We contacted BioCraft about a noisy MEV unit and couldn’t be happier with the service. From the outset, Jordan and Harvey were professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable. They arrived promptly, took the time to walk me through exactly what work was needed, and explained the replacement process in a really clear, reassuring way. Once everything was agreed, they got straight to work and were incredibly efficient. They left the area spotless, which I always think is a mark of a quality service, and the new MEV unit is now running perfectly, whisper-quiet, exactly as you’d hope. All in all, a seamless experience with excellent customer service, great communication, and high-quality results. Would highly recommend.

Very happy with the service from Jordon and the team at Biocraft. I arranged the work while overseas and they dealt directly with my tenant to organise access, which made things really easy. I had quite a few questions along the way and Jordon was really knowledgeable and helpful, which I really appreciated. He kept me updated, explained everything clearly and got the system working properly again with a massive improvement in airflow. Professional, straightforward and easy to deal with. We had an issue with mould in our bathroom and the painted ceiling had deteriorated badly. PAT who restored the bathroom was very friendly and showed us what he will be doing and went through with what he had done, PAT cleaned up several times during the process. Had decorators go above and beyond after spending all day repairing the water damage to my flat only to have water come through my ceiling again whilst they where finishing up for the day. Communication with Biocraft was excellent from the initial survey through to the booking and completion of the work. Their staff member Jason, who carried out the initial damp treatment work and plastering, was professional, tidy and polite, and he was happy to explain the work that he was doing. recently had my bathroom done by the guys at BioCraft and it looks amazing!! we were really struggling with mould and lack of ventilation, they came and put aquaboard up which look so good like a hotel! painted it all with a decent mould resistant paint, which was to a high standard and now looks fresh and white. removed the old mouldy grout and re did it with a strong mould resistant one. They also fitted a ventilation fan in the wall to help prevent the mould coming back. This was all completed quickly and professionally. A big shout out to Lee, Kenny and Pat who were super friendly and did such amazing work :) would highly reccomend them :) Leah

Great service throughout. Clear and friendly advice given with no hard sell for potential solutions which I liked. The work was done on time and professionally by two of the tidiest guys doing a messy job of stripping old plaster, damp proofing and plastering. When we extended the scope of the the work they easily accommodated this. We were worried about having work done on the damp 9having read horror stories from other companies) but Biocraft have delivered a great service. I've no hesitation in recommending them and have called them back to do additional work in our loft now. 1st class job!

Biocraft came to my house to carry out a survey and then repair a damp wall in which the plaster was blown. The survey was very thorough and we got very good practical advice on how to deal with minor issues. When the team came to repair the wall , they were super professional, punctual and very respectful of our home. Their time keeping was excellent and they also very kindly explained every step of the work and were patient enough to answer my many questions. They were also very mindful that I was working from home and would tell me whenever it was going to be noisy. Finally the cleaning was done to high standard before they left. After my landlord noticed damp Biocraft conducted a thorough inspection and reported back work was needed. My landlord instructed Biocraft to install a ventilation system in the attic. The work was done by Jordan and team, they were great getting the work done quickly and tidily. When they had finished Jordan explained how the system worked etc, and I noticed the difference the next day. I would 100% gladly recommend this company.

Biocraft carried out a Damp inspection on my property on the 17th of august 2022. Rather than identifying the issues the workman on the day decided he’d rather take photographs of my partners nickers on the washing line. The report done made very little sense and relied on false information claiming I don’t have doors in my property to avoid doing the job. To top it off he took a photo of my next door neighbours house to use as a front view photo. I can only assume the workman on the day was either drunk or suffering from heatstroke. They have also stated that black mould does not pose a health risk to chemotherapy patients. Avoid at all costs.

Biocraft conducted an inspection after we noticed damp in two places. Their report was very thorough, but we didn't act on it for several months. Nonetheless, when we eventually contacted them about installing a couple of extractor fans, they were great. The work was done by Jordan and Simon, who got it done quickly and tidily. Woodland Tennis Club (Tilehurst, Reading) have used Biocraft several times for a variety of things over a few years. Most recently was installation of a new toilet, wall pannelling, flooring, wash basin, water heater, taps and related pipework. After being given a date for the work, it started when expected. The guys doing the work were courteous, helpful and polite. When there was a problem it was dealt with promptly with good communication throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Took a few attempts of making contact over 3 weeks & leaving voice mails. Once got through to secretary, she offered some sincere advice & recommendation.

The team at Biocraft have done a suburb job laying our new wooden floors! In addition, they cleaned the subfloor, added extra damp-proofing, treated all the timber against woodworm and repaired and installed new joists. Finally, they were friendly, professional and just generally a pleasure to work with.

The guys were amazing and very helpful explaining everything. They explained how the ventilation system works and did some good mould cleaning for me. The leak detection guy was also very friendly and helpful and found the cause of my leak. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend BioCraft in terms of both service provided & quality of their work. They worked with us to complete damp proofing works on a new bathroom. It was a job that had been abandoned by another company and they were incredibly helpful taking on a difficult job. We received a positive can-do attitude on first assessment and the team carrying out the work were very professional and the standard of the work was very high. They even cleaned up after another tradesman we'd had onsite at the same time highlighting their courtesy and consideration for the customer.

I cannot recommend Biocraft - they are expensive and are slow to respond. Overall I have been so disappointed with the service from Biocraft that I cannot recommend them or give them a good review. Here’s why: Having a few issues with damp in my house, Biocraft came to do a damp survey. This went well, the survey was delivered, seemed thorough and well written, all was well until this point. They recommended to fix the rising damp. But before they would do so, they needed to remove some render from the outside wall of the house, to determine where the damp proof course lay. The cost of doing this was £288. We agreed to this, as we were told that this money would come off the final cost of the full remedial works. We were not provided with an estimate of the final work at this point. Someone from Biocraft then came over and spent a maximum of 15 minutes on removing render, starting very high up and taking off much more than necessary as the damp proof course was only inches off the ground (see picture). The quote that followed for the actual remedial work was significantly higher than any previous estimates we had from other builders. We called Biocraft, and asked what their best price would be for all of the works they recommended given that we had lower competing quotes. The final price was then confirmed 56 days after I asked them for it, as they were so difficult to get hold of and unresponsive on email. The total price seemed extortionate. We decided we didn’t want to proceed with this work based on the price and their lack of responsiveness. We got the same work done by a reputable builder plus further remedial work for half of the price that Biocraft quoted, and he did a fantastic job. The builder who did the work for us actually solved the rising damp problem by doing further work and removing all the concrete on the path, something which Biocraft didn’t even mention in their recommendations. To charge £288 for 15 minutes of work, and the general unresponsiveness, is unbelievable. I do not recommend using them as they are overpriced and they take too long to get back to you.

Cannot recommend the team at Biocraft more. Excellent customer service, exceptional workmanship and really easy to work with. They have now carried out internal damp treatment to 2 walls now for me and each time they have made everything from start to finish a pleasurable experience. While I don't want to have any more need for damp treatment work again... I won't hesitate to work with them again. Thanks Martin, Jill and team!

Biocraft came to our new home to conduct a damp and woodworm survey. They had a very professional and helpful administrator who helped arrange this and the surveyor who came round was very knowledgeable and helpful when answering questions. I would totally recommend Biocraft having used a different local service (and biocraft are better).

Biocraft did a great job in converting a damp storage room into an office space. This involved installation of a cavity drain membrane system, fitting a replacement door and window, electrical works and plastering. The work was completed to a very high standard. The team were very friendly and professional, and punctual too, working over a weekend to get the work completed quickly for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Biocraft.

I had two guys from Biocraft treating the mould in my kitchen and bathroom, together with installing a ventilation system. They have done a fantastic job, they were both very polite and very professional. I couldn't ask for more!

I've used Biocraft on multiple occasions, from small jobs such as changing a Saniflo macerator to having a cavity membrane system installed in my basement flat in Reading. Most recently, they were my first call after a big water leak into a vacant property in the middle of lockdown. Calmly and swiftly, despite the most challenging of circumstances in April with skeleton staff, Biocraft provided the reports, photos and quotes for the insurance company, stripped out all the affected materials and fully reinstated my property without my having to be on site at all.
