Date 9th January 2023.We had a damp issue in kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor.K and L damp proofing were extremely efficient , very tidy , and extremely helpful even doing extra work while with us. We did wait a little bit for them partly due to our choice over xmas but I am glad we did.
Steve and Mitch were excellent putting right bad job done by builders some years ago, re damp proofed walls and inserted new joists which had become rotten and causing floor to drop. All said a very professional job.

Contacted them to assess and price a damp problem in our house. Arranged an appointment for them to inspect the damp problem for 31/8/19. A young man arrived , inspected and discussed the the possible reasons for the damp, and was told we would have a price by 3rd/4th September. The price never arrived. We therefore placed the order with another Damp proofing company who did respond. Unreliable!!!!
Had a damp patch of plaster above the skirting in our kitchen that starting expanding after previously just resisting paint adherence. K&L removed 1.5m width of plaster back to brick in our kitchen to 1m height and replaced wet rotten Pan wood above the physical damp proof course (below skirting) with plastic wrapped treated wood. (House built 1906) K&L re-rendered the wall and skimmed it to match the plaster above, taking 2 days. The price was reasonable having called and had other quotes and service friendly. To date the damp has not reoccured some months after and it is now redecorated. It is difficult to trust trades sometimes if you don't often use them or know of anyone and this was the case with me but I'd use these guys again.
