Outstanding in every way! From my very first conversations with Aminah and David, our experience has been exemplary. I was struggling to find the exact wood I needed for my upstairs floor conversion, but, with their tremendous network of trade contacts, they found the perfect, exquisite, prime-grade, oak herringbone blocks, which far exceeded any images in my imagination! Not only is AJC Flooring Specialist incredibly professional, but the quality of David’s work is truly breathtaking; my whole upstairs floor looks like liquid gold. They were at all times completely reliable, came to work exactly when they said they would come, got the job done in an extremely timely fashion, And left our home would not a speck of dust anywhere. If you are looking to have a wooden floor fitted, and want to ensure it is done by the very best there is, AJC is the company to trust with that huge responsibility.
David and Aminah were both great. David fitted engineered wood flooring in most of our house and did a great job. We're very happy with the result. Aminah was very helpful in organising everything. Definitely recommended
I have used David to fit both engineered oak flooring, and herringbone solid parquet flooring. On both occasions, he did a beautiful job - from helping source the actual floor, to ensuring there was a good and solid subfloor, and finally laying and finishing the oak floors themselves. He also took great care to retain, replicate or enhance the skirting boards and door architraves so that the final effect was clean and modern whilst working with period features. Budget and timings were kept to, and the quality tools used meant disruption and dust were minimal.
From viewing impressive website, I did wonder if my job was too small. But after communicating with Minagh and meeting David, totally not the case. It has been an absolute pleasure having floor done from start to finish. Completely hassle free, punctual, good communications and its exactly what we wanted. Everything we hoped for. Definitely recommend.
Dave and his colleague from AJC installed a bamboo floor in our entire ground floor (approx 100m2). Recommended by Bamboo Flooring in Leicester, we followed up with Aminah for a quote. From start to finish excellent service and follow up for minor niggles. Competitively priced and great quality installation and finish with minimal material waste. Included door frame cutting to have a seamless finish, installation of underlay and floating bamboo flooring, with threshold strips and coir matting integrated to the front door. We had to wait for an appropriate slot as AJC are busy, but it was worth it. We were so impressed with the flooring finishing, we had Dave additionally bamboo floor our stairs for a great finish. We had the pleasure of having our wooden floor laid by David in our brand new house (new built) and I must say that he did a fantastic job! At the time of writing this review, we have been in the house for 2+ years and we have had no fault with the flooring so far. It was so easy to liaise with Aminah to get quotes etc and also arrange the fitting dates! David is very skillful and highly professional. He laid engineered timber on our floor and knoew exactly what he was doing. Can recommend to anyone and one must not think twice to use AJC Hard flooring specialists! The money was well spent!
