Outstanding service, advice and genuine care from Mark and the team at Phil’s Drainage Services. My mum recently had a serious drainage issue at her property and was understandably extremely distressed. From the very first phone call, Mark was honest, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Rather than simply attending and charging unnecessarily, he gave genuine advice about the likely cause of the problem and pointed us in the right direction first. Throughout the whole situation, both Mark and Carla kept checking in on mum, offering reassurance, support and guidance even whilst the issue was being dealt with elsewhere. Everything Mark advised turned out to be completely correct and his knowledge and integrity genuinely stood out. It is very rare nowadays to come across a company that puts helping people ahead of simply making money, but that is exactly what Phil’s Drainage Services did. I honestly cannot recommend Mark and the team highly enough.

Mark from Phil’s Drainage Services came within 3 hours of our call, and helped us unblock a clogged and overflowing kitchen gully, that was complicated by a further blockage in the downstream chamber. After an initial survey, the work that was done for me was foul water drainage repairs (with structural lining), repairs on an existing chamber, and a surface rain water gully replacement. This involved high pressure water jetting & electromechanical cleaning, milling of the 50 year-old pitch fibre pipework to remove blisters, insertion of structural lining, removal of an old chamber cover & remedial repairs, and installation of a new uPVC gully & preformed concrete gully surround. All supported and documented by using a CCTV Drainage Camera. I was very happy with the work done (over 4 days) and impressed with the high quality and professional approach that was adopted throughout. There was a clear keenness to observe good practice and give attention to safety & conduct on site. I was kept very well informed of progress, and both the survey & final reports were very detailed and gave confidence in the work done. Work started on the specified date and completed a little early, and the final price was within the original estimate.

As a local building contractor, we rely on trades who are professional and reliable, and Mark was exactly that. After identifying a damp wall, Mark from Phil’s Drainage Services kindly came out free of charge to inspect our drainage downpipe. Mark took the time to carry out thorough checks and confirmed there were no blockages. Although he was not able to fix the issue as it turned out not to be drainage related, his knowledge and experience were clear throughout. Mark was honest and helpful and pointed us in the right direction.

Mark from Phil's Drainage helped us out by resolving an incredibly difficult and urgent situation on his first visit where a national company had failed. He was professional, kind and transparent in all regards. The quote which followed to resolve the less urgent issues was with no obligation, but was comprehensive, understandable, and backed by evidence - which immediately helped increase my trust. Prompt, efficient, helpful service. Mark arrived within less than an hour of our call. He was polite & friendly, & resolved the blockage in half an hour, providing good advice on steps to minimise future issues.

10/10 - Phil’s drainage services were excellent! After a bad experience with another larger firm the day before, Mark came round at short notice and fixed our issue within an hour. He was very polite, explained exactly what the problem was and how he fixed it, then left everything clean and tidy. We couldn’t recommend them enough and I’d say they are the standard all trades should aim for! Also, thanks to Carla, who was very helpful over the phone, responding super quickly and being transparent with costs. Mark was also very helpful with giving me some guidance on how best to approach my insurance and offered to help when the time comes. This was all on a Sunday too! 10/10 rating from us :)

Mark is very knowledgeable on all drainage matters and discusses the job in hand in an open, enlightening and fair way. He is an excellent worker and does exactly what is agreed to do and he goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done properly. At the end of the job everything was left tidy. Mark is excellent timekeeper arriving on the dot. Communication with the main office was very straightforward, with courtesy calls to keep me in the picture. We have a future drainage project in mind, for which we will look no further than Phil’s Drainage as we know that with them the work will be done properly, on time and for a very reasonable price.

I was very impressed with Phil’s Drainage Services. They came out the very same day to give a free no-obligation quotation for a blocked drain. Another firm had told us the toilet pan would have to be removed, but Mark our engineer, explained he could do the work externally. He did so working very carefully with a camera and milling tool to remove tree roots that had penetrated the clay pipe. I was impressed with Mark's level of professionalism. He even cleaned the toilet for us! Highly recommended!

Wow – what an incredibly pleasant experience. I contacted Phil's Drainage Solutions via Facebook Messenger and received a professional and prompt response. They were upfront about whether they could help, clear on pricing, and transparent about availability. I was offered an appointment within the hour! Mark, the plumber, was knowledgeable, approachable, and a pleasure to deal with. He managed to manually unblock our toilet, saving us money, and even shared some useful tips on how to improve its long-term function. From the initial customer interaction to the back-office support and Mark's excellent work on site, the whole experience was seamless. I'm very impressed with the service received from Phils Drainage services. I called the evening prior and was given a time of between 14:00 - 16:00 the next day. Mark arrived at exactly 14:00 and was very personable. He quickly got to work and tried hard to unblock the drain manually, helping us keep the cost of his visit low. Not once did I feel Mark was trying to make us spend more than needed and I felt I could trust his expertise. He shared some useful information which he put in a report too. In less than an hour our drain was unblocked. He even cleaned and sanitised the area.

Mark was extremely swift and helpful when we were dealing with repeated raw sewage leaks into our garden in the summer 2024. He undertook thorough investigations and provided reports which were helpful in dealing with the water board. He also gave experienced and commercial advice about what steps we should take to protect ourselves against future raw sewage leaks, which have to date, protected us from similar experiences.
