Terrible company, I sent in a massive job and was told they will get back to me, but heard nothing from them and for some reason me as a client I am having to chase them,
Your engineer undertook my learner driver on the Manchester link road and drove towards Woodford what a complete idiot. He was literally out of slip road joining the dual carriageway and decided it was a great idea to undertake us. PN17AYA
Cheap and cheerful. not the best but cheap
My home care cover with Your Repair instructed these to come out to unblock a drain. They came out and spent almost an hour trying to unblock the drain from the side of the house despite telling them the blockage is in the back garden. They could not do the job so they left without unblocking the drain and provided a report to Your Repair to say we needed a camera inspection which Your Repair do not cover. I presume they tought the cost would be covered by Your Repair. This morning i called a local drain unblocker who got the drain unblocked in 10 minutes (from the back garden), pressured washed the drains and left.
Fantastic service by Dave Barton & Mark George, who were professional, helpful and who sorted out an ongoing problem in a super fast time. Would highly recommend.

I have to applaud Craig Drane for his tenacity and expertise at resolving our issue with a blocked toilet. It was a very challenging job for him but he never gave in.
Work carried out by Lanes Drains following survey and move to new home. Several issues of concern: Final invoice did not tally up with work carried out (£400 more than it should have been). Was not advised when the quote for work was initially given, that United Utilities were responsible for some of the drains and as such I could have used Lanes to do this work and be charged when UU would be responsible and as such nearly paid Lanes to do the work. Never received a quote for supposed extra work and then when UU checked, they advised me that they could see no defects. Ended up having to claim back via my credit card company which Lanes did not contest. Lanes never came back with any explanation or apology until I raised this issue via Lanes "contact a Director email". Apology has now been received but they were unable to explain why some of the issues had arisen. Have lost total trust in them and will not use again.
The lady who received my call was polite and reassuring. The technician that came was excellent. It is a pity I did not ask their names. On my experience today I would definitely recommend Lanes for Drains. Thank you.
What a bunch of jokers. 3 guys turned up outside our block of flats to unblock a drain all beit on the main road at around 11.00pm. This loud noise went on for an hour before I approached them as there was no way I was going to get any shut eye and asked " how long will it take? '. To my amazement one bloke said another hour pal. Totally shocked. As I went back to my flat I saw them look up as if to say 'we've finished. It's now 12.30am and they still haven't been bothered to turn there engine off. This was all taking place at the junction of Oak Rd and Wilmslow Road outside Christies hospital. Absolutely no concerns whatsoever for people's welfare.

Excellent and efficient! Simon O'brien had the blockage sorted within minutes. He was helpful and cheerful, just what you need really, after being ripped off by some cowboys a few hours before! they spent one hour and couldn't do the job Simon cleared in minutes. Thank you Lanes for Drains :)
Very very poor service from the Manchester team. Been waiting over 2 months for a CCTV survey to be completed and for the report to be sent to me. The team didn't keep me updated with what works had been completed. Can't fault the service received from the Sheffield team though!
Referred by my insurer, Simon soon arrived and sorted out the problem , fast, efficient and most courteous service. Thoroughly recommended

The service I received today from Stuart & Danny who are employees of " Lanes for Drains" was absolutely excellent. They could not of been more professional, polite and extremely helpful. They resolved my blocked drains and thoroughly cleaned the paving after. I would recommend this company now to anyone with a residential drain problem.
My drainage and sewage provider could not call to unblock our drain until 4 days later. I contacted my insurers and they sent Lanes to unblock the main drain. The representative 'Simon' was first class - polite, courteous and efficient. The drain was cleared within 10 minutes! Thanks Simon!
