, so we were very careful to choose the correct contractors to complete our house renovation. The guys worked from 08:00 until 17:00 without any long lunch or coffee breaks (but they are partial to the odd milky coffee) and completed the job in 2 weeks. They were meticulous with every aspect of the job and I could them one morning taking down a wall they had built the previous day because they weren’t happy with how it looked. During the job they were happy to discuss ideas and overcome unforeseen problems with creative ideas and suggestions. As I said at the start, we could not have been happier with how our driveway has been completed and how it now looks. It has totally transformed our property. Thank you guys, you’ve all done a great job.

Dean and his team have done a excellent job very professional and worked through the pouring rain and two occasion, highly recommend and very good prices. TOP JOB

I have just had my drive tarmaced by Oakleigh Driverways . They made an excellent job, worked hard and l left everything neat and tidy. I would recommend them for this type of work.

Alex, Dean and Team did a great job on our driveway. Very professional job. Quick and tidy. Highly recommend this company. Very polite and professional.

We asked Alex to look at the drive for us, he was professional and did a great job on time with everything left clean and tidy throughout, thoroughly recommended.

Alex and the team transformed our dark, mossy front garden to an excellent bricked driveway, complete with bullnose edging along semi-circular and arced planting areas, finished off with topsoil ready for planting. They worked like trojans to get it completed on time, one guy worked until 9pm one evening, being bitten to death by midges but still soldiered on. There were a couple of changes to the original design, which they accommodated with no issues at all. I recommend them highly, and I'm happy to be contacted as a reference for them.

I had 6 people round to quote for my driveway and Alex was by far the most enthusiastic, interested and creative out of the lot. His crew started on the date promised and they were completed as planned. They were as friendly as they were skilled and I am over the moon with the results. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We have just had our driveway and drop kerb completed. We are extremely happy with how it has transformed the front of our house. All the team are very polite and hard working and nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be recommending oakleigh driveways. Thank you to Alex and the team

Alex and his team did an excellent job with our tarmac drive. Nothing was a problem. The team were extremely hard working and got the job done efficiently. They were extremely polite. I would highly recommend them.

Extremely pleased with our experience with Oakleigh Driveways. Alex and his team are very professional and deliver an excellent service. They listen and accommodate to your requirements and really help bring your ideas to life as they clearly have many years experience in the trade and know what will or won’t work. We had the pleasure of having Shaun, Dean, Elliot and Leonard and couldn’t have wished for a nicer bunch. Shaun was with us for the duration of the week, working all hours to achieve the end result. The team left the property clean and tidy every day, nothing was too much trouble! I would highly recommend Oakleigh driveways to anyone and if anyone would like to see their work at ours (tarmac and block mix) please feel free to ask for our address from Alex. Top job and thanks to all the team - Mr&Mrs Jones

Driveway looks amazing, a lot of hard work was put in by Dean and Sean. Finished off to a high standard and neighbors have commented on how great it looks and what a difference its now made compared to how it was. Thanks guys for us finally able to put all 3 cars on the drive

Really hard working team did a fantastic job transforming my old concrete garden and driveway into a lovely new garden with patios and lawn and a smart, spacious driveway. Everything was done very thoroughly with high quality materials throughout. I've already had compliments from the neighbours! I'm very happy with the results 😊.

Verry nice driveway and matching patio, the best in the neighbourhood I'm sure.

Really happy with our driveway. The lads did a really good job and worked quickly and to a high standard. Also added a separating fence to our neighbours garden. Would highly recommend ☺

I would definitely highly recommend oakleigh driveways. They did an excellent job of my driveway, clearing away my front garden but ensuring I still had a safe path to get into my house. For the short time that it took to blockpave my drive, they kept everywhere tidy at the end of the day. I am so pleased with the end product and the price was excellent and couldn't be beaten. I have recommended them to everyone I know and a few family members are now getting their driveways done with them.
