Cornwall Drains Ltd

Great service - would recommend! I called Gary & within half an hour Chris arrived & unblocked our drains in about 30 mins. Chris was really nice & provided us with some good advice on our drains set up. Price was reasonable as we did look around before deciding to call Gary. Thank you

Sincere thanks for a quick and efficient clearance of a blocked up surface water gully at the front of my property. Hopefully the never ending deluge of rain will now soak away as it should instead of trying to create a new reservoir!

I cannot speak more highly of this company. I called at 9pm on a Sunday and they arrived at 1:15pm the next day. They were incredible at communicating and updating us on their arrival (as they had other jobs beforehand) and the gentleman who turned up was incredibly polite and professional. I am so grateful for the service they provided- we will only use them again the future (but secretly hope we don’t have to experience a blocked sewage pipe again!)

'No fuss' and 'can do' - responded quickly, and a courteous and efficient service. We will certainly use them again, and the price is reasonable too!

Gary was unbelievably helpful. I was about to exchange contracts on a house when I got concerns about potential drainage issues. Gary gave me really great advice, even on the phone. He went out of his way to help me at short notice. With his guidance I pulled out of what would have been a horrible purchase. I'm very grateful and would strongly recommend.

Simon was with me in 1 1/2 hours after calling. Really professional, made the mysteries of fat in a bottle gulley look easy. Cleared the pipes, washed down and it was all done in less than an hour. Thanks Simon really great job. Price? I thought it was pretty reasonable all things considered. That worry is a load off my mind. Thanks again.

Excellent service, quick call out job done quickly and expertly, would highly recommend Cornwall Drains Thank you

Excellent company. Super quick to respond. Did a great job of cleaning out pipes full of sand. Lovely lads and tidied up after themselves. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend,

Excellent service, so reliable and efficient, Gary has been very helpful, it's not often nowadays that a company go above and beyond but Cornwall Drains did exactly that, thank you.

Very impressed by this company - I called them on a Sunday afternoon about a blocked toilet and overflowing drain and they turned up on Monday morning. The problem was sorted (and the cause identified) within 20 minutes of their arrival. Fast, efficient and friendly service for a reasonable price. That's all most of us want from our tradespeople but these qualities seem so elusive these days!

Fast response Chris and Simon was great 10 out of 10

Called them at around 12pm today, after discovering that we had a new "swimming pool" in the back garden. They came out within the hour and sorted drainage problem out really quickly. Recommended - thanks!

We've used Cornwall Drains Ltd several times now, and they have always provided a professional and friendly service. Their team is reliable, efficient, and always go the extra mile to get the job done properly. Whether it's an emergency call-out or routine maintenance, they’ve been quick to respond and highly knowledgeable. It's great to have a local company you can trust, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing drainage services in Cornwall. Thanks again for your excellent service!

Arrived quickly, worked efficiently, and got the problem solved. Really pleased. Thank you :)

Highly recommend this company. Oliver came out to unblock a drain caused by sand (due to regular bathing of my dog), the access to the drain was very tricky but this was not an issue to Oliver. Demonstrating a friendly ‘can-do’ attitude and in less than an hour he had cleared the drain. Excellent service. Thank you.

Super friendly, helpful and effective. I definitely recommend Cornwall Drains.

I had a blockage in the inlet to my septic tank. I rang Cornwall Drains, at 11am and by 2.30pm Chris had solved the problem, and explained the issue politely and efficiently. Full marks to Chris and Cornwall Drains.

I was having problems with a blocked drain, and phoned them. The driver arrived the same day, after phoning me en route to give time of arrival and summary of the fees, depending on the nature of the problem. It turned out to be not straightforward, but he dealt with it quickly and efficiently. The bill was very reasonable. I definitely recommend them.

Gary was so helpful and really went above and beyond for us. Very professional, and would definitely recommend.

Excellent professional service very prompt just got on with job

Excellent. Very much not an obvious fix but the ingenious Chris solved the problem for us. Also a really quick response. Would definitely recommend.

Did a fantastic job for me last year and no problems since then. Straight forward, honest and reliable service. Thank you.

Gary turned up when he said he would and sorted out the blocked drain quickly and effectively. I highly recommend Cornwall Drains.

Fast efficient service, fixed my drainage problems in less than half an hour, when I had been struggling without success for 2 days. They have the equipment and knowledge.

Excellent, arrived when they said they would and fitted me in within a day. Did the job quickly and efficiently, well mannered and friendly. Really efficient and obviously very experienced - no problems with the job.

Very professional did the job straight away no problem

Arrived within the hour to unblock a WC discharge. Completed the work quickly and efficiently. An excellent very professional service many thanks Oliver, much appreciated. Highly recommended!

We used Cornwall Drains to carry out work on our drains, as the sewerage pipes on our property were collapsing and blistering. Gary from Cornwall Drains was very helpful and professional from start to finish of the job, checking out the problem and giving us a full report. Pete who carried out the work, through difficult circumstances and really cold conditions, was a real trooper, working professionally and continually to ensure the work was completed with as little disruption to us as possible, and the job was a lot of work and access was not easy. Pete’s work standard is exemplary. On our experience of Cornwall Drains, I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Gary and team are consistently excellent, friendly and reliable. They know their stuff, stick to their budgets and always try to help every when to busy and you need assistance. Couldn’t recommend more!

Foul drain backed up - these guys answered immediately (not an answerphone) and within the hour Oliver had arrived. REALLY thorough, checking everything out before doing any rodding. I couldn't have asked for a more comprehensive assessment - everything was backed up due to a problem with the main drain. No fuss or messing about but explained everything clearly during and after the process. Maybe not the cheapest but this wasn't a quick and simple job for the fixed price. Oliver had a camera on board so the pipe was checked afterwards too. Happy to recommend based on this experience. Thanks!

very quick response, jetted my blocked drain and checked condition with a camera, these guys no exactly what they are doing. top service. thanks

Having to make an emergency call on Sunday for a blocked drain, we were very impressed with the service we received. Speedy response and an all round great guy. Highly recommended.

Gary is very knowledgeable and thorough. Professional, helpful and very efficient, he had all kinds of equipment with him to solve problems quickly and with no hesitation. Cleaned up everywhere that needed it, and is very informative too. Recommended to anyone,

Fantastic friendly helpful service. Came same day & cleared my drain.

Friendly, helpful and came out within an hour. Got the job done quickly. Would recommend to anyone needing drains unblocked. Thanks Chris for sorting the problem so quickly!

Professional, stunningly quick and efficient. Problem sorted within an hour of calling, everything was left clean as a whistle and with zero fuss.

Thanks to Cornwall Drains for great service on a really horrible day. They were quick to come out even to a non emergency and the job was done quickly, cleanly and efficiently. Brilliant service and I highly recommend them.

First class service! Had an emergency drain situation quite late in the day but it was no problem to get to me before an over night with no loo panic set in. The drains were sorted quickly and profesionally and with a smile. Very happy customer, and will be calling again if (or when!) the need arises with our antiquated system.

I would highly recommend this company. The work was expertly carried out. I was particularly impressed with the care that was taken and how well everything was cleaned and tidied up afterwards. Many thanks

Excellent service. Huge relief to find someone as reliable and helpful.

Brilliant company and do an amazing job, highly recommend

Cornwall Drains was excellent..they responded really quickly, found the problem and fixed it in one visit. very satisfied!! thanks

Spoke to Gary at Cornwall Drains who came on the day we contacted him and advised us what to do regarding an outside/inside toilet that he could not access easily. Once we had rectified this Gary came back, same day again as requested and unblocked the toilet and then took a video which we were then able to forward to South West Water for their information. Very happy with service and information that we were provided with.

Excellent service today. Drain was blocked and overflowing. Cornwall drains were out within the hour and it was a Sunday. Really professional service.

I was genuinely staggered at just how good Gary of Cornwall Drains is. I cannot recommend the company highly enough, I shall never ever use anybody else for any drainage problems. A very nice man indeed, incredibly efficient and with state of the art machinery, all very very impressive.

Called this man on saturday !Told him id had southwest water out & they told me the problem and said it was a private job !! So when i told cornwall drains and explained that it would need blasting e.c.t He then quoted me £70 plus vat and that it would be £110 So when they turned up & did the job ! He then put the bill up to £137 I called him & explained about our conversation on the saturday and he basically said i was lying !! Wont ever use them again wont recomend them and if you do ! Agree a price first so they cant just add on money and ripp you off !!

This company was very prompt and professional and kept us informed at all times. Their report was thorough and videos easy to watch.

Really quick to respond, even on a Sunday, efficiently solved the problem and v reasonable rates. Would heartily recommend them!

Absolutely first class service, arrived within an hour, called on way to confirm arrival, friendly, professional. Would highly recommend this company and would definitely use again. Excellent!!

An outstanding service that I would recommend to anyone. They provided a detailed estimate that explained exactly what they were going to do to solve our problem and how much it would cost. A two man team of professions arrived on the agreed date and completed the work to a very high standard, on time and to budget. No fuss no drama just good quality workmanship.

Our manhole was completely blocked with builders rubble which was backing up and flooding the house. Gary was onsite within 30 mins and spent 2 hours shifting the lot. Top professional and seriously the go to guy. Don't bother with anybody else.

I phoned Cornwall Drains Ltd about a blocked toilet drain. Within a couple of hours Jack arrived. Another two hours later I had been told of two more man holes that were unknown to me despite living in the property for over 25 years! Unfortunately one of them was underneath part of the drive and the blocked drain fed into it. Jack did not have the tools to dig up my drive, thus he phoned Gary. I agreed that I would clear the manhole and Jack would return at once after I phoned Gary that I had cleared access to the manhole. After clearing enough of the manhole to photograph the cover, I emailed Gary as I had never seen a manhole cover like this. Gary confirmed that I had found the manhole; I cleared it and Jack returned the next morning. Jack then discovered that I had another unknown manhole underneath my bathroom floor and it was slowly disintegrating. This coupled with the pitch blend waste pipe which had fallen slightly was causing the blockage. Jack quickly cleared the blocked drain and gave my wife and me some very useful tips and advice on what to do in the future. I was also given a CCTV record of all Jack's filming of the interior of my drains. All in all a very professional, prompt and polite service by Cornwall Drains Ltd.

Cornwall Drains have been absolutely fantastic. Amazingly quick to respond to calls and emails and first class work. A very professional outfit that i would not hesitate to use again and I highly recommend.

Rang on the Tuesday evening, out first thing on Wednesday. Price as said, very informative with actions going forward. Also very professional regarding Covid-19. 1st class work 👏

Absolutely brilliant. Arrived within the hour & Gary certainly knows his stuff!! Would definitely recommend to everyone!!! A***

Excellent Service. Called Cornwall Drains in the morning for a blocked drain and Ryan arrived early afternoon and cleared a very horrible drain. Wonderful service and Ryan was helpful, cheerful and explained all the process. Garden was left immaculately clean and the whole job was very reasonably priced. A horrible job made very easy by this company. Can not recommend enough :-)

Gary and his team, particularly Jack, have been brilliant throughout our house purchase in some very difficult circumstances. We were recommended Cornwall Drains to survey a house we were buying last year and Gary’s excellent advice saved us from making a very expensive mistake. When we found our next house we asked them for another survey and the results helped us to negotiate on the price. Once the house finally completed, in the middle of the pandemic, Gary agreed to fix the problems soon after completion and enable us to move into our home. I heartily recommend their services, both before and after buying a house.

Great service. Fast, efficient, and friendly. The turnaround from enquiry to fix was within 24 hours over the weekend. Communication was great throughout led by Gary. Jack turned up and was helpful, knowledgable and sorted out the problem providing great advice througout. He respected the property and cleaned up after himself. These guys are brilliant. Completely recommended.

Excellent service from cornwall drains. Called late in the evening and was out first thing the next day and got the problem sorted in no time at all. Would highly recommend!!!

Gary was fantastic. He came extremely quickly and solved are blocked drain problem. He was also very clean and cleared everything up. We thought Gary was very pleasant and reasonable and we would certainly use him again and recommend him and his team.

Had to call them out over the bank holiday weekend as we had a horribly blocked drain! 2 hours after calling the drains are all unblocked and working perfectly. Ryan was professional and friendly but also knew how to have a laugh and make light of the situation.very good, would use again.

Cornwall Drains are very professional and reliable. Everything is done by the book. I would recommend them.

I called Cornwall Drains late morning and by mid afternoon they were surveyed and cleared. Couldn't have asked for a better service! Many thanks to the team.

We had an ongoing issue with a sewage smell occasionally occurring in our kitchen which had been happening since we purchased the property. After getting Dyno-Rod and several local plumbers to inspect the drains we were no closer to resolving the problem. However, one short visit from Cornwall Drains (Jack) was all that was needed to determine and resolve the issue! I cannot praise them highly enough.

Very efficient first contact. Very polite, friendly and organised. Offered to send someone straight away or first thing next day. Discovered tree roots in drain, cleared and cleaned very professionally. Fair price, really helped us with a rather complicated house and drainage. Great to find a small, local company that does a brilliant job! Highly recommend

Emailed the company on Sunday evening, he was here 9am Monday morning, very friendly and professional, did a great job and gave extra help/details for contacting South West Water etc. Very happy to recommend.

I called to pressure clean my drain pipe drains because they were emptying slowly. They managed to fit me in the same day. They got on with the job quickly and efficiently (i.e. 1hr for 4 drains). They quickly found some issues with my soak aways that I probably wouldn't have done if I'd tried to do it myself and gave me some recommendations to rectify them. On finishing they rounded down the time they were with me for. Very happy with the service and would recommend them.

What an amazing service. Came out at 9pm for our blocked main drain and was very efficient and a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend and would have no hesitation in using for any drainage problems

Gary turned up within a couple of hours to fix my blocked drains. Did a very thorough job. Cleaned up afterwards leaving no trace of jetting debris...! Great service.

Relaible, cheerful, honest service. I would highly recommend this company.

Great service and all very straight forward - provides photographic evidence for your records as part of the service... Highly recommend.

Do not go anywhere else if you have a problem with drains. Just had Jack round here following blocked drains - quick, efficient and went well beyond the original problem to identify the actual issues and that they were SW Waters responsibility - this company is totally trustworthy - I do not hesitate to recommend them

Fast, efficient, helpful with a fixed price all over the Christmas break. Would certainly recommend

We had a significantly blocked drain. Gary was able to come on the same day and was personal, professional, informative, and got the job done quickly. He gave me plenty of useful advice moving forward and offers an array of other services I didn't know existed. I wouldn't hesitate to call him out again.

We had a complete blockage of the foul drain which could not be cleared by normal jetting. Gary and his team arrived very soon after being contacted. They quickly identified the position of the problem, returned the next day, excavated and installed a new length of pipe - all in atrocious weather. I cannot praise Gary and his team too highly. He is undoubtedly a top-level expert. What's more he really does want to help people - not just give them a bill ! Definitely the 'go-to' company. David Hall, Feock, Truro

Excellent service. Called on a Friday evening and Gary was at the door within an hour. Fantastic service thank you.

Gary will fix your drains, no matter what. He's just sorted out a particularly intractable problem at our place. It took time and cost money. But Gary knows what he's doing. He is very experienced and completely professional. If you're in Cornwall, don't waste time calling anyone else.
