I had some work done by the Nordic damp company and couldn’t recommend them more. Cormac did an initial assessment and report. He was professional & clearly explained the scope of the work. Lydia was a consistent point of contact throughout the entire project. She was friendly, professional and a brilliant communicator. I was grateful for her updates through every stage. Brin was also instrumental in understanding the technical side of things and did a fantastic job of coordinating the project. Last but not least, I am very happy with the work that Toby did. He did an excellent job of what was in fact quite a big undertaking- displaying fine workmanship and consideration for my preferences throughout the work. It’s really unfortunate to leave this review but it feels like it’s the only way someone will look into this. The people I’ve dealt with have been really friendly and knowledgeable however communication and follow up is incredibly poor. I had a “survey” completed on the 25th September and was told the report and findings would be provided to me the following week. 5 phone calls over 4 weeks, every time being told they would look into it and call me back, it’s the 24th October and I’ve still not got anything. I was hesitant based on the approximate verbal quote I was provided for the works to be done but I needed to know exactly the extent of the works required and funds needed in black and white before I am able to make an informed decision. I won’t be moving forward with anything from this company now, it’s a shame.

Having searching online and reading reviews about Nordic Damp Specialist I took the chance and contacted them. A phone call and then 2 days later Cormac visited out property to assess the situation with the damp problem we had. He spend a good while discussing the issues we had. He was very knowledgeable and also very thorough. Talking through everything in detail he suggested needed doing to rid of the problem we had. Communication from then was very good. Tiffany who I spoke to many times I have to say was excellent. Within 2 weeks a date was booked for the work to be done. That was impressive. It was then, that Toby came to do the work needed to remove the damp. Even on the morning before he arrived he rang to say he would be slightly late. What a gentleman! He came for 3 days and I can honestly say what an absolute pleasure it was to meet him. He completed the job with 💯 professionalism and perfection. And to top it off I felt happy enough to leave him at our house whilst at work. And then to come home and find Toby had completely cleaned up after him. Thank you for that Toby 👌🙏🏻 In all I can honestly say we are absolutely delighted with the service and professionalism from Nordic and would most definitely 💯 recommend and use them again.

Nordic Preservations recently completed work on our house to resolve a damp issue. Toby from Nordic Preservations undertook the damp proofing and plastering. He arrived on time each day and his communication was very good. The standard of his work especially his plastering was excellent. Toby did a great job. After an initial communication issue resulting in a no-show (to be fair this was beyond Nordic's ability to control bar informing me), Cormac pulled out some stops and corrected it. The standard of service from that point on was outstanding. The guys that were sent to carry out necessary works (Lennon and Toby - both HIGHLY recommended) were prepared to take their time to get things right, even if it meant taking longer than originally budgeted for. I found this approach refreshing in today's 'promise the earth, deliver some mud' trade environment. I would 100% recommend Nordic and would not hesitate to use them again.

I highly recommend Nordic Preservations. They were the only company who proactively responded to our mould issue. From start to finish, the service was fantastic. Cormac came and provided a very thorough survey and explanation of what was required to resolve the problem. It was honest and transparent and this gave us confidence right from the beginning. Lennon and Brin who came to complete the work were excellent, very friendly, professional and took care to look after our house. They also went above and beyond as the scope of work was extended at the last minute and they were very happy to accommodate and made the necessary arrangements for that to happen. On 9 may Cormac cane round to investigate a potential damp problem as a result of a level 3 survey. He was fantastic. Thorough and really knew his stuff. He was able to give me an idea of costs involved and what the issue is. Definitely recommend this company

After discovering damp patches on my bathroom ceiling I called Nordic to investigate. After providing me a solution we agreed for works to be carried out. A clean professional job was completed from start to finish.

On the 1st April I had Cormac come over to give our room a survey. On this day he gave a very thorough explanation of the types of removal and prevention they could use to help us out. Cormac was incredibly professional in the time he was at our home, and after the survey I felt I had a good idea of what was going to be done. On the 9th Lenon came over to undertake the work in the bathroom. He was just as clear and concise about what was to happen, and just as professional. Just over an hour later, the work was done - and I was incredibly pleased with the results and work of the two of them.
