Fantastic work by Liam and the team, totally transformed the front of our house with a beautiful new resin driveway, professional from start to finish, I would highly recommend Designer Drives and Patios, plus a very good price.

Be very careful before employing this firm - they will promise the earth and actually deliver a very poor service. If you do decide to hire them, do not pay all the money until job completed to your satisfaction and please do not rely on promises - they mean nothing to them. They left my job unfinished and then all communication was cut off. They made a terrible mess of my immediate neighbours' drives by walking cement over their block paving front. They even appologised to my neighbours and promised to put it right - vanished and that was that. They promise to create a small garden at the top of the drive for flowers - they were supposed to dig it to a depth of 14" - what they did was to dig enough for daisies to grow and left masses of cement in the hole from where they had put some edging bricks. They had also removed slate which I told them I was keeping for back garden - lie after lie was told - they are so good at that. They then told me they were safe in their yard. I kept on until eventually they turned up with 4 brand new bags of slate which was smaller than the ones they took away, they had lied for weeks . My whole business relationship with them was a disaster - think carefully before hiring.

Liam and his team have done a fantastic job of installing a new Resin driveway and new turf at my Mum’s home. We were originally planning a time frame later in June, but we were very lucky as the team at Designer Drives & Patios had availability last week to install the new driveway, in less than a week after we agreed their original quote. Not complaining, take advantage of the good Weather we hardly get these days and enjoy our new driveway sooner. This is a good reliable team and I will definitely use them again in the future, as I work in the property development myself and I have other homes that need new driveways too. Many neighbours and people passing by have notice my Mum’s new driveway literally within hours after it was fully finished, asking it looks great and who did it. I will have no hesitation in providing Designer Drives & Patios contact details for assistance. Please use them and you will not be disappointed. I recently had my driveway/garden completed, I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. The team took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. They kept disruption to a minimum and made sure everything was cleaned up properly at the end of each day. From start to finish the team from Designer Drives and Patios were first class, couldn't fault them. The resin job they have done on our front steps and patio has completely transformed the front area of our house. Liam, Jim, John and Scooby were superb, nothing was too much. In just over a week, I now have a brand new resin driveway, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The quality is excellent, the price was very reasonable, and the final result looks fantastic. Many thanks for a great job.

Designer laid our new drive and turf w/c 25 August and left 27 August having not finished the work. As shown by the photos, they have not sorted out render, installed a drain guard or taken away their rubbish. Despite repeated requests being made to Designer, they have not turned up to finish the work. I have been fair in giving them over 6 weeks to come back and finish the work, so I have now been left with no option but to leave this review. We paid for the work on 27 August, immediately after being requested to do so on the understanding they needed to “pay for the materials” and would finish the work shortly after. This was clearly a lie and we are now out of pocked for work that has not been carried out. Very disappointing, and it is a shame to be giving a 3-star review. The work they have carried out has been fantastic, but all of that has been undone by their inability to complete the work, despite us having paid for it.

I had a comprehensive quote, Liam went through all options and explained timelines, the team turned up on time and worked throughout extremely professionally, little mess, limited disruption and the end result outstanding, it is great to know there are still good tradesmen out that give us customers the confidence of getting an amazing service for a fair price, I am now looking forward to having more work done by Designer Drives.

5 star experience from start to finish! Liam and his team were extremely professional and did not stop until my driveway was completed. The communication between myself and Liam was impeccable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. My driveway was everything I was hoping for and more.

Was great at first. Very prompt in coming out and answering questions etc. Seemed to know what he was talking about. Once paperwork was signed in June, contact pretty much stopped. I had to chase and chase and today (two months later) got fed up and I am know looking for someone else to do the work. Work is probably great if he actually bothers to do the work.

Please be cautious before accepting work from this company. My experience has been very negative and I do not recommend this company. The owner, of Designer Drives and Patios Limited came across as trustworthy at first. The work carried out did not match what was written in the agreement, for example, the border around the resin was never done and I was charged for it in the quote and the workers did not show skills , nor care, they left resin incomplete and dirty patio and road. When I contacted Designer Drives and Patios Limited about this, they stopped answering my calls, which is pretty uncaring! I was originally told I could pay two weeks after the work was finished, but that turned out not to be true. The owner asked for full payment on same day that they finished and I paid in full despite the work being incomplete because I trusted this company and as resin was still wet, I could not walk over to check it. After paying, I asked for a receipt or invoice, but was told only a quote would be provided. According with Trading Standards the owner failed to deliver invoice and I wonder why he refused. The service I received was not delivered with reasonable care and skill. I am writing this review to warn others based on my personal experience.

My father in law wanted a resin drive, found these guys on line, checked the reviews, which are all positive. Spoke to Sean who came out the same day to measure up and provide a quote. Father in law was happy with the price so gave them the go ahead. These guys don’t hang around, they just get on with the job, they were very respectful of the property & to my father in law. When they finished they cleared the area of any debris & mess. The resin as totally transformed the look of the drive, excellent job, quality finish, would highly recommend this company, thank you Sean , John & Liam and the rest of the crew.

1st class service , Liam was very help from start to finish all ways on the end of the phone for question and guidance. The lads worked there socks off on a very tricky old concrete drive that was very thick, but got into it and got it all up. As soon as the concrete was up with an hour it was removed from site and new stuff was being dropped off and then everything just followed flawlessly getting to the end results my new resin drive and front steps ! I am over the moon with them and to be fair I can’t fault the price. 100% if you looking for a new resin drive give them a shout Cheers to all the lads 👍 for a top job

For months I was planning to improve the front of my property, considering all options to install a new extended driveway. I decided to go with a new resin driveway so I could incorporate a design and colours to complement the front of my property. I had five quotes from various local companies ranging from too cheap to too expensive. The last quote I had was from Liam at Designer Drives. The quote was mid range compared to all the others I had 👌 They also included a new planter wall and a small bit of rendering in their quote. I knew they had installed a few driveways in the area so I checked these out before making my decision. After some good feedback I placed my order to install 85m2 of resin with a perimeter boarder. The guys turned up on time, worked like trojans, and completed the work in great time without any delays or dramas. I was very impressed with the quality of their performance and the products they used. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend Designer Drives, I couldn’t fault them. Andy

Just had a drive and block paved by a team of men who work for designer drives. I was so impressed with their work that I asked for a quote for a resin path at rear of my property. I had price on Monday which I was happy with and they finished my drive and laid the resin in Tuesday. Really pleased with the work done by Liam and his crew (resin driveway, resin patio, artificial grass). They worked so hard. Good communication from start to finish. We had a few delays due to the weather but this can't be helped. Had a couple of issues and queries along the way but Liam always responded quickly and with courtesy and explained the whole process from start to finish. Can't wait to enjoy the garden this summer! Update. Still happy with the work completed however we were promised a receipt and proof of guarantee via email within 15 minutes of payment and a follow up copy by post. 4 weeks later and we have received neither. Have attempted to contact them numerous times but have been ignored. They have also failed to collect their advertising sign.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Liam explained the work to be carried out and give us samples of the resin and where it was sourced from so we could research the quality. There was no pressure from him and the price was very competitive. Charlie and Jim worked hard and done a fantastic job on completing the resin driveway. What impressed me the most was the owner of designer driveways attended site a number of times to check on the work. His attention to detail showed how much pride he takes in the quality of the work his team puts in. This showed in the finished result and our driveway looks amazing. All I have to say is WOW. From start to finish the team were amazing, they explained everything thoroughly and advised me step by step. No question was to big or small. The team completed my front drive and back garden. Both large jobs. They always arrived on time and were so polite , they did not ask for any money upfront and they told me not to pay until I was completely happy & stuck to this. They removed every bit of rubbish and cleared up as they went along . They have completely reassured me on my judgement of tradesmen and I can honestly say I will recommend them to anyone. Very poor from start to finish. The block drive as sunk didn’t even last a week also lots of the bricks have cracked tried ringing company many times but will not come back. It will now cost £1000s to rectify.

Thought long and hard about resin driveway but within a week of saying ‘yes’ it was all completed and we love it! When they say “it’ll be grand” they aren’t exaggerating and I’ll leave the photos to show what I mean. They work tirelessly and with high level of skill. Would recommend to anyone.

Did a great job on the tarmac driveway - pleased with the end result.

We have just had our patio and garden fence done by Tom, Gary and the team. They did an excellent job and transformed our garden. The guys worked solidly and to a high standard for the last 5 days to get the job done. They also cleaned up and took all the rubbish from the job away. We are very happy with the end result.

Tom communicated well with us when initially organising our new patio installation and listened to our wants and needs. We agreed on a very competitive price and the what works were to be done and a few weeks later he and others turned up to start the work in a few days time. There were a few changes made during the job (like all jobs when you get into the weeds of the work), and some extra work done which we had agreed too as it would give an even better end result - but that work wasn’t in the original contract. Both us and Tom probably should have got this extra work added to the original contract in hindsight. The team worked really hard, and delivered a good finish, even with these small changes that had to be made. The end of the work was complicated a little bit by the extra work which was outside the original contract, which meant for some discussions between the team and myself to iron out a few things. But both sides were able to come to an agreement and shake hands on a job well done. We’re looking forward to spending time out on our new patio now, and having an area where the kids can kick a ball about and play. The team works hard, and they deliver a good finish; but make sure you go through everything in detail for both yours and theirs sake. Michael

Same day response, visit and quote to my web enquiry. This was followed by a 2 week lead time being given, that was exactly adhered to. The patio was completed in 3 days, and this included an awful lot of digging out. We are delighted with the result and happy to recommend Designer Drives.

Happy with my driveway and patio. The boys worked really hard. Tom is a man of his word and gets the job done. I would recommend these, they have done half the neighbourhood!

Having had dealings with company then I would be wary of using them for any work. Yes they are quick , but need very careful management . They “forget” to include items in the paper they get you to sign and then say it was never part of the job. Had to get them to redo some elements which were quick frankly appalling standard of works. On completion they then demanded money instantly and would not be leaving property until they were paid. Also , claim not to be VAT registered which I find amazing for a company doing multiple jobs per week at a few thousand pound per time

Needed to have a drive done at the back of my house, seen that they've done over 40 drives in my area and quality looked good. As they were very busy I though it would be a while but within a few weeks they turned up after getting a quote and done the whole drive in 4-5 hrs (5x3m2). Overall very happy with the work A*

This firm had were already doing 2 houses up my street in Cardiff when Uncle Shaun knocked my door and explained while they had all the gear on hand they could do me a new block paved drive for an affordable price. We shook hands on a deal and the work started 10 minutes later on 10th Jan 2022. Three good solid days later the job is finished and paid for . Tom & Jeff were both happy and so was I . All the mess was taken away as agreed - couldn't fault the finished job - These guys know what they're doing.
