Prompt response from an emergency call. Gavin arrived 7am the next morning. A total of 7 toilets blocked and overflowing the previous day. He was done within the hour. Did not leave me stranded helped to clean up so I was all sorted begre my customers arrived. Absolutely superb!!!!

We use Westway for our Estate Maintenance. Whenever there is a problem with anything...drains, taps, gates, posts etc, Gavin sorts it out! He is always polite and efficient and reasonably charged. We would highly recommend.

Excellent work was carried out in my home yesterday, I had a problem in my bathroom, a blockage in the toilet. The plumber fixed this so efficiently and quickly, very impressive service, as I had only called in the morning. I can highly recommend this company

Appalling service. Requested two things: confirmation that the drains are the source of our rat issue and a survey with images and a report. They could not confirm the rat issue, and the report was about 6 lines long in broken English, and pictures of the drains were illegible because someone had taken a picture of the monitor on their phone. When I followed up they responded with more broken English and answered none of our questions. Do not use.

We had the 2 lads from Westway arrive in St Albans after travelling from Croydon at 0830 and work right through till 1830 today without stopping. They were courteous and considerate, clearing up afterwards and ensuring that everything was tidied up after the day. Would absolutely recommend

Used Westway Drainage to renew our ground floor toilet, great communication from the office, excellent service from the plumber, it wasn't straightforward, but did a great job.

Luke the electrician turned up within the time slot. Very mindful of property when coming in with all the tools and ladder. Replaced two faulty extractor fans in the bathroom, tidied up after the job, hoovered everywhere and left the bathroom clean . Before he left he showed me what had been done and answered any questions. I used the extractor fans today. The bathroom was dry within hours. Brilliant job done by Luke, who is also very friendly and polite. Thank you

We arranged for them to unblock our sink. It was still blocked so they came back the next day and even after they left again it still was slow draining. Called them back and they said we would need to either pay again for them to come back or pay an increased fee for something else to fix it. We didn't have much faith they could do it so got a different company who identified and fixed the issue. Waste of money unfortunately.

Having had 2 different companies come out and look at the problem with our drain and still being none the wiser what is causing it , Westway Drainage came out , used a camera and have found the problem straight away . We look forward to Mark from Westway finally fixing the problem.

Gavin & Westway were recommended to us by another very trusted tradesman we’ve used before, and we feel very lucky to have worked with them! A really lovely group of guys who went above and beyond to help with our various drainage problems (starting with a lead underground pipe replacement and ACO drain). When you speak to Gavin it’s very evident he knows exactly what he’s doing, and he offered advice and guidance not just on the job we booked them for but in general on how to manage our property and make it water tight. We’ve already booked a next project with Westway and are awaiting quotes for a lot more as we know we’re in safe hands!

Great experience with Westway. Had my boiler fail on a cold January day and the team managed to fit me a new one within 3 days and on a Sunday. The engineer Tom that came was lovely, polite and explained everything very clearly. I had 3 quotes for the same job and they all came in the same so happy with the value. It was seamless communication throughout and I would recommend them to anyone.

Had a drain issue called Westway Drainage. From the initial call speaking to vicky, and Mark attending within a few hours, the service has been fantastic. Mark went out of his way to resolve the blockage, great guy, professional from start to finish. Will be using them again for a survey, and keeping there number for future work.

My drain serving my kitchen was blocked. My insurance company recommended and sent out a drainage company, the contractor didn't manage to lift the small drain cover to clear the blockage. However, they then sent Gavin from Westway Drainage. Gavin managed to lift the small drain cover in a couple of seconds and cleared the blockage, washed through the drain, conducted a CCTV survey. And left my rear garden clean and tidy. He was also very polite and professional. Should I have any drain problems in the future. My first point of contact would most certainly be Westway Drainage. As a Chartered Environmental Health Officer, of over 30 years I use to respond and attend drainage complaints, with council drainage teams, and so am aware of what jobs entail. Westway and Gavin both met and exceeded all expectations including customer service. standards. 😊

We found an urgent leak a day before going away on holiday. They were able to get someone out to us within a couple of hours who identified the problem, found a second leak and fixed both of them. The price was really reasonable, couldn't have been happier with the service.

I would not hesitate to book Westway in. Gavin came round as soon as I put the receiver down and on a Saturday to check what I had as a drainage problem up teen others had seen and given me bad advice over and solutions for. He told me what his team could do to fix it and they came on the Monday and Tuesday early to relocate my toilet stack and tidy up some very bad piping runs outside the wall to my garden. I'd been living with this problem for 7 years and it was dealt with so effectively and to a high standard. I couldn't believe the relief I felt when it had all been redone for me. Top team, top guys and top job.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Paul came by the same day to deal with a leak we had in our garden room. He walked me through what he was doing and showed me how I could isolate the water supply if needed in the future. I would 100% recommend Westway. Westway will definitely be my go to for any future plumbing or drainage issues.

We had both our bathrooms done by Westway Drainage and were very pleased with the result. Richard and Connor worked hard and were done within 4 weeks. An unexpected leak in the water tank created stress and unwelcome disruption! Westway Drainage sent a plumber within 30 minutes and Paul sorted the issue out in no time. He also explained the problem, showed how he rectified and answered all my questions. This is the second time I've used Westway Drainage and they have been excellent on both occasions. Westway have carried out repairs snd investigation at my property recently. There have been ongoing issues which were not easy to deal with but the team were always helpful, showing me in detail what was wrong and how they were to resolve it with no hidden costs; always up front regarding costs and telling it how it is. In particular, I'd like to give Paul a mention who worked hard all day to make good tiles and flooring in the bathroom and make it safe and sanitary until finished work can be done. All clearing up done efficiently too. I would always recommend this trustworthy team.

Cleared the drains and explained what caused the issue along with showing live CCTV pictures of the issue plus made recommendations for future work to prevent this issue happening again. I cannot fault the service I received from Westway Drainage. I called up, prices discussed, a booking email sent and they came out on the same day. Two very friendly, knowledgeable and polite men came to fix the issue. A follow up email with the invoice, an explanation of the works and many photos was then sent. From first contact to completion of the job, Westway were brilliant. I appreciated the reminder message 24 hours beforehand. The workman arrived when he said he would and was very focussed on what was required. It was a nasty job involving the soil pipe and he was unfazed and all work was completed within 20 minutes.He showed me the finished job and explained what he had done. If only all trades were like this. I hope I don’t need Westway again but they would be my first stop if I have another drainage issue.

I noticed slow drainage at home, so gave them a call and got an appointment for a few hours later. On arrival the blockage was quickly identified and subsequently cleared within 30 minutes, and confirmed everything is now draining properly again from the house. A very efficient service from start to finish, pricing was clearly outlined, and on this occasion we did not need a second hour, would be happy to use them again and would recommend them to others

Fabulous service! Had 4 radiators needing to be changed (2 from horizontal to vertical) very prompt communication and availability to come and fit. Gavin and his team renovated our shower room which had mould, no hot water to the sink and was very outdated. I texted Gavin on Monday evening at 8.20pm with an urgent request to unblock a toilet. On the next morning; Tuesday at 9.15am, Gavin was outside my house ready to fix my issue, having communicated with me in the morning his estimated time of arrival. After a classic mistake with a cowboy builder I had a fair bit of dodgy plumbing that needed attending to, and I'm so glad I found Westway to do it. The team (Drew, Gavin, Mark and others, as well as their very helpful office management team) have always been great - responsive, efficient, clearly talk through the work they've done and always turn up on time! From replacing and reinstalling a faulty toilet and repainting, regrouting and resurfacing a countertop in one bathroom, to fully descaling all drainpipes and fixing the entire plumbing and drainage network in a newly installed WC (including adding an external air vent pipe), they really can handle everything - with attention to detail and care - and I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely nothing but praise. Our 93 year old family friend has just left hospital from major heart surgery, only to return to a blocked sewer. Within an hour of calling, Gavin was there and sorted the problem. Mark and Matt (drainage team) and Ricky (plumbing team) have been excellent and very trustworthy. The company have an excellent management team who have scheduled in the work efficiently. Main tasks involved installing Aco drains, re-engineering the drainage set-up and relining the waste pipes from the washing machine to the manhole. These are big jobs and the team handled them perfectly. The Westway Drainage team have inspired a lot of confidence by way of the high level of competence they have demonstrated and especially from the perspective of resourcing the right specialty professionals for each section of the job (rather than a ‘Jack of all trades approach’ which can lead to problems later down the line. You are dealing with trades professionals who can do well what they say they can. I would definitely use them again.

I called Westway Drainage and they were able to come within an hour -that was excellent as l was calling in the afternoon hours and was worried nobody would be available. I had a new drain fitted in my garden by Westway Drainage Ltd on 3rd January 2025. The level of service from start to finish was excellent. Problem identified by them on first visit towards end of December, full works carried out very promptly after. The team were very knowledgeable, professional & respectful ensuring work carried out with minimum disruption. The quality of work was excellent, leaving everywhere clean & tidy after. I highly recommend this company if you have a Drainage problem.

Amazing! Really responsive, professional and friendly service. Called the team out to a severely blocked drain and was offered an appointment the next morning. I was given lots of advice on the state of the drain, and what was needed to replace the collapsing section. Definitely recommend!

Gavin came out at very short notice after I saw lots of positive reviews online. He responded to an emergency message late at night after we had a big leak. He arrived first thing in the morning (on a Sunday at Christmas no less) after fantastic communication; and very quickly resolved a tricky problem. Gavin didn’t once complain despite dealing with very difficult surroundings making access tricky to say the least! He was up and down in our loft and worked quickly and efficiently. My four year old was so impressed she even made him a Christmas card- and she isn’t easily impressed! What a top bloke. Communication excellent, work was efficient and thanks to Gavin our Christmas has been rescued! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone, and will be using Westway for a new boiler fitting. So glad I found this number!

We required event assistance on a Saturday for a leaking toilet. I left a message through their website and within an hour I got a text. It was so quick to schedule an appointment that an engineer was out within an hour. They promptly fixed the problem and gave us advice on what to do to prevent it happening again. We have used their services before and today has only further shown me that this is a fantastic company.

We had a terrible odour in the kitchen, main bathroom and were unable to find the source. Someone suggested we needed a drainage company. Westway Drainage were recommended so I gave them a call. Gavin came to do a site survey and it was recommended we have a full clean of all waste pipework, traps internally, and also the external drainage. Which we went ahead with. Mark came to carry out the actual work and was here for a number of hours working hard. The smell did seem to go but lingered a bit but we were told it would need to settle. Less than a week later and no smell whatsoever!! Such a relief!! Even better that it was resolved in one visit and we didn’t have to start ripping things out. This also might seem like a small thing but we didn’t need to ask Gavin or Mark to take their shoes off, they just did every time they entered the property. Gavin, Mark and the office were efficient, professional polite and courteous from start to finish.

I can't recommend these guys enough. If anyone has any drainage issues or anything related to household repairs Westway Drainage LTD are the people to call. I must say I was dubious with dealing with any tradesmen because of some of the horror stories your hear. But from the first telephone conversation with Vicky you'll know your in the right place and your mind put at rest. Vicky fully understood our situation and was very polite and honest even sent Gavin around on there way out to Godstone Farm fireworks to assess the job and even sent me an estimate while they were at the fireworks. It's not that often you get honest and reliable tradesman that go above and beyond that keep you updated via email and turn up when they say they will, but these guys are outstanding.

Gavin came to do a camera survey, which he had no plans on doing. Made an excuse he couldn’t access the pipe, I could have gained access in 3 minutes. Then sent a call out charge for £114!!!! Do not book an appointment unless you want to be stung with a call out charge for no work.

Westway arrived at our property to sort out a leaking pipe. They attended in good time and dealt with the problem swiftly. Unfortunately there was a related issue belonging to Thames Water because the stopcock on the meter in the street had seized shut and the water could not be turned back on. Westway were quick to call it in as an emergency with Thames and drop a crate of water to us in the meantime. Thames weren’t the most helpful in getting it sorted but Westway helped as much as they could to move things along by contacting themselves and kept checking back with us until resolved. They even offered to tap off another pipe if the issue wasn’t resolved but fortunately we didn’t have to do that. Westway went above and beyond to do everything they could even though it was another companies issue.

Great service. I contacted Westway drains on a Monday evening. They arranged to come out the next afternoon. One of my outside drains wasn't emptying properly. Gavin fixed that problem and at the same time I asked him to check my other drains. Really impressed with the level of service and efficiency. I will be using them and would recommend.

I can't speak highly enough of Westway Drainage! After seeing several recommendations on Facebook, I decided to give them a call regarding what we initially thought was just a blocked sink. To our surprise, Gavin and his team discovered a much larger issue—a blockage in the sub stack. The team and Westway Drainage went above and beyond to help with a sewage pipe that was blocked due to a tenant's misuse. After initially coming to fix a (very) blocked drain we had further discussions with Gavin about our tired old bathroom and behold a short while later gone is the dated bath and plastic shower curtain and in its place we have a modern and swanky walk in shower.
