Sincere thanks for a quick and efficient clearance of a blocked up surface water gully at the front of my property. Hopefully the never ending deluge of rain will now soak away as it should instead of trying to create a new reservoir!

I cannot speak more highly of this company. I called at 9pm on a Sunday and they arrived at 1:15pm the next day. They were incredible at communicating and updating us on their arrival (as they had other jobs beforehand) and the gentleman who turned up was incredibly polite and professional. I am so grateful for the service they provided- we will only use them again the future (but secretly hope we don’t have to experience a blocked sewage pipe again!)

Very impressed by this company - I called them on a Sunday afternoon about a blocked toilet and overflowing drain and they turned up on Monday morning. The problem was sorted (and the cause identified) within 20 minutes of their arrival. Fast, efficient and friendly service for a reasonable price. Highly recommend this company. Oliver came out to unblock a drain caused by sand (due to regular bathing of my dog), the access to the drain was very tricky but this was not an issue to Oliver. I had a blockage in the inlet to my septic tank. I rang Cornwall Drains, at 11am and by 2.30pm Chris had solved the problem, and explained the issue politely and efficiently. Full marks to Chris and Cornwall Drains.

I was having problems with a blocked drain, and phoned them. The driver arrived the same day, after phoning me en route to give time of arrival and summary of the fees, depending on the nature of the problem. It turned out to be not straightforward, but he dealt with it quickly and efficiently. The bill was very reasonable. I definitely recommend them.

We used Cornwall Drains to carry out work on our drains, as the sewerage pipes on our property were collapsing and blistering. Gary from Cornwall Drains was very helpful and professional from start to finish of the job, checking out the problem and giving us a full report. Pete who carried out the work, through difficult circumstances and really cold conditions, was a real trooper, working professionally and continually to ensure the work was completed with as little disruption to us as possible, and the job was a lot of work and access was not easy. Pete’s work standard is exemplary. On our experience of Cornwall Drains, I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Foul drain backed up - these guys answered immediately (not an answerphone) and within the hour Oliver had arrived. REALLY thorough, checking everything out before doing any rodding. I couldn't have asked for a more comprehensive assessment - everything was backed up due to a problem with the main drain. No fuss or messing about but explained everything clearly during and after the process. Maybe not the cheapest but this wasn't a quick and simple job for the fixed price. Spoke to Gary at Cornwall Drains who came on the day we contacted him and advised us what to do regarding an outside/inside toilet that he could not access easily. Once we had rectified this Gary came back, same day again as requested and unblocked the toilet and then took a video which we were then able to forward to South West Water for their information. Very happy with service and information that we were provided with.

I was genuinely staggered at just how good Gary of Cornwall Drains is. I cannot recommend the company highly enough, I shall never ever use anybody else for any drainage problems. A very nice man indeed, incredibly efficient and with state of the art machinery, all very very impressive.

Called this man on saturday !Told him id had southwest water out & they told me the problem and said it was a private job !! So when i told cornwall drains and explained that it would need blasting e.c.t He then quoted me £70 plus vat and that it would be £110 So when they turned up & did the job ! He then put the bill up to £137 I called him & explained about our conversation on the saturday and he basically said i was lying !! Wont ever use them again wont recomend them and if you do ! Agree a price first so they cant just add on money and ripp you off !!

An outstanding service that I would recommend to anyone. They provided a detailed estimate that explained exactly what they were going to do to solve our problem and how much it would cost. A two man team of professions arrived on the agreed date and completed the work to a very high standard, on time and to budget. No fuss no drama just good quality workmanship.

Our manhole was completely blocked with builders rubble which was backing up and flooding the house. Gary was onsite within 30 mins and spent 2 hours shifting the lot. Top professional and seriously the go to guy. Don't bother with anybody else.

I phoned Cornwall Drains Ltd about a blocked toilet drain. Within a couple of hours Jack arrived. Another two hours later I had been told of two more man holes that were unknown to me despite living in the property for over 25 years! Unfortunately one of them was underneath part of the drive and the blocked drain fed into it. Jack did not have the tools to dig up my drive, thus he phoned Gary. I agreed that I would clear the manhole and Jack would return at once after I phoned Gary that I had cleared access to the manhole. After clearing enough of the manhole to photograph the cover, I emailed Gary as I had never seen a manhole cover like this. Gary confirmed that I had found the manhole; I cleared it and Jack returned the next morning. Jack then discovered that I had another unknown manhole underneath my bathroom floor and it was slowly disintegrating. This coupled with the pitch blend waste pipe which had fallen slightly was causing the blockage. Jack quickly cleared the blocked drain and gave my wife and me some very useful tips and advice on what to do in the future. I was also given a CCTV record of all Jack's filming of the interior of my drains. All in all a very professional, prompt and polite service by Cornwall Drains Ltd.

We had an ongoing issue with a sewage smell occasionally occurring in our kitchen which had been happening since we purchased the property. After getting Dyno-Rod and several local plumbers to inspect the drains we were no closer to resolving the problem. However, one short visit from Cornwall Drains (Jack) was all that was needed to determine and resolve the issue! I cannot praise them highly enough.

I called to pressure clean my drain pipe drains because they were emptying slowly. They managed to fit me in the same day. They got on with the job quickly and efficiently (i.e. 1hr for 4 drains). They quickly found some issues with my soak aways that I probably wouldn't have done if I'd tried to do it myself and gave me some recommendations to rectify them. On finishing they rounded down the time they were with me for. Very happy with the service and would recommend them.

We had a complete blockage of the foul drain which could not be cleared by normal jetting. Gary and his team arrived very soon after being contacted.
