Metro Rod (Exeter)

Absolutely fantastic service. The telephone team fantastic and the engineer brilliant. Timely and helped sort the problem. Highly recommend this company. Thank you Taylor.

Very professional firm. Attended my mum's property within a few hours. Georgina was polite and friendly and I was sent photos of the work/job sheet.

Great job. Sorted blockage in a matter of minutes.

The service was outstanding, the man would not give up until he cleared the blockage. I have never seen anyone work so hard, running around several manholes to locate the blockage and unblock it. Thank you very much

Brilliant service. Thankyou so much

Had Jamie from metro rod come and sort a blockage for us. Tried 2 other companies first, who said could do the job that day, let us down. Rang Metro rod they more than helpful spoke to somebody said Jamie was on call, said they would get him to contact us we an eta, Jamie did what they said arrived on time,Jamie was helpful, got the job done quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend this company and Jamie. I only leave reviews when I recieve a good service unless there really bad then they get the opposite. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Absolutely fabulous company. Sam arrived at the allotted time. He had a friendly manner and was Extremely professional. it’s so hard nowadays to find someone so professional. He Assessed the situation without any fuss and got to work on the blockage. it was an awful job I had sewage pouring out around the outside of my house. We think the pipes must be 100 years old and were badly blocked. Sam managed to clear the pipes, unfortunately they started to block up again. Sam returned within no time at all and finally cleared them. I would highly recommend this company and I’ve already given their phone number to many of my friends sue

Can’t remember the young lads name that came but he was brilliant bless him, up to his knees in it at 1am!! did a blinding job of unblocking the drain in my garden

Very Happy came out on a Sunday within half hour and sorted a massive blockage in back garden straight away and very friendly will definitely recommend 👍

All good though I helped because they only sent one bloke

Very friendly and very quick thank you

The driver was very helpful and efficient. He telephoned beforehand to check the address and location. Unfortunately the lorry used was far too big for the access and he had a struggle to turn round. Even so he emptied the cesspit. Put the grate back on and arranged payment. Good bloke.

The two gentlemen that came to repair my collapsed drain, were very nice and told me everything that was going to happen... Even let me watch with interest what they were doing... Did a great job and to top it off helping me with an old table that I needed putting in the garden... I highly recommend. From a very happy disabled lady customer

We had Metro Rod Exeter in to bore out our fibre soil pipes and line with fibreglass! what ever!!! I'm not a plumber. They turned up on time and did a fantastic job and cleaned up before they left. I would be happy to recommend them.

Jay was so good he really worked hard to get blockage sorted even waiting for us to check everything was working OK again .I would really recommend him so perlite.

Customer service was great. And the chap who did the job was very polite

Very very helpful

The workmen found the problem and rectified it. They were polite and explained the problem and what they were doing. When the job was complete they left everything clean and tidy.

These guys went above and beyond to help us out and identified issues that previous contractors had missed. They know their stuff.

This guy came out to unblock my waste pipe , due to acid being used by a plumber over 24hrs before he suffered some burns . I called to see how he was . My advise to anyone with a blocked pipe would be call these guys out instead and not let anyone use acid . This guy was brilliant took no time to clear the pipe just sad that he got hurt . Thank you and hope he's doing OK and recovering

Problem solved fast, lovely chap too. Not only that…. He gave me some invaluable advice about the problem. Worth every penny.

It was a fast response and the person that arrived was professional, polite, respectful and did a fast and effective job

You’re lads have been to me a few times now, and. Have always been polite and respectful. Thank you.

Great service from Exeter branch Highly recommended

Great company - quick response and reasonable charges.

Very prompt service, Scott did an excellent job. Reasonable price

Really pleased. Had a blocked sink/drain problem. John and Scott came, friendly guys. They were on time and called before arriving. They got straight to the problem, no messing about or dragging it out. Good value for money, and also gave some tips to avoid blockages in future. So nice to have a sink that drains properly now. Really pleased. Many thanks guys!

John has just left having sorted out a difficult blockage with our bathroom plumbing. Tonight he did more than what all the plumbers we have had come out to us in the last 2 years! Friendly, professional, got the job done and kept us informed of everything. Thank you John!

Wow incredible service had a really bad blocked drain john came in and sorted it right out amazing guy

Amazing service John did a brilliant job....and left it spotless

Absolutely Incredible service!!! Had really bad blocked pipes- the worker and his manager stayed for hours to sort it out, help put stuff away and made sure that everything was working before they left. They were so amazing- big thank you!

Responsive. Professional. Communicative. Reliable. Cannot recommend them enough

Great Service, attended as promised.

Prompt response to my enquiry. Engineer arrived on time and resolved the issue first time. Fairly priced, would use again!

Had an emergency flood - they came out an hour after my call for help! Fantastic - sorted it. So pleasant. Made a great experience out of a nightmare! Thanks! Helena

These guys were doing work for my neighbour in Harris Place. They did a lot of digging and replaced some pipes while really cleaning after themselves well and leaving the street like it was before. There was a lot of contractors working on our street before but these guys were so good and professional that I had to leave them a 5 star review. Can’t comment on the cost of the service though as my neighbour was paying the bill :)

We didn't expect such a prompt and helpful response when we found our main drain blocked late one evening. The people we spoke to were so helpful and reassuring, even at 10.30 at night! They kept us informed throughout and arranged for an operative to call first thing next morning and he solved the problem in no time. Hugely impressed! Thank you

As soon as friendly metro rod man name Mike came to deal with our problem we received 5 stars treatment. He explained what he was going to do primarily and if this didn’t work he would look at the sewage at the front! Problem solve! Brilliant! Thank you Mike Sylvia & Paul 🙏

Jack bird defo the best engineer asset to the company super helpful awesome skill set defo needs a promotion

Great customer service from Andy and Nick. Friendly and helpful.

Excellent job, friendly chaps, highly recommend Lee & Ryan 👍🏻

Barry arrived promptly, rang me to tell me when he was going to arrive. Was able to sort my issue quickly. Very helpful, polite and really went the extra mile! Thank you!

The service received from this company and especially Barry has been excellent. He refused to give up trying to locate the cause of the leak in my house, it turned out to be an extremely difficult and very awkward job, Barry kept me informed throughout and was extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for your hard work and commitment. I highly recommend this company.

Would definitely recommend - quick service and the chap who came was really friendly ans professional.

Great service. Really nice genuine chap that came out to see me. Very honest and no BS! Just did the job quickly and efficiently for a reasonable fee.... I would definitely recommend. Many thanks Tom from Heavitree :)

Fantastic service from Wayne who unblocked our drains despite a tricky Buchan Trap...and who educated us about what the hell a Buchan Trap was.

I just used this company for a drain survey as need to build over some pipework located in my property. They did a fantastic survey and a very comprehensive report which included videos and photographs. This was a fantastic service and I highly recommend this company.

absolutely brilliant. The bloke went above and beyond for us. would definately recommend. from The Kingshead pub, Plymouth

Excellent service!

I stupidly dropped my car keys down a drain in Exeter, having called Devon County Council/Highways who informed me it would cost me hundreds of pounds to get a contractor out.... I called Metro Rod. They were with me within 30 minutes, removed the drain cover (which I couldn’t move) and found my keys in the needle filled, stinking sludge in the drain. I didn’t get the operators name but he was fantastic! Great customer service and extremely reasonable cost. Very impressed!

They care out to unblock my toilet charged me £108. The next day it was blocked again and said they would charge me another £108 to unblock. If they had done the job first time round properly this would not be needed. Do not use this company
