We’re halfway through a full renovation of our 1930’s home, and the new plastering wasn’t drying out in places as it should. I tested with a DIY moisture reader and levels were high in some places. This made us very uneasy about potential damp issues. Andy came round at short notice on a Sunday morning and spent time understanding the house, the work that has taken place, and testing walls in a number of areas. He reassured us that he didn’t think we have any additional issues and didn’t need any work to the damp proof course. He also did all this without taking any payment for his time. Andy’s level of integrity is evident as soon as you meet him, a fantastic guy, very knowledgeable, and you feel you can trust him instantly which is hugely important. Really professional, I highly recommend ProofIT damp!

Absolutely brilliant to deal with. Great communication, very knowledgeable about his his work. I originally thought I would need a new Damp Proof Course however Andy identified what the problem was and was able to rectify it without the need of a new DPC. Saving me thousands in the process. Even though the house was a renovation project he left the site spotless every day and took all his waste with him. Couldn't recommend ProofIT enough!

I have no hesitation in recommending Andy to anyone who has any damp issues in their home. My walls in my Victorian house had no damp course and over the wet winter had resulted in rising damp in my lounge and entrance hallway. Andy was very, friendly, prompt, and thorough. He was also very careful to protect my furnishings and flooring. He did an excellent job of replacing the skirting and rendering and plastering the wall, leaving everything very neat for redecoration. He is very approachable, honest and hard working - especially if you keep him topped up with tea 😀 My landlord arranged for the work to be done so I can not comment on cost. But as she chose him to do the work, I can only surmise his quote was competitive. Thanks for a great job 👍

I used Proof It to carry out essential dampcourse work during extensive work at my sons house. Andy gave me a competitive quote and began the work punctually on the day we had booked.
